I ordered several pairs of Naot's because I've never tried them before, and wanted to try a variety of styles and heel heights to see which would work the best.
In the pics I'm wearing Naot Motu on my left foot and Naot Sea on my right so you can compare heel heights and general fit for a size 41.
The Sea is an excellent fit. I ordered a 41 and wear 9.5-10 depending on the shoe. It's very comfortable, and doesn't pinch anywhere. There's a little room to wiggle my toes and the strap adjusts as needed for end-of-day foot swelling. I adore the contrasting suede on the top of the shoe. The quality of the stitching is impeccable.
It's has a bit wider toe area than the Motu, but not too wide. I also like how the toe box is rounded, but emphasis is added to the big toe area to make sure it's not squished.
I need a little heel height for my slacks and need more support than a flat offers, so these are a keeper.

Crazy comfortable shoe. I normally wear Merrells or Clarks, but tried this and I love it. I have a wide forefoot but narrow heel and these fit perfect. My feet have horrible arthritis, but I can wear these all day and not have sore feet - that's a first! I bought red, wore them around a week and loved them so much I bought black as well.

Before I got this shoe, I tried Born, Keen, Ecco, and other top brands. These are so much better than all of them! I highly recommend this shoe specifically. I think all of the Naots are good, but this one has a lot more support than the others. It looks the same as the Matai, but has a thicker sole.

Wow! I was hesitant to buy these because of the price. But after reading reviews and taking into account the fact that some people said they used orthotics, but found they didn't have to when wearing Naots. I have been told I might need orthotics so I decided to try these as an alternative. With Zappos' wonderful exchange policy and easy return it felt like a no-brainer. These shoes were so comfortable from the very first time I wore them. Your feet feel like they are totally cushioned (kind of like when you are at the beach and your feet sink into wet sand) and the arch support is great. If you have a high instep, as I do, the strap is long enough to loosen and still close properly. They seem to be very well constructed and the leather is high quality. If these shoes last as long as some reviews have reported, I will consider it money well spent. I used to were nothing but Keens, but have found that the quality has gone down hill. I went through three different brands until I settled on Naots. Looks like Naot is my new brand.

Fantastic shoes. They feel like they really hold my feet well. I have the Naot Matai shoes too, but I'm hoping that the insides of these shoes don't fall apart like they did for the Matais. I got a 40, and in the Matais I wore a 39. I work in a very conservative-dress environment (financial company in NY), and these are about the clunkiest-looking shoe I can get away with to be considered to be dressed appropriately.

I've been wearing these almost constantly for 3 years. I love them! I get lots of compliments on them and they are ridiculously comfy. I've gotten them crusted in mud and it just washes back off. Love!

These are comfortable, stylish, have good soles, supportive, and run true to size The peacock/violet color scuffed off the toe the very first time I wore them! A year and a half later, they are very scuffed, and there is no shoe polish to match this color. I have looked and tried. So they are cute, but they do not hold up the color or shine at all. The Velcro on the shoe is way too long and I had to have a shoe place alter it, or it would snag any delicate material that it got near like pants, silk scarf, or whatever. Also, the thin leather around the heel area ripped in less than a year and the foam came out. Overall: these shoes are really cute and comfortable, but the quality of materials and design (such as the Velcro) is worth less than the price you pay.

I have this shoe in every possible color and it is the only shoe that I know I will be comfortable in. I try other shoes at every price level but this is the very best!

I love these shoes! I bought them for spring and they look great with no socks. I wanted them to be comfortable for a lot of city walking, so I wore them without socks around the house for a few days. Perfectly comfortable first time around. They didn't rub me the wrong way anywhere. Bliss. They do run kind of large and I had to go down two sizes to get the fit right. I suggest ordering one size down.

Over the years I have bought multiple pairs of Naot shoes because they are usually very comfortable. However, this pair is more narrow than usual and the leather is more stiff than I anticipated. This is a problem for me because I have a bunion. Probably anyone without this problem will really like this shoe. As an aside, I have bought all of my Naot shoes from Zappos and they are great!

I read reviews to get these a little smaller than my true size so I did and they were too small. My toes touched the top. I recommend getting them in your true size first. They are very comfortable.

I have had an ankle fusion and work on my feet, so, needless to day, shoes make or break my day. This wonderful little mary jane allowed me to wear a skirt to work the first day I wore them with no pain or strain! Naots are the only brand of shoe that consistently work for me, with a very high arch and 2 different size of feet. These have very good velcro to adapt to variations of arch and a low enough back that my smaller foot does not need a cushion to keep from rubbing. While I used to think I wore a size 8, the 40's in Naot work better to accommodate my larger left foot.

I love Naots! This is the second pair I bought and they are so comfortable. I have also gotten compliments on the unique design. The leather is very soft and breaks in quickly and the arch support is excellent. The only drawback is that I'm a size 9 and I ordered a 40. The arch hits me just right but there's a lot of room in front of the toe.

These were my first experience with NAOT shoes. Recent problems with tendonitis and plantar fasciitis with poor orthotic experience led me on a search for a good, supportive, dressier shoe other than my Vasque hiking boots/shoes. These are really cute shoes, well made, the support aspect seemed good. My usual size of 41 in pretty much all other brands found my toes jammed up to the front of the shoes. An exchange to size 42 was disappointing as they were way too big. I am not usually a half size, but a solid 10. Another exchange, made easy by Zappos, led me to the Kirei, which was a perfect fit with a size 41. Interesting enough, the 41 in Rahina was also a perfect 41 fit.

If you want shoes that look classy these are not for you. If you like a more stable fastener these are not for you. . If your heel is narrow these are not for you. If you wear a true size 8 and not 8.0..8.5 these are not for you. If you want the most comfortable footbed you have ever had these are for you. If you need stability while walking these shoes are for you. If you need to feel sure footed while walking these are for you. In spite of the work boot appearance I would have kept these shoes if my heels had not slipped up and down when I tried them on. Returning them tomorrow.

I love these shoes. They are sturdy. I have walked all over the world in them and wore them to work (all day on my feet) just the other day. They dress up much better than the Matai. I have had them for almost 10 years and there is hardly a scuff on them.

I'm a huge fan of Naot's shoes. I own 5 pairs as they are the one shoe that consistantly fits and feels good. These are no exceptation. I wore them all day right out of the box. There is a tiny pinch on the edge of the toe box. I bought the black ones and the contrasting stitch gives them a purplish glow. Very happy!

I bought these in red last year and loved them. I tried other Naot enclosed shoes, but this footbed fits me the best. I have a Morton's neuroma in one foot and some arthritis in one hip. These shoes are wide enough in the toe area, the arches are supremely supportive and the cushioning is excellent. A month ago, I bought another pair in the silver/blue metallic color and I'm enjoying the look and the comfort. I do hope I'll be able to find polish for this iridescent/metallic color for if/when I scuff them.

As a long time nurse, plantar fasciitis was causing sore, aching feet and legs. I was willing to pay anything for a good, supportive shoe. The Naot Sea was the answer for me. It has the best arch support of any shoe I have ever tried. My feet are completely comfortable when wearing this shoe. I thought they looked a bit clunky and that the swirl was a little out there for me, but I have received so many compliments on them. Now my nurse friends are looking into Naot shoes for style and comfort. This is truly the best shoe I have ever owned. I have it in black and like the faint pink stitching and black suede trim. It has held up well in the rain too. The med. width is great for a slightly wide foot. I am also very happy with Zappos.

I have had a very difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable. I have had two major knee surgeries and nothing seemed to work, until I found these adorable, very comfortable Naots. Thanks to Zappos and their great policy I was able to find these and another Naot style after multiple trials and returns. Thank You Zappos!

I have owned this shoe for five years now. I am so sad that it is finally getting worn! I wore the Sea through two pregnancies, working on my feet all day - and I have never had sore feet at the end of the day! The shoes have aged beautifully, a little scuffed - and the Velcro strap has stretched a bit, so they're a bit looser than originally sized. Now the question is - order the same pair, or try something new? Thanks, Naot!

These are beautiful and very comfortable shoes. I get lots of compliments on them. My 16 year old daughter had to have a pair of her own. I have a high volume foot with toes that stay on the longer side towards the little toe, so shoes are practically impossible to wear. I have kind of Duck feet with a narrow heel and wider metatarsal area. I bought these shoes in a 42. I have a pair of boots by Softwalk in 10 1/2 WW that fit good...no other shoe does. This is a fabulous shoe that I can wear all day. My orthotics fit in these without taking out the insole. The toebox is deep. The adjustable strap helps keep the shoe on my foot because I had to buy it a little longer than my foot. I have these in peacock, Jade and black pearl. Now I can look forward to going somewhere all day without pain.

I love these shoes! The cork bed is great, but I also love the fact that I can take it out and put in my own orthotic and they still fit great.
