I gave it 4 stars only because my instep is too high to get the boot on. I have other Naot shoes and love them, so I'm assuming this boot will be just as great.

I love the look of Naot. I am searching for a wide shoe. These shoes were not wide enough for me. Also I am almost 70 and I wanted something with more more cushioning in my shoe. I so wanted to keep them. I sent them back.

These boots are very well crafted and are rather "Arty" in appearance, which I liked. However, as several reviewers have said, there is an added lift in the middle of the heel, contributing to a feeling of instability. It actually made it seem as though I could easily turn my ankle. I relish stability when walking. I don't understand the heel sole design but it made this a "No" for me.

I had these boots for four months and wore them two times weekly. They are wonderfully styled and are very comfortable. They recently developed a weird hole near the top of the foot *near* the stitching in the leather/suede. Very disappointing! I called Zappos thinking they would surely refer me to Naot but they are replacing them at no cost. I called yesterday and the new pair arrives today. Big fan of Zappos and truly impressed with their customer service. I hope these shoes last me a long time as that’s what I expect when I spend this kind of money.

The boot itself is a good looking walking boot but the insole aren't as comfortable. Once I swapped them out for a more cushion supportive sole they are perfect for walking.

These super-comfortable boots keep my feet warm, dry, and stylish throughout the cold, wet, winters of the Pacific Northwest. They're work-wear, not puddle-stompers, and perfect with pants. BUT . . . where are the other colors? I love my all black pair, which have lasted for years, but am longing for their other colors available in years past -- brown, purple, olive. Boo for lack of color selection on a great shoe.

Super comfortable and warm. I like the shape of the soul for walking comfort. Easy on/off. I think the shoe is a little clunky looking, but other people seem to like the looks of it.

VERY STYLISH! I was surprised just how nice looking these boots are. I'd wear'em with pants OR a dress. They are very comfortable; no break in required. They are true to size; I wear a 9 1/2 to 10, so I ordered a 41. The problem: my heels slip like crazy! After trying these boots on (and falling love with them), I am really disappointed that they EAT MY SOCKS because my heel slips so badly. When I finally took them off, after walking around the house for about an hour, my socks were almost completely off my feet at the heel. I want these boots though, so I may buy some heel thingies to see if they help keep my heel from slipping. Since Zappos' return policy is so AWESOME, I'll have time to decide.

Love the styling and comfort of this boot, but after driving with them just one time, the heel on the right shoe is badly scuffed with very deep gouges. Don't know if brown polish will camouflage the damage. Drivers, beware!

I LOVE this boot! It is SUPER comfortable and a really funky style. I went a half size up (I’m an 8.5 so I ordered a size 9) and they fit perfectly. The quality of the stitching and the sole is excellent. My only complaint is that I ordered the boot with the steel accent thinking it was grey (as it looked in the picture), but it turned out to be more blue - not my favourite colour of choice. However, I love the look of this boot so much that the blue colour is growing on me.

Wider than the other Naots I have. These shoes were too wide for my medium to narrow foot. However, the look was neat. I'll be returning these, though.

Fun and comfortable - These boots have an amazing footbed. I've been needing a more supportive shoe, and these are pretty cute, too. Only thing is, with long pants, you cover the cute swirls on the side. I love that they come in green--mix things up a bit.

Cute, comfortable shoe - The quirky swirl gives the shoe a unique look. I also like the look of the leather piece above the toes. I have very narrow long feet w/ the left foot being 8.5 and the right side a half size smaller at size 8. I got size 39 which was about the right length for my left foot but too big for my right. The shoe kept slipping on my heel so I put in some inserts which helped a bit, but they still slip a little and a very loose around my narrow ankles. Another small annoyance is that the left side zipper often gets stuck and I have to jiggle it up and down a little before it moves. Other than that, the shoe feels very comfortable and the support for my low arches is great.

A little gem - I have been looking at these shoes for a while now, and am pleased with my purchase. They are a little roomier than I thought but still comfy; I thought they would be more chunky than they are, but they go well with my jeans and have had a few positive comments already. Beautiful condition and very comfortable.

Oyster Boots from Zappos ROCK! Fun, funky comfy boots. They run a bit small, you may want to order up a half size. (Learned the hard way, but what a pleasure to deal with Zappos great customer service)!

This shoe is beautifully designed and comfortable. When I tried it on it fit perfectly, however, after about a half hour of wearing, they stretched a lot (and I have a very narrow foot)! I would recommend ordering down a size, because they really mold to your foot and can start to feel loose once broken in.

Naot boot - Great pair of boot-comfortable and cool look, felt true to the size but a bit low for the heel. Any way it's perfect for someone who'll be on feet all day.

This good-looking boot has a too-shallow toe box for my arthritic feet.

I wanted to love these. I was intrigued by the interesting style and thought they'd be great. I wore them around the house for a day, I noticed that the left shoe rubbed a raw spot my ankle where the zipper hits. Otherwise, they were pretty comfortable. But not $200 comfortable. Back they go.

I tried to find these boots in a store somewhere, anywhere in the Chicago area, but no one carries them in stock. So, knowing I would have to order them blind, I first tried on a pair of regular shoes with the Shell footbed/sole, in a store. Those felt wonderful. So I ordered these boots. It turns out that the boots have a very high arch, which I do not need. The construction is NOT the same as the shoe bed (Shell). I don't know why. I do not need a high arch, and these hurt as a result. So back they went. The Naot website, the USA Naot distributor, and the zappos website were silent on the high arch issue.

These are amazingly comfortable. They feel like putting on a slipper. Unfortunately, the size wasn't quite right for me: the width was right, but the length was too long. I also wasn't madly in love with the look in person.

I have these in a different color - bought them years ago and loved them. Decided to splurge on another pair and ordered these because the color looked nice. But be warned! They are not "Eggplant" color! They are brown. It's a nice brown, but it's brown. Nothing special. They're going back.

I liked the Chi boot so I wanted to try these. The sole is different than the Chi. The front of the toe angles upwards which is a look I dislike, so I returned them.

Zappos, I commend you for your quick delivery and prices. I like these boots very much. Very comfortable and cute. The only problem I have is that the front/toe has become discolored - sort of like scratched. Someone had mentioned that theirs squeak, and I noticed that mine did. Other than that, I love them. Very comfortable. I've been diagnosed with overpronation and these give very, very good support.

SO bummed this didn't fit. Super cute, no problem with the narrow leg, the boot itself felt too snug. Unfortunately, it was a size 12 - I usually wear a size 11, so won't be able to size up. I'm still waiting for a Naot brand shoe to fit!
