Wish they were as comfortable as they looked... I love, love these shoes. But my left foot doesn't. I tried them on at home, wore them on carpet for a day as recommended. They were snug but comfortable and stable - until I wore them a full day at the office. The left shoe is just too snug and the leather is just too firm to give enough for them to be comfortable. I'm stuck with them now as they look obviously worn but they just don't fit. But it took me awhile to figure it out. I'd only by this shoe if you have a narrow foot.

Beautiful, but not comfortable - They are absolutely beautiful; however, the price I paid is my comfort. The first day I wore them, my leg muscles and my toes hurt. A little better than Dansko Bridget, but not by much.

Hurts like hell! First, I tried these on extensively around the house. Ordered a 39, then a 40. At first, no pain, decent with skirts, and good (eggplant) color. But when I wore them outside I got blisters not only on the far outside toe joints (where little toe meets foot) but on the ankle strap too. I have no choice but to keep them and hope that they'll break in. However, I got them because they have arch support and my plantar fasciitis actually doesn't bother me when I wear them! If they break in we may have a happy ending, but the initial outside wearing brought tears to my eyes and blisters to my feet! I find the reviews valuable and Zappos shipping and customer service is always excellent.

Okay looking, but VERY uncomfortable - I bought these to look professional at a 3-day conference at which I had to stand for hours at a time. I have had them now over a year, and I still have not been able to break them in. The sizing is odd, my foot slips forward, and I get the same pain in the ball of my foot as previously mentioned. I too have high arches, and there seems to be no arch support. The design of these shoes is a mistake. Dansko should not sell them.

Cute but hurtful - These shoes have a clean comfortable look, but don't let that fool you; they are murder on your feet. The first time I wore them I had blisters on my heels and I only wore them 4 hours. The second time I wore them weeks later after the blisters healed I couldn't wait to get home and take them off. These are definitely not worth the price.

I think that this is the most beautiful Dansko shoe ever, esp. in the black suede...and if the darn thing fit; I'd never get another style, it's that gorgeous. Alas, I have wide feet, and my feet could barely slide in without pain and pinching, esp. on the foot that had bunion surgery. I even got them in a larger size, but it didn't matter. Sadly, I have to return them...for another pair of Regina's. Those are fabulous for my feet.

Looks great, fit is mediocre - Could not be a cuter look! My fiancé said I had to get them when I was wavering over the price. BUT: the first day I got terrible blisters on the toes and heel and the balls of my feet ached. I figured I had to break it in slowly, so I put the time into it-- no luck, and now I have very expensive shoes I can't return! Also, the ankle straps are slightly different sizes, so one bites in and the other is fine. I appreciate the try by Dansko, really I do-- but for the price, get a normal pair of shoes and put in those Dr. Scholl's clear ball-of-foot cushions. Save money, save pain, and you can wear whatever.

I am a physician and am on my feet all day. I normally wear Dansko clogs in the hospital- and love them. However, I have been on the hunt for a couple of years for a dressy, comfortable closed toed shoe that I could wear for clinic days. I had high hopes for the Roxy shoe, but after only a few hours of wear, and not even very active wear, I had blisters on my heels. I limped home. The search continues...

I loved the look of this shoe. Tried other Dansko styles but they looked clunky and wanted something dressier for work. I had a lot of confidence in Dansko because of their reputation but after wearing these at work today, regretted spending the high price for a shoe that was this uncomfortable. I would not recommend these for anyone that has to be on their feet consistently.

I just love the prospect of having a shoe with a bit of a dressy heel look to it, but comfortable. Well, my hopes were not fulfilled. Although the shoes were plenty big, the side edge cuts right into the part of my little toes where they join my foot. And that hurts like crazy. I couldn't wear the shoe for 5 minutes to try them on. Too bad!

Dansko roxy - When I first put the shoe on, it felt comfortable. However, as the work day went on my feet became sore- I felt like my foot was trying to slide forward. I also developed a blister at the strap.

These are no good - I am a Dansko lover, but these shoes are no good. I ordered a 39 and 40, and both shoes instantly started scraping at the side of my pinkie toes. For me Danskos are usually comfortable with no breaking in period and are great for my problem feet, but these are not the ones. Oh and on top of that they look like big granny shoes. Not at all flattering.

Dansko is OPPOSITE of what they advertise - I read MANY positive reviews on Dansko. How they fit well, are comfortable for walking in the office and around the office, and if you had foot problems, they would be a great shoe. Also, what you pay is what you get. I figured with the great reviews and the $$$ price of the shoes that it would be a great product. NOT!!! I bought 4 different pairs of Dansko, which totaled my bill to well over $500. After 3 months walking around in them for 8 hours a day (I am also switching back and fourth between the 4 pairs of shoes for different outfits), MY FEET HURT, MY LEGS/BACK… everything on my person was in pain. I work for a building company and I am ALWAYS on my feet, but you must look good always. I rarely sit. DANSKO is terrible!!! Now I have 4 pairs of cute shoes just sitting in my closet. I will not recommend DANSKO. I give DANSKO - ZEROs - over priced for NOTHING, terrible product.
