I purchased the Adidas Samoa original for my 22 year old son at his request. What can you say about a classic? These are classic sneakers for a reason. They are functional and great looking.

I love Samoas! They fit so perfect, they are super comfortable. I have them in nearly ever color, its too bad Zappos doesn't always have them in stock.

This shoe is as nice as the shoes I bought years ago. Same great look and quality. Wears well with denim, sweats, skirts and dresses.

I've always been a fan of the Samoa's and they're just timeless even in today's evolving fashion. Whether in a pair of chinos and knit sweater or just jeans and t-shirt, not only does my son look good, it's his go-to pair of shoes.

The first thing I noticed with these shoes right out of the box is just how flashy they really are. Though the red sole being mostly invisible throughout the day helps to tone it down, if flashy isn't your thing. The only qualm I may register is that during the break in period, the shoe will make noise whilst you walk. This is mostly due to the inner heel of the shoe rubbing/sliding against the heel of your foot and sock. This goes away after a few wears though, or maybe it doesn't and you just get used to it.

Adidas are always the greatest. Long lasting construction and classic styling, both built to last the test of time!

Okay, my final thoughts on the Samoa. I purchased Superfeet Blue insoles for these shoes, trimmed them according to instructions and they fit perfectly. I picked the Blue as not to add more volume. It seems the Blue insoles work in my other shoes as well! Wish I would have found these years ago.

This is a follow up review of the Samoa. Took a long walk and ended up with a blister on the ball of my right foot. Seems the insole has some what of a rough surface. I removed them and am going to insert diferent ones. The thing was glued in, so it took some finese and a wood chisel to scrape it out.I wish they wouldn\'t glue these things in. Other than that, I still like the shoe.

Love these shoes, very comfortable. I chose the free shipping and got them the next day, no joke! Very satisfied customer.

They\'re good-looking, and have the Adidas "feel" to them, that my feet remember from my first pair of Adidas Specials ($12)I bought when I ran cross-country in high school. \r\n\r\nThat was 35 years ago, so I don\'t resent 2010\'s price for an affordable, comfortable pair of knock-arounds.

I love these shoes. I have been looking for them for about a year. Zappos is an amazing company they upgrade my shipment to next day for free. This is good customer service. I will keep buying from Zappos.

Been looking for a pair of these bad boys for ages, Zappos had them in my hands right away. The first pair I ordered didn't fit, I returned them and got my new pair overnight before they had even received my old ones. Now that is customer service.

I love these shoes! They look great with jeans and a tee. Sizes run small but overall these are some great shoes. Lots of kudos from friends and family. A must!

They\'re comfortable, fit well, look good and are lightweight. I\'m very happy and will purchase another pair in a different color in the future.

Best old school kicks to date - I find that these are made much better than Puma or the retro Asics. Many retro sneakers have "no make" or support. While I wouldn’t run a marathon in these or use them at the gym they are very comfortable to wear to the office with Khakis, dress pants and Jeans. I wish they came in more colors. They are more comfortable than the samba and are very true to size.

Awesome - This is a great pair of shoes. Very comfortable and make my feet look smaller. Zappos even upgraded my shipping from standard to next day free of charge. :)

Steppin on a cloud - These shoes are awesome! I love how soft and comfy they feel on my feet! A definite two thumbs up! :D

I rock these shoes for work and play! I have to wear nicer black shoes for work and these just are the perfect fit, been rockin the Samoa style for so many years and these black ones round out my collection. I love adidas the most!

It's what it claims - I would order from Zappos again. They live up to their claims. I was very pleased with my purchase and would do so again in the near future. Thanks to all the people who made my purchase a pleasure.

Very comfortable - Great shoes very comfortable. They fit like a glove and are true to size. I enjoy Adidas shoes and this is another pair I can add to my list. I have been wearing Adidas and other brands since I was about thirteen and I’m thirty now. Adidas is definitely at the top of my list when it comes to shoes.

Adidas Samoas are the BEST! This is my fourth pair of Samoas and I was thrilled to see that adidas was making them again and that Zappos was carrying them! They're comfortable and look great with jeans, shorts, casual skirts…everything! My Samoas have traveled with me to Boston, Portland, New York, Berlin, Chicago, and more, and they always look and feel great! I'd highly recommend these shoes!!!

Love the shoes!!! I love these shoes! I keep trying to find the Sambas in my size with no luck, so I went with the Samoa's. So glad I did, these shoes offer great support and they look great. No rubbing on the heel, no rubbing on the tongue (which is shorter than that of the Adidas Gazelle). All around great shoe. It took no time at all to 'wear in' to my own foot contours. Like it was made for me!

Love the Samoa - This is my third pair of Samoa’s and I plan on getting another when these wear thin. First time you put them on, they feel a bit odd. But they break in well and can be dressed up or down.
