The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn

instead of tennis shoes

Very comfortable the first time I wore them.Told my wife I should've gotten a cheaper pair, but she quickly shot that down as she thinks they make me look look classy and stylish. Imagine that...These are my first Timberlands - love the quality and I actually agree with my wife!

I want several things in any pair of shoes that I buy. First, they must fit, length, width and they must envelope the foot. The heel has the proper height and the non-slip sole is good for any weather. They are perfect with jeans and casual slacks, but I am not ready to wear with dress slacks.

Great casual shoe, very versatile.

I first bought these shoes in 1992, while I was in high school. When they were referred to as (Bill Cosby Timberlands). Because he and some of the other male character's on The Cosby Show, wore them on several episodes. I recently bought a new pair last month. I wore them and they are by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I ABSOLUTELY love them. I would buy these shoes several times over.

I used this a few times for work but mostly to go out in. Let me tell you this is really comfortable. I've heard some friends say it was comfortable but I thought it was just how regular shoes were but the cushioning on the inside is insane!

these are some classic shoe from the 80s and I love them. Can't wait til the fall so I can rock them!!!!

It's a shame you no longer offer this shoe in a 12 wide. I've owned at least four pair of these and loved them. Now I can't get them.

I wear these EVERYDAY and have for over 20 years. This was my (approximately) 10th pair. They feel good, wear well, and are very durable.

Although I chose "Feels too Narrow", this is a very subjective statement. These (as do ANY) shoes gradually "adjust" to one's feet, and this "tightness" dissipates. I would stick to the stated widths myself. This pair of shoes will be my (approximately) 10th pair of these shoes. I just keep replacing them every 18-24 months, and even then, they REMAIN serviceable. My only complaint is that one or two pair exhibited separation of the rubber soles. TIMBERLAND replaced one pair, and I had one pair "re-glued" by a local cobbler.

I get these as my work shoes. They last over 4 years each time, I'm going on my 3rd pair and thinking about getting an extra pair for casual wear as well. That's how great they are, I can wear them for work and be on my feet day and come home get ready to go out for dinner or hang out with friends and will put them right back on.
