Nice looking "orthopedic" shoe - Generally, this is a good shoe. It looks very nice for a shoe that's designed for heavy duty wear. The only problem is that, in the pair I bought, some stitching on the inside strap of one shoe ends in a very sharp point, and digs into my foot. Very painful, but fixable with a band-aid.

Two pairs, same size, different fit - So first I bought this shoe in brown. Loved it. Aside from a bit of tightness in one shoe (which loosened up after a day of wear), I found these to be extremely comfortable, so I ordered them in black, same size 39. Much to my chagrin, the second pair seemed to have been made on a completely different width scale--the front part of the shoes cuts into my foot in the most painful way. Still wearing them around the house, not sure whether I'll keep them, but they do seem to be loosening up a bit. These are really attractive shoes, so if you don't have wide feet, I highly recommend them.

Should be more comfortable - These shoes are very cute and versatile for work, but I would expect them to be more comfortable. By the end of a 5-hour shift the balls of my feet were sore and I had a blister on my heel. I had to put insoles in these to make them work better.

Good blend of dress and comfort - I need comfort because work and walk all day in a city. This shoe is nice looking, not too heavy, and fairly dressy for the comfort level. But they are a little 'tippy'--to be fair, I'm 5'9" and wear size 9.5. I'm happy Dansko is trying to engineer an arch support into this dress shoe, but for my foot, it still doesn't actually hit the arch (and I don't have high arches), so I view it as more of a stabilizer for when your arch finally falls after standing a long time. After wearing Roxy all day with tights, some of my toes felt a little raw in spots, but there were no blisters. Maybe they'll soften or something. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase but still on my mission for the perfect comfort dress shoe.

No bare feet! I bought these shoes for work, and have been very happy with them. Although I don't have a job that requires a lot of standing, they are so comfortable that I can even go dancing in them! One warning - you MUST wear nylons with these. I went barefoot in them one day and got the worst blisters of my life ALL over my feet. If it had been allowed, I would have ripped them off and gone barefoot. Torturous without nylons!

Roxys Rock - Dansko Roxys stay with you on the dance floor while providing elegant comfort. Ankle-straps prevent slippage. Treads are non-marking and let you spin on dance floors. The only thing that would make this shoe better is if they came in a variety of widths instead of just "regular."

Lookin' good! Comfortable to walk in, attractive to wear. You do have to undo the strap to get in and out.

Dansko Roxy - I really like the style of this shoe and it does fit true to size, however, I feel as if my foot is going to roll over and out of the shoe when I walk. This is not a stable shoe for walking at least not for me.

Roxy - This shoe is cute for dresses, skirts and pants; however, it certainly does not have the support that the other Dansko clog type shoes and sandals have.

Roxy ok, not as comfy as other Dansko shoes - Beautiful, well-made shoe, but the toe box lacks typical Dansko platform that adds to comfort. I teach for a living and have to stand on concrete floors. I was hoping for a little more spring in the toe box.

Good, not great - I recently had to mend my slip-on ways, and find shoes that attach firmly to my feet. Nine tries later, this is the brown 'skirt' shoe I bought. I do like it - it's a Dansko, so it is comfortable. It is also pretty cute on. The two minor complaints: 1) I have VERY wide feet (at least, in the toe box). When I'm standing, the toes are wide enough. When I'm sitting, I feel a little pinched. Still, not enough to warrant returning the shoes; 2) the ankle strap gaps a little bit, causing the shoe to look, in some foot positions, like it doesn't quite fit. Still, a good shoe and one I'll wear often...

Dansko Roxy not for Servers! I love my Dansko Professionals clogs, but needed a more attractive shoe for waitressing. Based on the positive reviews I read, I went ahead and ordered these. Big mistake! Within hours my toes and heels were blistered and swollen. I could barely walk in these. I love Danskos, but do not recommend the Roxy if you are a server in a fast-paced restaurant. The heel made my feet slide forward and my toes felt crushed. I ordered the Marcelle's instead. Not nearly as cute, but more practical. The Roxy’s are cute, and I'm sure they are comfortable if you don't run around so much... but I do not recommend them to people in the service industry.

Dansko 'Roxy' I so wished that this shoe fit me, as the style and appearance are so beautiful and elegant. But if you have wide feet (9W) then these might not be the shoes for you. They hurt me so much that I couldn't keep them on. I had bunion surgery some years ago, so perhaps that didn't help with this shoes narrow width. I was so upset with my big feet! I would have bought them in every color if they were as great on my feet as they looked in the pictures.

Dansko Roxy - I love the look of this shoe. It is fairly comfortable for a dress shoe. I don't think I could wear them all day. I have problems with my toes and need a roomy toe box. Otherwise I think they are really cute and I like them well enough I won't return them.

I don't know why, but this shoe just didn't do it for me... I love Danskos, and based on all the positive reviews decided to order the Roxy, even though the price is a bit steep. I needed shoes to go with my suit that would be comfortable enough to walk in throughout the day. Maybe it's the fact that I had to get them in black, but they just weren't that cute for me. The toe is too pointy, and I’m not crazy about the "croc" leather trim (it also made the strap across the ankle tough, and it seemed that it would give me blisters, were I actually to wear it). Of course, it's still much more comfortable than any other dress shoe on the market, and I found that the heel didn't feel high at all. If this shoe doesn't work for you, I recommend trying a pair of Dansko Babette- they're also dressy, but more comfortable and cute.

Caution: Wear for limited amounts of time... Finally, a Dansko with some style. I just hope they get broken in soon so I can wear them more than a couple of hours at a time... I am a loyal Dansko wearer, 15 pairs in my closet!

Nice looking but... OUCH! I wear a lot of Dansko clogs, and was looking for something comfortable, but a bit dressier. I had high hopes for this shoe based on my previous Dansko experience, as well as the majority of the reviews. Unfortunately, this shoe, while okay looking, caused a whole slew of boo-boos on my feet. In the morning, they fit fine, but by the end of the day, my feet were spilling out the outside of the toe box; I had developed a blister on my right heel and my left big toe (maybe I should have worn them with hose, but I've never had to wear hose with Danskos before). I'll keep trying to wear them, just not for a whole day; hopefully they'll get broken in eventually. They do look dressy, but really aren't as cute as I had hoped. A bit of a disappointment for the high price.

Not what I hoped for :( I absolutely love all my other Dansko shoes, but have found these to be very uncomfortable after only standing in them for an hour.

Cute but uncomfortable - I love the look of this shoe! Unfortunately, I can't wear it for more than a few hours without my feet screaming in pain. The leather doesn't really give, and my toes rub up against the strip of leather across the top. Also, the leather seemed to scuff very easily.

Not like my other Danskos... I have MANY pairs of Danskos and in all different styles (clogs, shoes, sandals) and I love them all except for this one. I have problem feet but this pair is my only pair of Danskos that hurt. I have narrow feet with a high arch, and somehow when I walk only my heel and forefoot are supported by the shoe and I get excruciating pain in the ball of feet. It sounds like these shoes work well for people who don't have problem feet, but I would recommend that you make sure that these shoes support your entire foot before you decide to keep them. They are very cute and I continue to wear them, but have to bring another pair with me and change shoes after about 2 hours.

Disappointed - This was my first pair of Danskos, and after reading the reviews I thought they would bridge that gap between cute and comfy. By the end of the day, my small bunions and ball of my feet hurt. I'll probably give Dansko another try, but am really happy with my Birks as of late.

Should have been more comfy than they are... These shoes are cute but are cut more narrow than typical Danskos...I should know I own 8 pairs! The stitching in one shoe is constantly chafing against my foot and they start to hurt pretty fast...I have wide feet but still... I was disappointed but have kept them for special occasions when a lot of standing is not required.

Dansko Roxy - I was looking for a shoe that is comfortable, supportive and dressy. This looked like the one, since I own quite a few pairs of Danskos. They do look great, but, they are cut too low and hit my bunion in the wrong place on one foot. I wish they were just a little wider, also.

Pretty but Heavy - I am looking for comfortable, light, pretty shoes with a bit of heels. I wanted it to wear to work, walk around and etc. Unfortunately, Roxy is too heavy to be a comfortable, normal walking shoe. In fact, my ankles were sore after just walking inside the house for few hours. Too bad since the color (Raisin Calf) is just beautiful...

Let down - After wearing them for just a few hours I had blisters on my feet. Felt very let down, as the only reason I bought these shoes was to get a comfortable pair of working shoes. Had no alternative but to return them.
