Let me say that these are beautiful shoes, however, they, unfortunately, did not work with my feet. I wear a European size 41, in a Sanita clog. I had spoken with someone at Naot, and I was told these shoes ran true to size, so I ordered a size 41. However, my foot swam in the shoe. I measured the sole of these against my Sanita clogs sole, and the Naot sole was 1.5" longer. The width was good, but I could not keep the shoe on my foot, even with thee strap cinched as tight as it would go. I returned the shoes and ordered a size 40. The size 40 fit better, but my heel was still slipping in the shoe. There was also a difference in the foot bed between the size 40 and 41. The foot bed on the size 41 was extremely comfortable and cushioned. The foot bed on the size 40 was not cushioned and did not have the arch support that the size 41 had. The foot bed on the size 40 also made my feet sore, while sitting. I never have had this problem prior to this. If it wewren't for the foot bed making my feet sore, I may have kept the shoes, used a heel liner to stop the heel slippage, and see if the arch support improved as the foot bed began to conform to my foot more. However, this was not possible with the foot bed making my feet sore with just sitting. This made the shoes a no go for me. So, unfortunately, I had to return the shoes. I am still on a search for a shoe that has excellent arch support, fits my feet correctly, and are comfortable. I have one foot that is slightly larger than the other foot. I also need excellent arch support for my knee, hip and back problems.

Ordered two pairs of shoes. Both boxes came in a plastic bag. The box with the Naot boots was torn in two places. The boos had fallen out of the torn box and got scuffed. Very disappointing.

Perfect! Great arch support, well made, good for a wide foot with a skinny ankle.

I am in my 60s (so have reduced padding on the bottom of my feet) and have rheumatoid arthritis (so staying active is very important). Comfortable, secure and supportive shoes are critical for my continuing enjoyment of walking and life. These shoes fit the bill! The soles are thicker than some of the Naot models but that works in my feet’s favor. I also adore their offbeat look!

This is my fifth pair of Naot Sea shoes - a sturdy, solid, stiff-soled Mary Jane. That is how amazing they are, 5 pairs in and I’m not tired of them yet! I have owned black x2, brown, grey with black spiral, and now navy. Each pair has held up exceedingly well to the rigors of my job in healthcare, looking sharp and functioning well with attire from scrubs to dress pants to jeans on the rare day off. They are the perfect depth to accommodate prescription orthotics, so if you require a deeper heel bed for this purpose (with removable insole), look no further. With my hypermobile joints, I have the hardest time shoe shopping, but these pass the test!! They also gracefully withstand the occasional Pacific NW rain puddle and are supportive and comfortable for long hours of wear. I hope they never discontinue the style because I plan to buy them, well, until far *beyond* when they go out of style. Thank you, Naot, for achieving pure perfection.

This was one of the most comfortable shoes I have tried! Unfortunately, it was a tiny bit short for me in the toebox and my 2nd toe hurt after a few minutes of wearing. There were no larger sizes to choose from. I am so sad!

5 star on comfort does not do justice! And so cute! I have a wide foot and finding a comfortable fit is not easy, and if the fit is ok, I often take the shoe even if the style isn't the greatest. I have worn Matai and Kirei for years, but this shoe is not only my favorite Naot, it is my favorite shoe, period. The top, back of the heel is soft, so no uncomfortable rubbing, no breaking in period. I hope that Naot will continue making this style forever!

These shoes fit well and very comfortable

These shoes fit perfectly - they are incredibly comfortable. My feet love them. As an educator, I am on my feet a good part of the day and these shoes are just wonderful. I have plantar fasciitis in my right heel that makes finding a good pair of shoes a true challenge. Wearing these shoes, I don't feel my heel pain at all. This is the first pair of Naot shoes that I've purchased, the price tag always made me a bit leery, but they are worth every penny.

Very cute shoes. Great for dressy or casual. Very comfortable. Feel good for the feet. Not heavy or clunky.

I love the shoe. Can wear it to work as a teacher. I can remove footbed for my orthotics. I ordered the 36 to accommodate those. I wear a 5- 5.5.

Not the prettiest, but it’s my third pair of Naots from the Shell line. Clunky, a tad heavy, but the best shoe I’ve had for being on my feet a lot. They last and last, so the price is worth it. Your feet won’t hurt!

Gorgeous shoes - and the only one of four pairs of Naots I bought that fit my wide, thick feet. I'm exchanging them for the black version only because the steel-grey ones are a bluer grey than my wardrobe prefers. Recommended.

I have two pairs of these and wear them everyday to work; I am a nurse and on my feet all day long and never go home with tired legs. They are expensive, but so well worth it. Excellent arch support! I get lots of compliments every time I wear them, too!

I bought these last year for a trip to Europe. I wore them every day of our 10 week trip that included hiking, the beach, cities, rain and I am continuing to wear them almost every day over a year later. I absolutely love them. Once the sole wears out, my body gets out of whack so I am hoping to find a replacement for my favorite shoes. These shoes are cute, comfortable and versatile. There was no breaking in time at all.

One of the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I can wear them daily. I have worn out one pair and will likely buy them again. This was my second pair of Naot and you truly get what you pay for with these shoes. Stop buying many pairs of cheaper shoes and splurge on one good pair.

Love these shoes! I get so many compliments on them. I have problems with plantar fasciitis and can only wear shoes that my orthotics fit in and have a heel.

Liked this shoes (but it ranked third of the three I purchased). Ordered true to size (38) and fit great, but it's heavier than the others.

These shoes are both beautiful and comfortable. I have problem feet, which require specialized inserts. The inserts in these shoes are very good, and in fact are so good that I am able to use them! This is a very unusual event for me! I recommend this brand of shoes to anyone with problem feet. It is wonderful to find beautiful shoes for those of us with problem feet.

I love these shoes! I don't ususally spend a lot of money on shoes, but I am really sold on the Naot brand. They have great support, are really comfortable and they look good as well! I have a different style in black and I am looking to buy more in the future. Zappos service is beyond great and I will contiunue to buy through Zappos.

I love my Naots! I actually ordered the Sea in the silver combo in a size 40 (U.S. women's 9) and didn't like either the color or the size (much too big). But I had this shoe before my surgery in the 39 (size 8) in brown and loved them. I'm having size issues after surgery on my left foot. So I decided to return the silver pair and order the red in 39. Gorgeous! Just gorgeous! And the smaller size fits perfectly (in some Naots, I've needed the larger size; not in these). They feel so comfortable to walk in, very supportive. And did I say how gorgeous Sea is in this color combo? Thanks again, Naot, for making shoes that are both stylish and comfortable. And thanks Zappos for such great service!
