Mixed feelings - Really liked the look and overall quality and comfort of the shoe. It seems to be a little short for the size and (although I have just had them a short time) I'm concerned about the durability of the sole since it appears to be of the same soft leather as the top. That's probably no problem on carpet, but I'm concerned about longevity on my hardwood floors. I'll agree with another reviewer that the insole seems excessively hard. A little more give in the insole would be appreciated.

Quality product - Nice, comfortable slipper. Quality construction. Good materials. Best for around-the-house as sole is soft leather too. Best worn with socks as leather lining is sticky to bare feet and fit is best with socks.

Would like a better fit - It would be great if it fit me better and the sole was less slippery. If I'm willing to pay the price I should be able to get a better fit.

This product was a present to my husband who says: They look nice, are comfortable. The only concern: they could have a better arch support. As this type of shoes goes, the pair is the 2nd best he ever had. About the size: added insole with some arch support made it perfect. For myself: I might try out your shoes when I need a new pair. I noticed you have extra wide dress shoes for women.

The slippers are very comfortable and very pretty, but in my opinion their soles are too narrow. What was happening in my case is that part of the upper was rolling off the sole and touching the floor. It's not because my foot is too wide, but because the upper is so soft and pliable. I ordered another pair with a different sole.

These are OK for in the house, but I don't think they'd hold up if kept them on to walk outside to the mailbox on a regular basis

The size and fit were fine. My objection was that the backs were soft so that you had to use a shoe horn to get into the slippers. Could not get up at night and just slip into the slippers.

Others have mentioned the problem with the inner sole coming out and it is real. Too bad because otherwise I love these slippers. The leather is soft and supple, softens even more after just a few wearings, and conforms to the shape of the foot nicely. They are very comfortable, have just enough padding to protect your heel against hardwood and tile floors, look smart, and last a good while, at least to outward appearances. The problem is that the insole is not securely affixed to the slipper. Because it is leather, the insole will stick to the soles of your feet when you sweat. Eventually in my case it took just a month the insole will pull away from the slipper, first scrunching up and ultimately detaching altogether. It is quite a pain. I superglued them back to the slipper which solved the problem for about another month after which, the super glue held but the material of the slipper separated so that, again the insoles became detached. I would like to give a higher rating because I feel that, for the money, these are very smart, very comfortable shoes. But then, considering the insole problem, which is major, I feel generous giving three stars.

The slippers are very comfortable and are true to size.The only problem with them is if you wear them barefoot, and your feet perspire, when you remove the slipper the inner sole comes out with your foot. Of course, you can slide that back in no trouble.

Sizes Aren't True - I generally wear a 9 medium. The last pair I ordered in medium and they were too wide. This pair, I ordered in narrow and they're too tight. I am hoping that they will stretch.

Very comfortable, but... I was very happy to find a house slipper that was made in half sizes and a narrow width. The slipper is very comfortable. But after only a few weeks wear, only within the house, the leather on the heels have worn through to the sub-material. Not sure how much longer they are going to be wearable. Thank you, Doug

Aristocrat and Radio Tyme - Had previously tried L.B. Evans Radio Tyme Burgundy in size 9 and 10. The 9 was too small and the 10 was too big. Both sizes were too narrow. Switching to the Aristocrat size 9 was a perfect fit, probably because of the relaxed style. However I had previously owned Daniel Greene slippers which I was trying to duplicate with the Radio Tyme slipper, to no avail.

Opera Slippers - I ordered these for my dad because he had the same thing and loved them. These however were very snug on his feet. He is 80 and has tremendous foot problems. The other slippers were wonderful and he actually wore them out. These really bothered his feet, and he hardly ever wears them.

I received these as a Christmas present nearly two years ago. I had worn another LB Evans style for ten years and was immediately impressed by the increased comfort this pair afforded. The soft leather offers the kind of easy comfort I expect for an around the house slipper. Two issues that have marred my experience with this shoe. First, I was concerned about the soft leather on the sole. The two years of wear have born out my concern as wear spots quickly began to appear at pressure points. The sole will wear out long before the fine upper leather. The other issue has to do with the insole from the ball of the foot forward. The material changes at about this point and after six months of wear the the cushioning began to shred and separate from the top layer. A very disappointing experience.

Manufacturing Defect - I have been buying this product for at least ten years. They last about a year. This year only the inside sole is moving to the middle, creating discomfort. I bought both size 11 and 11-1/2, and it seems size does not make any difference. This must be a manufacturing defect. I had one pair replaced, but the same thing happened. I am wearing my third pair. The discomfort is somewhat less with a larger size.

Second pair.... same problem insoles failed on both after a few months. Trying to decide what glue to use. Not worth 75 bucks.

Don't waste your money. Insoles detached within a week, they are leather and stick to your feet. Cheaply made foam linings compound the problem. Net result is that these $80 slippers are unwearable within a month. Manufacturer has been aware of this problem for years, does nothing, won't stand by their product and suppresses negative reviews on their website. SHAME ON LB EVANS

Great fit, comfortable and nice arch support. Husband is very pleased with the slippers.

Had to order next 1/2 size up. So happy to have found these. Have been looking for this style for several years

These fit my husband perfectly and the slippers are super comfortable.

These are my husband's favorite slippers. He has been wearing the same brand and style for years, and I re-order for Father's Day, Christmas, or his birthday whenever he wears them out about every two years. He likes the flexible sole and the great fit.

Slippers are wonderful. Leather is excellent and the fit is perfect. It’s very difficult to find a EEE width. These are my second pair. They last forever!
