Got these for my mom who is 70 but looks like she's so much younger. She loved how these looked and felt! They came in wide which provided a much better fit and comfort level. Check out the wider widths instead of going up a half size.

I love La Canadienne brand of boots. This is my second pair and I absolutely love them. I can wear them with jeans or skinnies and also with suit pants (boot cut of course). I can wear them all day and walk with absolute comfort and confidence. It has already started to snow here and I am loving these boots. I ordered a suede spray to protect it due to the negative review about these being a one season pair.

These boots are beautifully made. They are soft along the shaft without being scrunched. I'm 5'9" and bought 10 WW because I wanted to see of that was a better fit than the W. It is! The 10 might be the least bit long on me since my wide foot gets to spread out rather than push forward into the toe. Still, I don't think I'll go down 1/2 size. I will see if an orthotic will fit because the boot doesn't have super arch support. They fit around my ankles and lower calves, too. That's been a problem with other ankle boots because I broke my leg just above the ankle so that ankle is a bit bigger than the other. Many boots hit me in the front of the leg (shin) at the top of the boot, and especially if they are rigid, by the end of the day, they're uncomfortable as my ankles tend to be a little swollen by then. BTW, I think the circumference listed is incorrect. I believe they are larger than the measurement given in the information section. If you have skinny ankles, you may need to wear these exceptional boots with thick socks. I highly recommend them.

It's way too hot to wear these yet, but I sure look forward to when I can. These boots are both classy and comfortable. I just love the fur around the top! I can tell they will be my favorite.

These are extremely comfortable! I got those for my mother who has lots of feet problems and she is very pleased. She can walk in those for hours without getting pain. They are warm and look good with pants or with a skirt. I personally own few pairs of LaCanadienne boots and I love them! They are warm, stylish and most important very comfortable. They last a long time and retain their shape.

Stylish and very well made! Runs a little small, but the snug fit keeps my feet nice and warm. I did not have to size up. Love these!

Not narrow enough for me. Heel lifted up and no support in ankles. Tried with thick socks. Am sad because I love these boots.

I love these boots! I have narrow feet and most boots are now made too wide. I love the days when you could choose a width. They are stylish and not clumsy and look wonderful even with slim leather jeans/leggings.

I got these boots in advance of a trip to Paris over the holidays. They fit like a glove right out of the box and did not need breaking in. They looked so slender I was concerned that they wouldn't fit in the toe box, but I can even wear them with thick wool socks and a thin liner. I walked 8-10 miles a day in Paris and these boots were amazingly comfortable and warm even in 25 degree weather and some rain. I brushed them each night to restore the suede and they look as good now as they did when I got them this fall. The best compliment: a friend at work offered to buy them right off my feet! No deal. I love these boots. Expensive but worth it.

So far so good. Very chic and comfortable. It is pouring rain today, and my feet have been toasty and dry. They feel slightly large to me for a size 5, but I inserted an orthotic and that seems to help.

Great, great style and warmth. I have a wide foot and the 8.5 M was a little too close fitting. Unfortunately, the Wide is not in stock right now. When and if it is, I will be ordering that.

Hurrah for Zappos. You gave me great support finding these boots. I had bunion and hammer toe surgery and went back to orthotic shoe stores.The first insisted on Finn Comforts, a brand that runs narrow, the second was rude when I didn't buy badly fitting shoes. I tried Zappos and ordered three other boots before ordering Evitta. They are perfect for my feet and even more adorable than they look on the internet. They could use a little better arch support, but that's what orthotics are for. I wouldn't wear them on a long hiking trip, but they are so comfortable for everyday wear that I hate to take them off. Today was my first day wearing them in rainy, snowy weather. They still look fantastic. I just wish La Canadienne would make more EE width shoes.

These boots feel perfect, I had to get the exact fit, but once I did they are wonderful. Great service, they let me return a pair and order the right ones.

I am going to Europe for 10 days in December and wanted to get a good pair of weather-proof, stylish, comfortable boots now to break in. After reading reviews and watching videos, I decided to order the Evitta. They are really beautiful soft suede with a nice slightly square toe. Getting them out of the box yesterday, I was afraid they'd be too narrow in the toe box. My fears were completed unfounded. I have had them on all day as I have run errands and they fit like they were made for me. They feel like a true 8.5B, completely comfortable and they appear to be extremely well-made (which - for the price - is a must!). The biggest test my 30-year-old fashionista daughter loves them. Enough said!

I love these suede boots! These are my second pair of La Canadienne boots. I have very wide feet, and shoes often hurt -- not these.I love that they are available in WW. From the moment I put them on, they were like soft gloves. I took them to the mountains and they stayed warm and dry in the snow. Even so, they are very light. I recommend these as the go-to winter boot!

These are great boots. they are warm and water resistant. I wouldn't want to walk around in puddles all day but I recently slipped into about a foot of ice water and my feet stayed dry. I just had to wipe the boots off with a towel for them to be fully dry and restored.

Love these boots. I wish they also came in brown because I would buy them too. Have had mine for 2 California winters and they hold up nicely. I just brush them frequently with a suede brush and they are like new. Love the low key style of these and they are so comfortable I can wear them all day with no problem. I am thinking of getting another pair so when mine finally give out I won't be lost!

I ordered these boots for a trip to Europe over Christmas--they fit the bill perfectly! They were super comfortable, waterproof (for London) and warm. I highly recommend them. They were especially comfortable for a wide foot--no complaints on any day I wore them and we walked all day for miles.

La Canadienne are the best. I will never buy another brand of winter boot. Warm, sturdy, comfortable, stylish. This is my third pair. Well worth the investment!

I am very satisfied with these boots. They were slightly large (I am between sizes), but I put an orthodic in them and they fit perfectly. Warm and cute.

Best customer service. I ordered with expedited delivery, and UPS did not deliver as scheduled, because our street was closed due to construction. They refunded my shipping fees!

These boots are beautiful, but I had to return them. I chose them because I needed stylish but waterproof and warm boots; they fit that bill perfectly, but they are just too small. I already own a pair of La Canadiennes that are a bit too small for size 11 (when I wear them, my toes bump the front more than is comfortable), and I wanted to wear these with good socks, so I ordered a size 12. They were barely long enough. The real problem, though, is the width. Just too narrow. I normally can wear an 11B no problem. These definitely run small.

Nice boot, good fit, however, I ordered two short boots and decided the leather without fur more practical. I will keep the leather. Zappos you're the best.

I love these boots! I recently had foot surgery and I was looking for a shoe that would accommodate my slightly swollen healing foot (I thought I would have to buy 2 different sizes). These boots are so cute, comfortable, and the heel height is perfect. They fit comfortably - both feet.

Great boot! I've worn this for 5 years and it still looks new. I live in upper NY. Lots of snow/wet winters and this boot has kept my feet warm and dry. I wear a 7AA and the 7N was perfect with medium thick socks.
