Retro Review - Service from Zappos is excellent as usual. Shoe seemed narrower than it did in the available pictures, although it has broken in nicely. Cushioning isn't very good and the insole is not removable for anyone using orthotics. I do, but since the insole is super thin with little cushioning at all, I wear the orthotic over the top and it doesn't cause any discomfort. The midsole offers very, very average cushioning. This shoe is stylish and goes well with denim or khaki type pants. Due to the long tongue, I wouldn't wear them with shorts. This isn't a shoe to wear to work, if the job requires you to be on your feet for 8 or more hours in a row because it offers very little support and cushioning, however, if this is a shoe you're wearing out and about and will spend more time sitting down than on your feet, give them a twirl.

Cool! I have had my eye on these sneakers for the longest time and am happy they finally had my size in inventory. They are comfortable from the very first day of wearing them. The only detail I wish it didn't have the Samoa name on the side w/the stripes but it's really not a huge deterrent from purchasing them. Very pleased!

Cute but stiff - These shoes look very cute but could use more cushioning and a more flexible heel. The heels on these are a little on the stiff side, so watch out for your Achilles tendons.

Delightful experience - The shoe is great. The only problem I have is a little discomfort with the width. I suggest you buy either a half size bigger or a whole size bigger to accommodate your feet. Overall, great shoe.

These shoes look great and are very light weight. They are pretty narrow and don’t have great support, but they seem to be very casual and not meant for athletics, so in that area they do not disappoint.

Always a sure bet! I love these shoes...I had pair after pair of the Somoas and I always come back. A little narrow feeling at first but leather stretches nicely. I did have to order a size larger but not because of the shoe - only I was thinking that because it was a tennis shoe I should order a size smaller than my regular shoe size.

Cool look - I love the look of these shoes, but comfort wise, they are not quite as comfortable as a running or walking shoe like New Balance or some others. I wear these to school all the time, but wouldn’t want to run around in them. They stay clean and look great.

Samoa - Cute and great Arch Support - You can successfully wear this shoe if you need a good arch support for heel or foot pain. I can wear this as an alternative to Danskos when I want a casual shoe.

Happy with the Samoa LE - This is one pair of shoes that I would recommend to anyone who loves the old school Adidas look. They fit quite well for me, but for those who need a lot of arch support should invest in Dr. Scholl's. If you really like this shoe, be sure to order as soon as possible because it seems that the colors are very limited these days. I have the white with black stripes. My original choice was the white with Carolina blue which was out of stock. My next choice was white with wheat, which also happened to be out of stock. If you want a great shoe at a great price, then look no further than Zappos. They offer free next day shipping.

Like 'em, don't love 'em - I really, really like the look of these shoes. I rate the comfort a little lower because they are pretty narrow, which I believe Adidas is kind of known for, but I'm going to stick with them anyway. If you don't have a wider foot then I think you'll love them.

Couldn't squeeze into the Samba so I got these - Tried the Adidas Samba but it was too narrow for my extra-wide, size 14 feet. Got these instead. Just barely enough width in the front.

The whole process of ordering my shoes was very easy. They were delivered on time as promised but when I opened the box the suede on the tip of one shoe was totally discarded, almost greyish in color. I'm very disappointed in my purchase and would think twice about ordering any item through the internet.

I liked the style of these shoes, but just could not get comfortable in them. Heel is too high and shoe is at least a half size bigger than marked. Developed some blisters, which is not usual for me.

Not for flat/wide feet. It's an 'ok' shoe. The product is somewhat comfortable, but after being on your feet for 8 hours a day, after about a week or two, I started to feel it. I have flat/wide feet so this shoe really doesn't suit me.. Another drawback is the tongue on the left shoe ALWAYS ends up crooked, and it scrunches up on my big toe, causing pain sometimes.

I have loved Adidas since I was a kid, and have never turned my back on their "Originals" line. Their shoes have always been well made, sharp looking, and comfortable. But, I have to admit, the Sambas were the first pair that have done me wrong. The heel and arch are both solid, but the toe is just too narrow for a comfortable fit. If you cannot live without having these good looking shoes in your arsenal, maybe try a half size larger or know you have toes!

It's a decent shoe, but nothing special. I needed an all black sneaker for work, liked the classic black and white version, and typically love everything Adidas. It took a few weeks to get them broken. I was a little disappointed, but having never owned this style shoe before, I don't know if this is just how the style feels, or if this version is sub-par to the original.

I love this shoe and couldn't find it at any local store for women. Unfortunately, when I received the shoe it was damaged. It has a small dig like hole in the leather of the right front, that was really disappointing.
