The shoe was on the 40% mark down wall & when it rang up I was told it wasn't supposed to be there & was priced as marked - I didn't purchase these. Everything else I bought is great tho!

I really wanted to like these shoes. I love retro fashion. I am a tall woman with a size 12.5 foot, medium width. I ordered the men's 11.5. While my toes were not pushed against the end of the shoe, it felt very narrow. The worst part is that the shoes are heavy and clunky. They felt more like work boots than a casual sneaker. They make a lot of noise when walking on a hard surface, and have very thick heels. My husband measured me wearing the shoes, and without. These shoes made me a full inch taller!

Danger! Danger! The sole is high and rolling your ankle is a constant threat. I should have recognized this and dumped my pair. But I kept wearing them and now I have a sprained foot. Go with the lower-slung Samba model. Avoid the Samoa -- or buy mine used; I'm finally dumping them!

Obviously this pair of shoes had to be the last pair left in my size because it had major defects. What I don't understand is why would someone attempt to sale them to anybody in the condition they were in. Not happy about that at all because I was excited about my purchase until they arrived.

They are too large and I could have sized down. It would have been nice if that was made known at the time of purchase

VERY narrow! I buy Adidas because they are normally wider. Length is fine but too uncomfortable to wear. Disappointed.

I've learned the hard way...when it comes to unisex shoes, not the case...women's feet are different than men's..at least in my case..everytime I bought "unisex" they are too big..had to return the unisex Samoas & exchange for strictly women's sizes..for some reason the heel of the foot is bigger in men's shoes, just like their shirt sleeves are cut longer, etc. It's a shame since there's always a larger choice in men's sneakers.

I love the Samoa sneaker I purchased from Zappos. The fit was perfect and the color is perfect. I would definitely recommend doing business with them again and the overnight delivery is the best. I purchased a pair of Fit Flops and the North Face boot as well and I am very satisfied with the service I received. I'm always checking the website to see what else I may see to have delivered to me overnight and the return service is excellent as well because you have one year to return the item/s and it's as easy as it was when you ordered.
I'd also recommend:

Basically these shoes are lousy. They provide excellent support, but are everything hated about wingtips stuffed into a trendy, but very uncomfortable, sneaker. The sole is a thick hunk of barely flexible rubber that makes it difficult to flex at the balls of the feet and is very narrow. This made me feel like I'd roll my ankle at any moment and provided great shooting pains in my knees with each step. I guess I have a very wide stride or something.
After wearing them for four days to break them in I'm going to keep browsing and writing this pair off as a moderately priced mistake. That's the last time I buy for trendy looks.
