Inferior material -
For the short time I've had the slippers they are showing wear as if I'd had them a year. The surface material is peeling and cracked. I have only worn them on carpet and the outer skin around the soles is getting very worn. I've worn Daniel Green slippers in the past, and these are very inferior to the ones I've had previously.

I ordered these slipper in a 9 which is 1/2 size larger than what I usually wear and in the wide size. When they arrived it was like Cinderella. I couldn't even slip my foot into the shoe. Tom was watching me struggle to put it on and said "there's no way that's going to fit". Now I've read more of the reviews that many comment on the same issue of the sizes running small. I was not willing to order two sizes up when I have other slippers that fit in my size. Zappos should get back to the manufacturer about quality control in the sizing and making sure it conforms with US sizing.

This shoe is advertised as a wide width. It is not. Not consistent with other Daniel Green slipper.

After having several pairs of Daniel Green slippers through the years and being totally satisfied, the pair I purchased less than a year ago have literally fallen apart. Apparently these slippers are now being produced in a cheaper and less sturdy way and it seems impossible that I have worn out the soles of a pair of indoor footwear. I weigh 119 so this is not a weight issue. Very disappointed with this purchase.

They look nice in the picture, but this is a very disappointing purchase. I remember Daniel Green when their slippers were ALL leather, well-made, and comfortable. These are very poorly made with cheep and flimsy material inside and on the soles of the slipper. Just awful. I am returning them.

For years, I have been wearing between a 5 1/2 and 6. While I often have to size down to a 5 1/2, I have never in my life put on a shoe that was too tight in a 6. Here, I went for the 6 and it is way too small. I put it against my other shoes, and it is tiny. The slipper looked nice enough, but no way am I going to buy a 7, which is what I would need. Besides, sizing this far off indicates a quality problem.

Unfortunately, I had to give my slippers away as they were not true to my size. I reconfirmed my size to a 6 1/2 m (which I have been for the past 30 years). The person I gave them to is a 5 1/2!
