I have wide feet and arch problems and have difficulty finding feminine, stylish boots that fit. These ankle boots fit my feet perfectly -- a first for boots with only one zipper on the side. These boots were ready to wear, directly out of the box, and required a very minimal breaking-in period. I have now had them for one year, and can attest that even with frequent use, they continue to offer a lot of support for walking or standing. I have received many compliments on them because of the cute swirl design on the ankle.

Comfort and Style with great arch support -
These shoes feel better than any shoe I ever wore. They look great with pants since the toe has a nice finish. And the swirl on the side is nicely shown when sitting. They have lots of room for wider feet and toe area is roomy. I like these shoes a lot.

Wow, finally!
It’s hard to be a fashion icon when you have wide feet and can't wear heels. I've been searching for a cool pair of comfortable shoes for so long that I was worried that Zappos would blacklist me for returning too many pairs of shoes and boots that just didn't cut it! But these are fabulous. They're beautifully made, the footbed is completely comfortable, and they are the coolest looking shoes I've ever owned. I have a wide foot and ankle, and need to stretch them for comfort, but because they're unlined suede, that was simple. The green is great, too, very neutral and goes with my mostly-brown wardrobe. Fabulous boots. (Oh, did I say that already? ;^)

I love the look of these shoes. Style-wise, they were everything I had hoped. But they didn't fit my feet. Too narrow in the toes and slightly too short. I would have tried the next size up, but they don't come any larger. Smaller than other Naot shoes I have. Also, while the purple is a beautiful color, it scuffed if I looked at them funny. They arrived with one scuff on the toe, and got 2 while I was just sitting on the couch. The lovely purple color makes them impossible to polish, but it's probably not a problem with the black ones. I was so sad to send them back, because they really are quite cute.

I know women rave about these boots, but I found them to be just too tight in the toe box, even with a larger size. I usually find cork insole to be too hard, and even with the thin layer of softer material on top, it just isn't soft enough for me. The violet/peacock color (more brown than anything) has a nicer look than the black, with the shiny toe and circle detail. They definitely can be dressed up or down. Wish they fit me better.

Thea boots are really comfortable. I need a lot of toe space due to my bunions and these shoes fit the bill. The heels feel a bit loose but I think I have small heels. These shoes have no break in period needed. Felt comfortable the first time wearing it. Would recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable pair for daily wear.

These boots are a win. They have room for my orthotics and seem comfortable out of the box. They are roomy enough in the toes, not too loose for my narrow heel, and the ankles are roomy enough not to bind but don't flop either.
I want to wear them in New York City and am worried about the suede getting dirty and ruined. I'll be taking them to a shoe repair place for waterproofing. So I hope that will work.
The pretty Naot swirl on the sides and the cute toe detail make these special. I'm hoping they will be as functional as they are cute.

Size 40 (US 9) fits the same as all my other NAOTs with a similar foot bed (Kumara, Matai). I wear them with Smartwool liner socks, and there is no slipping. Without socks, there is some foot movement. Thicker socks may make these too snug.
The ankle portion of the shoe isn't too wide, so somewhat narrow bottomed pants will fit over it, but for easiest wear, a bootcut is necessary.
Still wearing them on the carpet to make sure there are no surprise pinches. So far, they are super comfortable. I'm hoping to put them to the test on an upcoming trip. The way the soles are constructed makes the heel to toe movement easy, so walking distances should also be easier.
The contrasting stitching is overdone, in my opinion, and I'm not a fan of the ubiquitous NAOT swirl, but comfort is the selling point on these shoes.

The fit and size were excellant. I bought these boits but not originally at Zappos, but I will probably buy a second pair at Zappis. They have veen perfect fir me. I sometimes gave swelling in my foot ir ankles, and rhe suede uppers can accommodate that, while being supportive in the ankles and arch support. I have worn them nearly every day, eught montgs at a time for about 5 winters, and they havw lasted all of that time. These boots are champions! Only in the last year or so did they begin to show wear. I do need a new pair. I used to have a two hour commute each way, involving an hour on the train, an hour on the bus, and then walking and then a lot if moving around and standing at work. I have problems with my feet, knees, hips and back, and these shoes were like comforting bulwark of security. I cannot praise them enough!

Amazing boot! Very comfortable from the first try-on. This very rarely happens with shoes for me. There is always some little (or big) comfort issue but not with the Naot Oyster. I wore them with Winter Silks socks which are thin and the boots were warm, but not too warm, comfortable for all-day wear. I am very impressed. The description says they fit as medium to wide which is very true. My foot is wider than medium and they are perfect for my foot's width. They would not be good for a narrow foot.

At present, because of a winning combo of neuropathy pain in my feet and legs, and swelling in my feet and ankles these are the only enclosed winter shoes I can wear. I cannot recommend these more highly! I wore them without a break everyday for about 8 months last fall and winter. Because all shoes need a break and because the soles have been pounded down unevenly (by constant use), I am now investing in the Chi model by Naot to see if I can give these a break every other day or so. I didn't get my original pair from Zappos. (Sorry Zappos) because I bought them at a small independent "brick and mortor" store, but would highly recommend them. I am buying my 2nd pair from Zappos. I am very grateful to the Naot company. My Oyster boots kept me going through my pain, through a long commute that involved a train, a bus, and some walking, and through my work day.

Bought the black last year and knew I had to have the oak brown. Is the price worth it? I'm a teacher and on my feel all day, so I say definitely. These feel like bedroom slippers. Also, Naot shoes/boots wear like iron.

These shoes are incredible. I have a problem with my left toe. I have arthritis in it which is causing a bone spur. Before I found these shoes, Uggs were the only shoes I could wear, due to the wide and soft front part. These Naots have great space in the front and have excellent cushioning. Wish it came in more colors. I tried the Telins style but they fit tighter around my bone spur. These Naots are perfect, and well worth the price.

Is the price worth it? Yes! Last year I ordered Oyster in black - like wearing slippers, almost made me feel guilty. I teach high school and I'm on my feet all day long. Besides being comfortable, these are super stylish. Oyster looks equally great with pants, leggings, or even with tights and dresses or skirts. Naot shoes are top quality.

These boots are heaven! I have many foot issues, bunion, neuromas, etc and I will only wear shoes that support my feet and have a wide toe bed. These were heavenly right out of the box. I wear them all day and my feet are feeling totally well in them. I have doctor made orthotics but I do not need them in these boots. I'd buy more Naot boots now if I could afford them and I will in a few months. I had been only wearing Fit Flop boots and sandals for years. These work just as well. So between Fit Flops and Naots I can be comfortable and stylish. These are more stylish than the Fit Flops because they are not as clunky. But I like the funky look of Fit Flops. If you want a stunning boot and comfort...buy these. I ordered half a size up to be safe and they fit great.

My sister (who has very similar feet to mine) originally recommended these boots to me when I was looking for a new pair of comfortable no-heel shoes. And wow, do these deliver. The arch support is excellent, and the shoes themselves are supremely comfortable.
I am glad, however, that she recommended I get a half size up (a 10, instead of a 9.5), because these would've been too narrow in a 9.5.
These have become my new favorite shoes for everyday wear, and I'm definitely glad I bought them.

I'm technically an 8 1/2 EE, which means I usually end up wearing up to a size 10 shoe to accommodate the width. I ordered this shoe in a size 40M and also 41M to see which fit better. They were almost identical in fit, both snug, though I preferred the 40.
I marked it "half size smaller" because the length was perfect. Very comfortable, excellent arch and cushion. Worth the price!

I have these boots in Brown and Black and wear them as much as possible during the winter. I wish I could find a summer shoe as comfortable. I recently went to Israel for 10 days and only took these boots. My feet never hurt me and I was able to keep up with the group in complete comfort! They are the most comfortable of all shoes I've ever worn!

These booties are the best! I am a great fan of Naot shoes and have been buying them for a couple of years now. Great fit, great funky style, high quality workmanship. Recently, I had foot surgery (back in July). It's only been a week since I've been able to return to wearing shoes. So I've been on a buying frenzy to find shoes that fit, are comfortable to walk in while I'm in rehab, and that look nice for work. These boots work perfectly with pants, are absolutely the cutest design, and they are so comfortable considering that I'm in a lot of discomfort still while walking. Everything about this shoe is quality. And did I say they are cute as a button? Yes they are! Thanks, Naot. And thanks, Zappos for being so great about the many shoes I've had to return in order to find a couple of pairs that fit.
