Better than I’d hoped -
They are wide at the mouth, and low in the back. The toe feels good, not too wide or too narrow. It’s just the heel part feels unexpectedly shallow, and it seems like the top of the shoe should go back further on my foot. They’re not really uncomfortable, just different feeling.

Red PF Flyers rock!
These are my second pair of Flyers; much more supportive and comfortable than Converse. Get a ½ size bigger than usual, and they fit to a T. And Zappos had them to me the next day! WOW! I love PF Flyers and Zappos!

Great Shoe!
This shoe is a lot more comfortable than a Converse because of the insert, it is also pretty darn stylish! The only downside is if you do not get it at the right size, your toes tend to feel trapped.

Cool shoes -
I think the look is really cool. They are Converse-esque, but let you be a little different than the rest of America. Very sturdy sole which feels weird at first when you walk, but then good once you get used to it.

Look great, need breaking in -
I earlier bought a pair of Grounder Los. I think they fit me a little better than the Center Los, but since the Grounders only come in natural, I went with the Center Los to get some color. They seem to rub a little, but I think if I break them in, they will be fine. I also like that they are a little funkier looking than Chucks.

PF Flyers -
I love Zappos.com!!!!! Great service!!!!
This shoe looks great, feels ok, but I think for me, they need a little bit more support, and the piece underneath laces better be in its place, or it kind of hurts. Maybe that piece should be wider? ---Thanks.

Before there were Chucks or Vans, there were the PF Flyers.
Love them. I chose these because of the new canvas shoe trend. Instead of taking the rout of the Chucks or Vans, I saw these and had to have them. They look similar to everything else out there, but stand out on their own. These do fit much better than I had expected. Nice and cozy, comfy to trek around in, though I would not recommend being on your feet too long in these unless you get an upgraded insole.
For a design that’s about 70 years-old, it rocks.

Looks great, but takes breaking in -
I love the look of this shoe, but they gave me some brutal blisters on my heel the first time I wore them. I also am not yet used to the insole. I think it will be better once I break them in. My feet are big (sz 12 women's), but the shoes don't make them look big like some shoes do and I love that.

Too cute!
Never bought shoes before that looked like these. I got a black and beige pair to wear with shorts. This is probably the best "canvas" shoe quality-wise. Sure beats Keds. Unfortunately, my style critic said they made my feet (size 11) look huge and looked silly with my pedal pushers. Also that I shouldn't have tried to imitate the look from the movie iRobot (even though those were Converse). What a joker! I still just can't get over how cute these shoes are. They do look a bit juvenile - like maybe kids should be wearing them (I'm 27), but I'm not getting rid of them. They seem oh so appropriate to wear sockless at the beach or with a plain Tee and jeans. Only criticism is that the laces aren't long enough to make a double knot.

PF Flyer rating -
I felt that this shoe ran a little smaller than the same version of the Converse. I like the look. It is ok, but probably can't be used for long walks due to the pinching of the toes. I should have returned it for the larger size.

My New Favorite Kicks!
The PF Flyer's have replaced my Converse as my kick-around shoe. They are much more comfortable with more cushion in the footbed and they are a smidge more groovy with the exaggerated toe rubber. I bought them in natural and think I'll pick-up another pair as a back-up. They do run big, so order a 1/2 size down.

Cool, but narrow - take a while to break in.
I love the look - I feel like I'm 10 again. However, they have been a little painful for my wide feet to break-in. After 2-3 weeks they have been feeling pretty good. Not a lot of support in the arch or ankle area, but what do you expect for a retro shoe. Still, I like em a lot!

These are moderately comfortable - more comfortable than similar shoes I've worn, like Converse Jack Purcells, but not as comfortable as the platform supergas. They are priced really well and I would have kept them, but I got the all black pair, as the black with white soles weren't available in my size, and I just am not wild about the all black look.

I was hoping these would be a good alternative to Converse Chuck Taylors, but they just don't fit right. I wear a women's 9 and ordered the men's 7.5 as the size chart suggested. They felt too short and despite me having a narrow foot, they felt stiff and narrow in the front of the shoe and way too loose in the heel. It's a super strange fit and didn't feel very comfortable to me. Perhaps it would have felt more comfortable in a larger size. I didn't really keep them on long because of the bad fit. In addition, I just didn't really like the way the all black version looked. I wasn't a fan of the white and black one they have here because I don't like the white stitching and the red stripe on the rubber, so gave this a try. It just looked a little weird in all black. Overall, I far prefer the look of Chucks.

These shoes are fresh, just don't last as long as Converse. The sole started tearing in 3 weeks of buying them just from everyday wear and tear the tongue of the shoe folded too much.

Great comfortable and cool shoes. Will only last for a summer, then the rubber separates and the interior shreds away. On sale, I will buy them again for this summer, but if you are looking for durability, don't buy this shoe.

There is not much give in the width of the shoe. If you have wide feet like I do, these don't reall work. Maybe if they are broken in more they will fit, but I don't have the time to be limping around for a month.

I was a little disappointed with these shoes. When they first arrived, I was thrilled -- awesome style, very substantial sole, and a great value. I really loved all the rubber around the base of the shoes -- great for rainy days, because I could walk through a small parking lot puddle without water reaching the canvas! Unfortunately, after about five weeks of wear, the shoes are already falling apart. The rubber edge around the base of the shoe started separating from the sole only a couple of weeks after I got them, and now a piece of rubber has separated off the backs -- and on one shoe, the rubber "PF Flyers" logo on the back of the heel just fell off, leaving a big hole and more separating rubber. I also didn't like the comfort of the shoes as much as I had hoped. Those big rubber soles are stiff. The rubber toe cap was cool (and came in handy a few times, as I have two little kids who enjoy throwing toys!), but it was molded so low that my feet sometimes felt a little confined. I sometimes wore these with custom orthotics (loved the removable footbed feature), but I wouldn't rate them well for that purpose, due to the toe cap and the stiff, heavy sole. I'm going to try to fix the soles a bit with superglue, but this is not what I want to be doing with five-week-old shoes. And they're just not comfortable enough for me to want to wear that much. Unfortunately, I definitely will not be purchasing again. This is a big disappointment, since I love the retro look, the old brand name, and the canvas upper/rubber base.

I love the style, cushioning was good. Shoes are very narrow. With curvature was pinching toes. Tried a full size larger and still no joy. I liked them but unfortunately not for my feet.

Great looking shoes that were comfortable, but the heels of both shoes started squeaking the first day. Not sure if it's air getting trapped under the removable insole, or just friction from my heel. But it was annoying enough to return.

I love the vintage look. And I wear them on occasion. After about two hours they start to hurt my feet. They run very narrow. I have wide feet to begin with but I thought since they are unisex/men/women shoes I would be ok with the width but no, they rub against the outer side of my feet. I have tried different sock thicknesses to see if that would help but it does not. I have tried to break them in but they are just really tight and not very flexible when walking the soles are really stiff. If you have narrow feet they might be ok for you. They are really cute though.

Terrible design in the heel. When you walk your foot comes out at the heel because it is too low. Otherwise it is a comfortable shoe at a decent price.

Loved the look of these, but the forefoot was too narrow and the heel too wide. Not really shaped like the human foot, kind of straight. So sad to have to return them.

Not good for walking long distances. While these shoes are very cool looking they are not terribly comfortable for walking long distances. I bought these for a recent trip to Europe, wanting something comfortable but stylish; however, they rubbed blisters on the sides of my foot (at the base of the big and pinky toes) and on my heels. They are also a little narrow. They are good for causal everyday wear as long as you don't walk long distances.

Great look, too narrow - My foot is normal width, but these shoes are way too narrow in the toe box. The height of the toe box is also too short. I even tried going up a half size and they were still too tight. A full size up might have worked, but they were already too long at .5 size up, so I passed. A shame because they look great.
