I was really sort of hoping I wouldn't like these shoes because of the price tag, but gee whiz -- they were comfortable right out of the box. I have difficult feet (plantar fasciitis, among other things) and it is extremely difficult to find comfortable shoes that I can wear all day. I usually wear an athletic shoe to work just to save myself some pain, but I think these Naots will be a dressier shoe that won't make my feet hurt by the end of the day. Now I have to admit that I've ordered an even-dressier Naot to see if I can wear a Mary Jane with a bit of a heel! Naot may have spoiled me forever. I have narrowish feet with very high arches. I wear a size 8, and the 39 fit just fine with socks. I like the adjustable Velcro strap. They're a little clunky-looking, but I can live with that.

I am a Mary Jane girl and wear a size 7.5. I tried the 37 - too tight right out of the box and exchanged for the 38 - which slipped in the heel. I love the look , construction and support of these shoes but this style is not for me. How I long to be able to go to a store in my area to try on shoes - being a half size is so challenging! You never know if you should allow for a breaking in period - ouch! or keep searching for the perfect shoe.

I think Zappos' quality control is slipping. This the 3rd time in three orders that they sent the wrong shoe: box is correct, but shoe inside is not. This was supposed to be shiny leather, but was the nubuck. Work on this Zappos!

I've had several pairs of these(please bring back red) & this has the best arch support! Can wear all day for standing walking all over etc The front and toe can scuff a bit easily but it's worth it! I think I've gone through the Red pair(they were inadvertently taken by someone...just one shoe??) and you can replace the insole Despite my other brand shoes with luscious leather I keep coming back toNaot because of the arch support!

Beautiful swirl design on toe. Fully supportive soles without being clunky. Excellent insole and arch which are a signature of Naot. Heel counter is padded so no rubbing. Alas, I am sending them back because the toe box presses down on my large toe and the width is too narrow for my 4th and 5th toe. The cut is slightly wide but it does not come in a wider width.

This is a beautiful, sturdy Naot style. Unfortunately, my narrow foot slips out of the heel even with socks and tightening the Velcro strap. Disappointed.

Amazing fit and support! My tender joints love this shoe; after working in hospitality and retail, I invest in good shoewear. I have worn Dansko well for years, yet these shoes seems to better balance my tendency to ankle-twist. I have a broad foot with a low arch, and these shoes reduce foot pain as well. I bought a second pair to wear outside of work; the style lends itself to a sophisticated cute look.

This is my first pair from the Shell Collection. I have many pairs of shoes and sandals from the Floral Collection (medium width) which I love, but my feet are getting wider. These are for medium to wide width and they fit perfectly. They are very attractive and VERY comfortable. The toe box accommodates my bunions and hammertoe. Naot comes through again with this shoe!

I have the worst time finding shoes to wear due to mortons neuroma. These are the first pair that work, other than Finn comfort. Such a relief to find. Cute and nice with skirts. Thrilled with them.

These shoes are a dream come true. I've been looking for comfortable shoes for months with no success. I have anklyosing spondylitis and plantar fasciitis and I'm on my feet most of the day. I forget about my feet while I'm wearing these shoes. They are perfect. I wear socks or tights with them. My only complaint is that after only 3 weeks, the toe is starting to scuff. But take that with a grain of...sand because I'm a preschool teacher and I walk in sand and woodchips regularly, not to mention the little toe steppers in my class.

This is the second pair of this very same shoe that I have bought now. Wore my first pair nearly every day for two years (hard, hospital work), and they still aren't worn out - just some of the decorative stitching is coming loose - but thought I'd like to change up the color so I bought a duplicate pair, this time in brown. I have very picky feet and bulky prescription orthotics that lift my heel quite a bit from the shoe bed, but the way the open top Mary Jane style fits allows me to wear them with my orthotics. The integrity of the shoe is such that I can even remove the footbed and my feet still feel supported. I LOVE these shoes. They are also very cute and at least in the informal Pacific NW I can get away with wearing them with leggings and a casual skirt as well. Highly recommended.

This is quite clunky but very cute and comfortable. It's kind of bigger and wider, I have to wear socks when I wear this.

Roomy toe box but my foot isn't swimming around the shoe. This is the most comfortable shoe that I own. The price is great.

I purchased these shoes for an Atlanta garden wedding. I had planned to wear sandals but found out that it was going to be cold that evening. I was comfortable with warm feet while others were hobbling in 6" heels and freezing in almost bare feet. I was fine with lots of walking and dancing as I wore these shoes for the first time. I love them!!

I bought these for my wedding. I have awful plantar fasciitis in both feet. If it wasn't for the shoes, I never would have made it through my wedding! They are so supportive and well-made and comfortable and beautiful.

Cute, comfortable, supportive shoes with a wide toe box. Great arch support and padded heel that stays in place when I walk. I typically wear an 8-1/2 or 9, depending on the brand and width of the shoe. Naot 39 fits perfectly. When I first put them on, I thought they were too tight across the top over the bone leading to my big toe; but after wearing them for only a few minutes, that feeling went away. They are supportive, solid and comfortable. The entire strap is Velcro, so totally adjustable. I bought the Volcanic Brown/Bronze Shimmer. The bronze swirl is more subtle in person than in the photo, which I like. I wear these with dark jeans and capris. I wish they also came in a neutral so I could wear them all the time.

As I removed them from the box, my coworker said "those are cute." I was afraid they would be too clunky but they are just on the edge of cute. Now to comfort... I have fibromyalgia and plantar fasciitis and have been on a campaign to find shoes that would alleviate my pain. I can wear these shoes and they feel good on my feet but, alas, they are not a panacea. My Keens still win. So I wear the Keens around the house and with jeans to walk the dog and wear these Naots with slightly dressier clothes and for shorter periods of time.

Comfortable fit, even with a bunion. Large toe box, but heel narrow enough so that I don't slide around in it. Nice padding on the top near back of ankle.

I am pretty nearly impossible to fit for any shoes, but I was hopeful with this. Unfortunately, while I could get it on, the shoe hurt like the devil across the lower instep. I'm probably at least a 4E, and this one fit better than several other shoes tried marked EE. But not enough for me, alas.

LOVE. Need a sturdy pair of shoes to wear while on my feet all day rounding on patients. These are IT. Super cute! Super comfortable! Great arch support. I have a narrow foot, pretty consistent size 6. Ordered the 37s initially but they were way too big. These fit PERFECT. I LOVE them!

This particular shoe, with this particular footbed, is the only shoe I've been able to find that I can wear comfortably for long periods of time. It is a minor miracle! I'll be watching the Naot line from now on, and I'll buy whatever shoe they make that has this footbed! I use a custom orthotic, so the arch support is not an issue one way or another.

I have the Naot Matai, which I love, but wanted more of a heal so went with Sea. As comfortable as Matai is Sea is even more so. As usual for me, I bought them last minute for a 2 week trip to France. They are extremely comfortable and needed no break-in time. I love them even more than Matai because they have a heal (which for some reason helps ease stress in my lower back). The added cushion of the sole / heal allowed me to walk for many miles comfortable. I traded off between these and a pair from Ecco. Love this shoe!

Adorable, but a good size larger than Naot's Paris, Havana, or Magnolia. The footbed, while comfortable, makes the shoe quite volumous and my heel slip. Will be returning for a smaller size.
