Bought these because I wanted a shoe for my feet to breathe and to take a break from my Danakos 5 days a week. The shoe is significantly loose, my foot slipped constantly back and forth. Also there is no support at all. My heel would ache after 4 hours or wear. The shoe is ideally for maybe gardening or short errands and maybe lounging. Not professions who stand/walk all day for work. I work 12 hour shifts in nursing and was very disappointed especially with the reviews I read has previously read about Birkis.

These were really cute and I was really excited to get them as new work shoes. However I realized once I had them on that they were very loose and would be impractical for a fast paced job. I'm used to Danskos which have some slip in the heel but these were downright floppy. They did have good arch support though. I am returning them for Danskos.

So, after extensive research and reading reviews on different websites I decided to buy these shoes, what a mistake! They are extremely uncomfortable, like another review stated they gave me blisters because they rubbed on my feet all day long. I am a nurse and I work in a very busy Emergency Room, so I need something to cushion and comfort my feet, these are not it, the insole is extremely hard. Also, they run a size bigger, so if you decide to buy these torture devices, I suggest you order a size down. I have my feet in a Dr. Scholl's massager as I write this because my feet hurt!

These are the most miserable things I’ve ever put on my feet. I literally walked 20 feet down the hallway, and had to take them off.

Miserable. They are stiff, uncomfortable and being returned.

The regular width of this shoes is way too big!!! I received a ruin shoe box in a plastic bag and the shoes are dirty. Thanks Zappos for easy return policy.

For large-volume (fat). My boney feet walked right out of these. They are built like wooden shoes, only rubber. Probably great for standing; not walking.

Fit was accurate but they were too heavy and flopped on my foot when I walked, definitely couldn't run in these. Returned. Guess I'll keep searching for work shoes that I can clean off.

I wore these 30 years ago working in the hospital. So I decided to order a new pair. These seem different. The foot bed is sliding inside the shoe. Due to this, my right foot has been in pain since I wore them.

This is the same true to size length as all Birkenstock’s. I ordered smaller based on reviews and it was too short. However, it is wide and very deep on my flat feet. With each step the shoes fell off even as I tried to hold onto the toe bar.

These are huge and wide!! I ordered the correct size, lengthwise they fit but they were so huge and wide and clunky that I couldn’t even walk without them falling off!!!! Way to wide. These might work if I was wearing 3 pairs of socks. But not gonna do that in the summer. So disappointed. Returning

These shoes are terrible. I feel like they feel and look like wooden clog shoes. They’re super wide and very big. I also had my mom try them on who’s foot is a size bigger than mine and were even too big on her.

zappos sent me a very obvious used pair of shoes, with black marks on the sole and worn out rubber on the bottom of the shoes. Other than that, they were comfortable. just buy a halfsize smaller than usual, they run a little big. i will be returning these used ones and hopefully get the new pair that i paid for.

Bulky, not secure, too big

After reading many reviews I felt prepared for them feeling "big" and was assured that they would be my favorite work shoe. Sadly, although being the correct size, they are too big for my comfort. After giving them 3 days at work, I wish I would have trusted my instinct and just returned them. Expensive mistake on my part.

I usually wear a 40 but I ordered a 39 & a 40 just to be sure I would get something that fit. Boy was I wrong. The 39 felt 2 sizes too big and the 40 was HUGE.

I’m a nurse and I was hoping to replace my danskos with these as I love my birkenstock sandals. I got the same size as my sandals and when they arrived I felt like I had my boyfriend’s shoes on, they were huge! They are seemes like they were missing a sole insert, there was no arch support and just raised writing on the base which I imagine would be very irritating if I were to wear these to work for 12+hrs. Very disappointed, back to Danskos for me.

The "regular" width was like putting my foot in a rowboat. Way too wide. I am usually a medium. I will try to find the narrow/medium width and see if it works better. Unfortunately, though Zappos says the N/M width should fit medium feet, it doesn't offer it. Apparently "regular" is more like very wide.
