These shoes are awesome. Every member of our family has them in varying colors. They do run a bit small though.

My daughter loves Vans. It took 2 tries to get the right size, a full size above her normal suze.

My daughter has wanted a pair of Vans checkerboard slip ons for months. She loves them and we are on day 11 of wearing them every day. She is 10 and wears a 3-1/2 normal width. The canvas to is very sturdy and the fit excellent. The shoe really needs a shoe horn to put on and protect the show but my daughter prefers free stylin' it. The snug fit is a huge plus - it keeps the show firmly on and even lets her run in them without fear of a fall off/blow out. I thik sometimes people forget these are not suppose to fit like house slippers but stay on as a kid runs, jumps, plays, rides a bike, etc.

Love this style. Ordered a size up and it fit perfectly. In the classic authentic vans, Im usually kids size 3, but in this style a size 4 fits much better and easier.

Over all pleased with everything! I definitely will be ordering all of my (5) grand children's shoes from here. All they wear are Vans and Converse and you have an excellent selection of both.

Love these shoes but sadly they seem to get more narrow with each growth spurt....my daughter has always worn these but this season we have to skip

Bought 2 pairs that were too small for my 5 yr old (size 10.5 and 11). He's been wearing a pair every year and I've never had a size issue. Decided to go into a store and try them on. Attendant told me his friend works for VANS and told him they've changed the sizing for the kid shoes so they are running almost a full size smaller than before. He would normally be in an 10.5-11 but the 12 fit good with a little room to grow. Still love VANS overall - just FYI.

Admittedly, these are a tiny bit challenging to get on at first but I'm hoping they'll loosen up a bit each time I wear them. I put them on over very thin no-show liner socks. Once they're on, they're as cute as can be! I have small feet and these accentuate that, which I like (I bought the kids 3.5 size). They are adorable with rolled up jeans and I plan to wear them with black capri yoga/workout pants. I turn 52 in a few weeks and these are my first Vans. I really love the way they look!

My 10-year-old wears these shoes literally almost daily. She has narrow feet and they were a little big but she loves these shoes too much to care. I was very wary about keeping them, expecting her to be complaining of blisters within a few days. I purchased some cushy no-show socks and the shoe fits perfectly! A few months later she still prefers the socks but has no complaints going sockless. I love how well they have held up and how bright the colors still are after three months (she has the white with colored checks).

Runs at least a full size too small. My son is a 1.5 and the the 2.5 was too small and hurt his heal.

Hard to know if it fit. the elastics were so short the child was unable to get foot into the shoe. It was tight and painful so we needed to return.

I've had to return and get new sizes and now will need to return again and get another size up. Normally a size 11 Kids but that was too small, so I ordered a 12 and that is too snug, too. Hopefully the 13 should fit good. The toddler 8 ran too small also and I had to go to the size 9 .. they fit her perfectly and she loves them and has been wearing them every day!
