My Naots are several years old. Pictures of this newer model looked very similar, but the adjustment straps seemed longer. (With wide feet, I need more "adjustment.") The new sandals were wonderfully comfortable with great arch support - just like my old Naots. But the longer straps made little difference: it all depends on how the Velcro closure is positioned. (A competent cobbler could probably fix this, and I made take that route.) But there's a new wrinkle to the new sandals. The back strap is about 1/2 in wider. I've no idea why they did this. It's uncomfortable at the back of my ankle, and the wider strap often tugs at the hem of my slacks. Some will not be bothered by any of this, but I'm back to wearing my old Naots - and my Keens.

Wow is all I can say. Were did the quality go. I have own a pair of your wonderful shoes for a long time but this pair does not equate to those shoes that I have owned in the past. The insole is not as comfortable and the exterior of the shoe would be fine at some price point but not the price I paid. I did see improvements in the sole design with the add flexibility at the ball of the foot. Did you make changes to the insole design?

I was pleased with the willingness of Zappos staff to help me find a couple of pairs of Sandals. I am disabled and wear my sandals most of the time. Since Clarks quit making a decent men's sandal I have been using the Naot. The last time I purchased was considerably higher than Zappos who was willing to assist me in affordably purchasing another pair. My only wish is they would provide a slightly larger than D width. However, I still have my worn-out set to trade the foot-beds with and finally get a good stretch and comfortable feel. After a couple of weeks alternating the foot-beds I was able to get a little more comfort. Zappos has responded to my wishes and sent me offers on EE footwear but I think they would be just a little too wide for comfort. Thank you Zappos for making an old soldier feel included and like family.

Sandal review rave - My husband has never been a sandal wearer. He had a pair, wore them when sneakers were not appropriate, but the minute they gave him a problem, I found them in the garbage! I saw the Naot Lappland on my boss, complimented them, and he proceeded to tell me all about how comfortable they were, etc. I immediately went on line, found Zappos and ordered a pair since Father's Day was just around the corner. They arrived the next day!! My husband has had them on almost every day since! That's a rave review in itself!

My wife owns three pair of Naots and she really likes them. She told me they are the most comfortable sandals she has ever worn. Based on this I purchased a pair. The footbed is really comfortable, they are well made and look good. Unfortunately the straps really hurt. I get blisters on my little toe, both feet. I have tried every adjustment and nothing works. I can't wait to get them off. They are expensive for sandals and just don't work for me.

The upper strap on these sandals is not padded and dug into my foot, very uncomfortable. However I cut a piece of Dr. Scholl's adhesive foam padding and stuck it to the underside of the top straps for padding and now they are very comfortable. They are the only pair of sandals I found with a removable insole which I needed so I could use an orthodic insole.

The footwear is extremely comfortable and required no break in time. I have only had them for 4 week and i love them.

Sandals were exactly as pictured on there site. I love them. Great company to order from. In fact, I ordered some other shoes too.

The sandals fit very well and provide both the support and comfort that I was looking for. I find the velcro closure easy-in, easy-out. The price is rather steep and I hope that the sandals retain a long life to justify the cost.

My husband is very particular about footwear. He loves this sandal and wears it daily. This is his 3rd pair and I'm hoping this style continues to be available. It's durable and still looks good when it's time to replace.

These are terrific--comfortable out of the box, cushioned but not squishy, don\'t shift when you walk.

My husband bought a pair of these years ago and finally decided that they were wearing out. We could not find them (in the right color). They wear like iron, and are nice enough to wear with slacks.

Nice overall - Like them, but the foot pad insole needed to be replaced after the first year. Will buy another one when the sole goes.

The best I've ever worn - I bought these four summers ago, intending to wear them for the summer. They are so great I wear them year-round (sometimes with heavy wool socks), except for the coldest days. Then I went for a doctor's visit, and he told me that they were good for my feet, and to keep on wearing them. They're still comfortable, looking slightly worn now, but I intend to buy more Naot's when they expire.

Really supportive and comfortable sandal - I am female and have a size 13 shoe and am always looking for dainty looking shoes - this isn't exactly dainty but honestly it is truly the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn. Ever since I tried it on I've been wearing it - nothing else I own is anywhere near as comfortable. And while it isn't exactly dainty - its daintier than other sandals I've owned - especially men's sandals. Overall I'm really happy and most of all, my feet are happy.

great support and comfort - I walked into a shoestore and wear a woman's size 13 - even though these are for men once I put them on I haven't wanted to wear anything else - they feel so supportive and while my feet are never dainty looking, the round toe is a nice look for me. I LOVE these sandals and now I want to look into other NAOT shoes - they are built for durability and comfort.

Heel Problem - The strap acrtoss the heel of this shoe is rather high for me. It has caused a blister.

most comfortable sandal This sandal felt broken in and very comfortable at first wearing.My natural shoe size is 10.5 EEE and this sandle does not rub in any manner.I highly recommend this sandal.No breaking in time, just slip on and go!!.

Too large and the forward edge of the front fastener rubbed the tops of my toes raw.

Front strap can be irritating until you get used to it. Prices are a little better than competitors.

This is my second pair of these sandals. I've found them extremely comfortable. Durability may be the weak side however with a loose thread on my current pair showing up after only a few weeks.

I bought these for my husband, he loves the comfort! His last pair of Naot sandals lasted years, he says they're the only sandals that don't make his feet sweat, go figure.

Wow, look at my toes in these sandals. The fit is perfect, style is contemporary with a scent of the traditional, and the feel is extraordinary, soft as a freshly shaved armpit. Pricey, but they are worth every penny.
