Love Naot shoes, sandals and boots. The left back heel of these boots stuck out and rubbed the back of my foot. That is why I am returning them.

I love these but unfortunately I must return them because they are too small. I usually wear a 42 but these are just too short and a bit tight to get on.

I got them for Christmas and by New Years the toe part that's coated with some shiny violet coating started to come off especially on my big toes. Maybe it rubs off but I only go grocery shopping and to work. I do not wear them on hikes or anything so I'd think that would last a little longer than a week. Maybe if there was a shoe polish of that color so that I could cover it up. On the other hand these are not cheap and should last a little longer.

Squeaky Shoes! At first I loved these shoes- they are cute and comfortable. But since the first day I put them on, with every step I take, they make a loud squeaky sound like I've been walking in water! Maybe this is just a fluke with my pair- but I wouldn't suggest taking the risk.

third time purchasing this shoe style..owned blue and black and purchased black again...this time my feet couldn't tolerate much will see about giving them another try this fall...the style is beautifully classic..a well constructed fancy shoe received many compliments when I did wear them ..tuxedo type of shoe

I love the look of these, and really wanted them to work. When I tried them on, they were too small all around--definitely too narrow, and felt about a full size too small. I am sending them back, unfortunately.

I am on a search for a boot to take the place of my FitFlops, which are comfortable but not a style that I love. Sadly, I couldn’t get my foot into the boot. I tried, but it would twist and my heel would get caught. I have been told that I have a high vamp, which is making life hard in the way of boot buying.

Too Small! I have worn and loved other Naot shoes and was disappointed that this boot came distinctly too small! My foot stretched the suede section, distorting the whole style. But, very good arch support and seemed otherwise very comfortable.

I wanted to love these but can not. I have a high instep which made it a little challenging to get on. Once finally on they were too tight and pulled my socks very tight over my toes, they were thin socks. The toe box was not roomy enough and felt like the shoe runs a bit small in length as well. The arch support was painful and in completely the wrong place. Will be returning them and trying again with something else.

Small, unpredictable fit. I tried a pair of these in size 10 at a local shoe store and they were big. So when I spied these Naot Oysters on sale, this weekend, to play it safe, I ordered 10. One foot is narrower than the other and they match my size 9s, which are too small. I'd definitely order way up next time. I am returning this pair. One foot is tiny, compared to the other, and they aren't as large as the 10s I tried on.

Don't waste your money - I purchased these boots because they looked cute and unique and I have one other pair of Naot sandals that are pretty comfortable. However when I received them, they were not very cute in person. They have absolutely no traction whatsoever; I was slipping around on my hardwood floor. Looking at this shoe up close, it really does not look like it's made that well. I know this brand has a good reputation and I own the Naot Gardenia, but these boots are definitely not worth the price.

I have owned four pairs of these boots and they are some of the most comfortable that I have ever owned. However, this particular pair is not the same as the others. The leather tips are much, much shorter and the shoe itself is much wider than in the regular version of this shoe. I'm not sure if they have changed the design, or if these were just made incorrectly, but they are going back!

I usually take a 39 or 40 in naot shoes. These boots were much larger in all ways than I had expected. While they were comfortable when I put them on, my heels slipped and they were wide even with thick socks. Given that they are suede I figured they would stretch even more so I returned them and did not try a smaller size. Inconsistent sizing and wish Naot would make half sizes available.

Had one of the shoes not started squeaking a week into wearing them, I too would be raving about them. They provided the comfort and room I needed to heal from a sprained ankle. When the shoe started to squeak I just wanted to fix the problem to continue wearing them. I called Naot customer service (the store manager said she'd heard this before but it was out of her hands) and their rep confirmed that it wasn't an uncommon problem. He advised I remove the inside sole lining and pour talcum powder or, alternatively, put layers of paper under the lining as the squeaking was caused by air pockets between the sole and the lining. I tried both and neither worked. I called back and was told "Well, it might go away". It hasn't, and so they were a total waste to buy.

I purchased a pair of these shoes in December. They are stylish and very comfortable. I would expect a shoe so highly rated to also be durable. I walk about a mile a day and sit at a desk all day. In less than 6 months I have a hole in the back of one shoe and the heels are worn down. I had expected a pair of $190 shoes to last longer than 5 months of regular wear and tear. Needless to say my next pair of shoes will come from somewhere else.

I bought a pair of these shoes in December. They are stylish and very comfortable. However, I am very disappointed at their durability. In less than six months the back of one of my shoes has a hole in the back and the heel is mostly worn down. The quality of materials used for these shoes is disappointing to say the least! I walk about a mile or so a day and I work a desk job that does not involve being on my feet at all. I had expected a pair of such expensive shoes to last longer than five months of regular wear and tear! Needless to say my next pair of shoes will have to come from somewhere else.

Really cute and really comfortable. However, the heel has a little pad on the bottom that projects from the rest of the heel. It doesn't quite cover the whole base of the heel. I put the shoes on and immediately rolled my ankle. I'm sad that I have to have to send them back due to a poorly thought out sole design.
