Rugged quality boot..... This boot is easy to slip on. Compared to my other boots it did require using a thinner sock. It could be the harness construction or maybe the stiffness of new leather. Nonetheless, it is a great, sturdy boot by far!!!

The best boot money can buy - This is the third time Ive bought these Frye boots. I have never worn a better boot. Highest quality imaginable. Tight at first but the will conform nicely. Truly timeless design.

Short boot--not short on Quality and Good Looks - I bought this boot for riding my motorcycle. It is very comfortable and the rubber sole helps me keep my balance when stopped or "walking" the bike. They are a bit tight putting on and taking off because of the strap across the top. There is not much give there. It does scrape the top of my feet. These boots are solid and rugged, yet comfortable right out of the box-no break in required. I would recommend this classic boot to anyone looking for comfort, quality, durability, and good looks.

Nice Boot - They are taking a little bit to break in, but they look and feel pretty good!

Tight - For a 12 they are just a tad tight, even though I wear other shoes in size 12 and they feel perfect. Being a tad tight makes it a little uncomfortable (after long periods) and a pain to put on. Great shoes nevertheless; They look great!

Style and Quality - I've bought Frye's before so I knew the quality was worth paying a little more. Frye's are really some of the most comfortable well made boots out there. I did have a bit of trouble with the size. I usually take a 10.5 but this seemed to slip a bit in the heel so I settled on the 10. It's a bit tight by the toes, but I'm hoping that it will stretch a bit over time. The look of these boots is fantastic and I've gotten plenty of compliments. I'm sure I'll own these boots for a very long time - the harness is just a great classic look.

Goes very well with blue jeans - Excellent buying experience. Your staff is very friendly and accomodating. I ordered what I think my shoe size is but this boots were 1/2 size bigger. Your staff responded to my exchange request immediately and shipped me the next smaller size. Thanks.

The harness boot is very good looking, the one drawback is that initially, it is very difficult to put on. The area of the harness takes a bit of getting used to when placing the foot inside. Other than that I am very pleased with this boot.

Unusual fit - I normally wear size 11.5 or 12, but the only size I could fit into was a size 13. I feel like Frankenstein walking around in them as they are big boots.

Ugh! The boots looked nice and the leather seemed to be of good quality, but after wearing them all day I noticed my one foot started going numb. The boots were cut differently and the one boot was tighter where the strap goes over the top of the foot. It is so uncomfortable I can't even wear them any more. Now, after an hour or so, my foot literally starts throbbing. I wear 11 1/2-12, I got the 12 and they are definitely too tight. At least one is.

Unfortunately had to return as it was too big. Says true to size which typically means 12D for me. The quality and looks were top notch. Returns through Zappos is a breeze. Would have exchanged for 11.5D but size was not available. Ultimately bought the 12R in 11.5D and they fit perfect. Vamp hugs foot like a glove and zero heel slip.

Love them! I'm a woman (very girly girl) who just wanted a solid pair of biker boots. No, I don't ride bikes. These are SOLID! Heavy! Well made and I have no complaints. I bought the womens version in a 8. I hated them - looked too much like cowboy boots - and I love cowboy boots but that was not the look I was going for here - plus the womens version was soooo narrow across the top of my feet (where your bunions would be). The mens version in Black was a homerun! These boots are both masculine looking but they could work for women as well. These worked for me! I plan to wear them with dresses and with leggings and with boot cut jeans

Just opened these today....and they fit perfect (half size smaller) . I can't believe the look, they are fantastic quality. These are my second pair of Frye's , first being Smith Engineer and they are unmatched in quality. I see a heck of a Frye collection in my future.
