If you like Converse all stars, the leather hi tops are a nice change. They were true to size and look great!

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I plan on getting a refill of these once these start looking old. I also want to get a pair for my son. I see lots of "Converse Heads" looking down at my shoes when i wear them too. Pretty cool!

These shoes are just plain awesome; so far they are lasting a lot better than the canvas ones. I mainly wear Vans at work, but these dudes are my off day buds and I highly recommend them to anybody that likes to wear high tops, from Skaters to Punks. 10/10

Wow! I have started liking converse when my uncle told me my Nike Cortezs were ugly. Then I decided to get Black Monochrome canvas Chuck All Starts. I loved them and recieved compliments. Now I wanted the same shoe, but in all white. I couldn't find what I wanted in stores, so I looked online. When I found a pair of them in leather and in all white, I knew they were exactly what I wanted. I ordered them and two days later they came to my house. And I picked the free shipping that says it should take 4 to 5 days. These shoes are beast and I can't wait to wear them when I get back to school from winter break. As for the size, I wear size 11 canvas Chuck All Stars, so I got 11 in these leather ones, and they fit great.

These shoes look great! I bought some insoles because they have no support, but that is to be expected with Chucks. Since these are leather they should last me a long time!

Bought these shoes to get married in! Went well with Tux! Converse usually makes shoes larger than others. Leather shoe has good workmanship to it. Would recommend to others who are used to Chuck's.

Important details to consider before buying - First let’s get the facts out of the way. Zappos shipped & I received in two days...great service! Shoes arrived and I would strongly encourage you purchase a full size smaller than your regular sneaker size. Plus understand that saying its leather is correct, but there is no arch support and it’s really canvas with a very thin covering of leather. Also, and this is important to me, the "Chuck Taylor" logo is positioned wrong...as it’s only on the inside of the shoe as they are worn. The pictures on Zappos are deceiving as the show a standard "right" view which shows logo on the outside as it should be. It’s bad enough they (Converse) decided not to include a logo on each side of each shoe as they always did over the years...but to only include on the inside not only looks silly, but defeats the purpose of buying "Chucks" to begin with. If you’re over 30 years old you understand what I mean. It’s a shame, I love the concept, coloring and the shoe itself, but it's overpriced for what it is. I really hate to return both pairs.

I bought these for my grandson for Christmas. He loves them! Stylish, good looking and comfortable shoes.

Great shoe. Got them in white monochrome, definitely better than the regular canvas ones. Size down a half size from your regular shoe size.

These are a great shoe - I bought these for my son as he wears his canvas version 24/7. I wanted just a little dressier look for "special" occasions. These are great. The leather is buttery soft and he said they are actually more comfortable than the canvas!

Outstanding shoes - These shoes are great. I bought black monochrome. They look great, they fit to jeans perfectly. I received some compliments on these shoes, they're sexy. They're quite comfortable but I wouldn't recommend them for a long walk.

Dilburgs Review - Zappos is the best, their price was the best, they had a quantity in supply and the delivery came 2 days later. I shopped locally and the price was higher and some did not have any in stock. The shoe fit just right and I wear them every day. I would not have even thought of zappos but my father said to give them a try . You now have a new young satisfied customer thanks again.

Nice leather sneaker for the money - I purchased these for my boyfriend. He got the ones that are all black. He loves the look of them, but did say that since they have no arch support, they hurt his feet after standing for long periods of time. He put 2 insoles in them and now says they feel much better. Also, we noted that Zappos suggested ordering a 1/2 size smaller than your normal size. This is true. We ordered the recommended size and they fit just fine. Thanks Zap!

So, I had to buy a pair of washable leather monochrome black kicks for work. I decided against the recommended anti-slip shoes and chose to go with my old stand-bys: Chuck Taylors. I was a little hesitant about the whole leather thing, being as I've only worn canvas shoes for the past 7 years, but I was pleasantly surprised. I wore these to work fresh out of the box and they were fantastic. The leather broke in quickly and was comfortable during an entire 8-hour shift. I'm a heavy-hitting proponent of these shoes.

An Updated Classic Never Fades Away - As a Kid I always wore Cons, did not know then that they were so cool, but they still are today. Was voted best dressed in my high school class, and still today consider myself on the edge of fashion. These leather Cons are very stylish, now, and speak to the inner person you are by wearing them. A great idea then and still today. Very cool Converse, thanks.

Glad to have 'em - For months I shopped around tirelessly for these sneakers but none of my local stores had them in stock. I was so excited to find them on Zappos and at a reasonable price. They're the coolest and they look great with the leather bomber jacket I purchased to go with them. They totally give me the "Joan Jett" effect. I am so glad to have em.

Converse All Star Leather Hi - These shoes are very comfortable. The all-leather uppers are soft yet supportive. The look is very cool and not many people wear them. I am consistently asked, "where did you get those?"

We'll See... After seeing them in IRobot, which by the way, get over yourself, was a good movie, I had to get those wheels. I thought at first by the shine on the screen they were some woven polyfiber. I was surprised to see leather. The woven fiber would still be cool, however. Buy these shoes, they're instant vintage.

Updated, can't hate it... I never loved Chucks until they started coming out with new materials for them. I now own a Sweatpants material pair, a Hemp Ricky Powell pair, and these leather joints. Cannot go wrong with Chucks and the leather looks and wears a lot softer than the canvas. Great pick-up.

"Cool," my son said. "Cool." My fifteen-year-old son saw the black leather Converse All Stars, and said, "Yeah. Cool." That's high praise, indeed. They are good-looking, and according to my boy, they're really comfortable. He wants more, of course. (By the way: Converse only comes in a medium width. That's fine for this son, whose foot is slim. My other boy, who's got a wider foot and high instep, cannot wear these shoes.)

Amazing - I absolutely love these shoes. I got them in 2 days and have loved them ever since I get them. The ladies love them as well. I wear them every time I go out to the bars and clubs.

I ordered these for my Wedding! I will wear these for my reception, I love them, they are pristine and white all over! I will dance all night! I am a 7.5 and I wear a 7 women's in these shoes and they fit great!
