L.B Evans Opera shoes - I bought these slippers from Zappos a couple of years ago and my husband liked them so much he asked for them again. He said they are very comfortable with good support and he feels comfortable wearing them around the house when he just wants to kick back and relax.

Better than Barefoot - I bought these slippers as a gift and I have been elevated to hero status as a result. They are a perfect fit. The slippers are refined and elegant - look and feel wonderful!

Comfort and Style - Not only does the Aristocrat Opera feel GREAT on your feet, they look great and provide support. They are probably the BEST slippers I have every owned.

A Good Slipper - I find the slipper a little loose fitting around the ankle. If the slipper came in 1/2 sizes I think it would fit better. My personal preference is for a rubber heel, slightly higher than the sole with a stiffer leather sole {like the old Evans slipper). However the slipper is as advertised. I guess they old slipper isn't made anymore.

These are wonderful "house shoes" Don't buy these to wear when your getting out of the shower soaking wet. These are wonderful house shoes to wear when you get home from work and puttering around inside... comfortable and soft.

Still my favorite - I've been buying and wearing Evans slippers for years and love the feel and comfort of this slipper. I wear them every evening around the house.

Mixed review - I have worn this brand and style slipper for many years. LAST PREVIOUS PURCHASE WAS ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO. It was, as usual, size 9 EEE, burgundy color. That's what I wanted to reorder. Burgundy was not available. So I ordered brown. The 9EEE was too tight (for a slipper); ok for a shoe. A slipper should SLIP ON! I restudied your web page and determined that the picture of the black version seemed to be styled a little different from the brown one. When I returned the brown 9EEE I asked for a black 9-1/2 EEE. Eureka! These fit like the old 9EEE. I can slip into my slippers! Too bad you don't carry them in burgundy.

I had such excellent service from Zappos! My first pair that I ordered was too short. I sent them back and ordered another pair 1/2 size larger and they were wonderful. I received a prompt refund and the other pair. I have been looking for L.B. Evans slippers here for a year and just couldn't find them. Thank you for having them--they are wonderful and I have worn them for years.

Comfort - The only negative is that if you are retired and wear the shoe most of the day the sole will wear out in about nine months.

I first wore these slippers in an opera I was in at the New York City opera. Ever since then, I have been a devotee of this brand.

These slippers are great! For the last ten years, I've owned a pair of elk leather slippers from Cabelas, which I recently tried to replace because I liked them so much. Since they don't make them anymore, I decided to try these -and I like them even better! So much so, I've decided to buy a second pair just for a spare. My only concern is the all leather sole, which may wear rather quickly. But otherwise, they're terrific. Buying from Zappos was a pleasure -great service and with the 110% price guarantee, how can one go wrong? Highly recommended!

Good comfortable slippers - In the past I have always worn fleece lined slippers, which retained odor and never really fit well. These slippers fit great. The only problem I have encountered is that the inner sole liner comes out when I take off the slippers. I can push it back into place, but it is somewhat annoying to have to do this. Notwithstanding this, I really like the slippers.

Rusty's slippers - Since these slippers were for my husband instead of me, I will have to guess about some of the questions you may ask. However, he wears them most of the time and although he doesn't walk and uses the wheel chair for most transport, He does say they are very comfortable.

I have a size 11a foot and find it hard to get a good fit when the widths are shown in N M or W, however this slipper was as close as I have found to a narrow width. It has fine quality and appearance. Comfortable to wear.

I wore a pair of LB Edwards slippers for years, inside only, and they were comfortable, well made/sized and lasted. The last few pairs I bought were anyone's guess as to size and the ones I have worn have torn to pieces after very little inside wear, a few months. This pair 12 M are way to small and I'm not going to bother trying to order the next larger size because their quantity control is so bad. These slippers were $74 dollars plus tax. With the kind of profit built into these slippers they should be very high quality. Zappos please find a company that makes similar slippers of decent quality. No more LB Evans for me. Junk. Don't waste your time.

I usually wear a 10 and occasionally a 10.5. I ordered the 10.5 and they fit perfectly. ( I had previously ordered a Rockport slipper from another store and the 10 was too small. The 10 in this slipper would have also been too small. However, I mostly wear these slippers with socks. ) These L.B. Evans are comfortable, and I would definitely purchase them again in the future.

I bought these in an exclusive mens store over a decade ago. I did not know the brand, nor size due to it wearing off. I ran across them online and am very pleased to have done so. They are wonderful slippers, just what a ranchers feet are looking for after a long day's work. They are certainly not the most wear resistant shoes I have ever owned, but certainly my favorite slippers. I will not be buying any other slipper. One note, they certainly run small. I find it difficult to believe such a large percentage find them a perfect fit. I also wonder if they are all built to an exact standard....It took me 3 pairs to find the right size. I don't think the lengths are consistent from pair to pair. Not sure, just a hunch, based on my experience. It is hard to give then less than a great review! They are slippers, not work boots! s

Perfect in every way - Quality, style, size ... we couldn't be more pleased.

Found this slipper to be extremely comfortable and well made. I did find the fit to be a little snug and went up 1/2 size from my normal shoe size.

Efficient Service - Very nice to walk around with. Of course, nothing can replace the paint splashed ratty "old pals" I had to trash.

My husband's favorite slipper... Just not recommended for outdoor wear! Buy the slipper at the man's normal shoe size. It will be tight-fitting initially but becomes butter-soft and a true fit.

Comfy Cozy - Comfortable , nice leather and craftsmanship, and as always, Zappos strikes again with great service and quick delivery

I bought these slippers for my husband. He said they felt very comfortable immediately. There was no tightness anywhere, even though the ball of his foot is wide and his heel very narrow. He is extremely pleased with them.

This is my favorite slipper. In a house with concrete, radiant heat floors, these are just the ticket - soft padding in the heel, soft leather in the sole. They are instantly as warm as the floor - and delightfully comfier! I love their look even. Thank you.
