Wonderful sandals with great support, even with orthotics. Highly recommended.

Couldn't really try on this sandal. The front strap is so low that I had to adjust it almost all the way to the end of the adjustment range. This is the 2nd try for the Lappland. (The first one had a smaller upper fastened to the size 44 sole. In my opinion Naot has serious QC issues.) Just because one Naot fits you well does not ensure that another will. I love their Electric sandal where the straps are plenty long enough.

These are really bad sandals. I only wore them during the summer, and they only lasted a little over 2 summers. The Velcro has worn out so it always flops open while walking. Its a real pain to keep the Velcro secured. I don't know why the call it Lappland because they are made in Israel. I'm throwing these away at the end of the summer.

I have been trying for years to find a quality backup / replacement of a Naot sandal that I love. That particular sandal is no longer made, so I tried the Lappland. I could not believe how short the straps across the bridge and front ankle of the sandal were. I ordered both sizes 47 and 48. The 47 was too short, but both had this strap problem. I could barely get either of these two straps to velcro down. There should have been at least an inch or more length in the straps. My feet are normal for their length, but the straps were for a foot half the size of mine.

I had a pair of Naots that I would go hiking in for years. I had many happy 5 mile hikes on trails and hills all over, and I was in need of a new pair of hiking sandles. When I first tried these on (with socks), I was like "wow, they are comfortable with padded soles," but then I took my first step, and realized they failed to add any fabric or any material under the top buckle near the inside arch of the shoe. The huge plastic rectangular buckle digs right into my feet, right through the socks. I loosened the top up some to see if helped, but then they look sloppy. The buckle is made of plastic and has a sharp edge that faces the foot on both of the right and the left shoes. I'm shocked at the lack of product appraisal and inspection for these shoes prior to getting these out to market. They are designed to be plain and that's ok, but they missed an opportunity to add a little slyle to them that would have made them more appealing as well. But the cheap plastic buckles really shocked me, with unfinished edges, and absolutely no protection between the shoe and your feet on the upper strap. These need to be redesigned. I can't even wear them without socks or out of the house. My feet would be bloodied if I did. That's too bad, as I loved my previous pair of Naots for hiking that I had for so long and wore out (in a different style). I like hiking summers in hiking sandals instead of closed toe hiking shoes in order to stay cooler. Guess I have to keep looking. I didn't buy these on Zappos this time, but wanted to warn others.

Great Sandel, great color

This my 4th pair of this style of Naot sandals. They are the most comfortable, reliable and true to size that I’ve ever had. I have foot neuropathy and these sandals are the best foot wear for this issue.

My husband typically doesn’t like wearing sandals - there’s always a strap or buckle rubbing uncomfortably on his ankles or heels, or his feet slide out of them while he’s walking. But he LOVES these Naots! They are super-cushiony and feel very secure on his feet, due to the two adjustable top straps and additional heel strap. Plus, you can dress them up or down since they are a very nice leather. The workmanship and quality of these sandals is very impressive – we will definitely buy Naot shoes again! As for sizing, they seem to run small. My husband typically wears a men’s US 11.5 or 12, so we initially bought an 11 (EU 44) and 12 (EU 45). The 11 was way too small and the 12 was still a smidge too small, so we had to go up to the 13 (EU 46), which fit him perfectly.

I bought these for my husband and he says they are the most comfortable sandals he's ever worn. Well made, nice in black, true to size. A winner@

Bought these sandals as a birthday present for my husband. He loved them. Noat is a great brand (I have several myself) and they are so comfortable.

Excellent! Exactly what was desired. A beautiful product Found the solution to the negative review on Google about shorter straps; This was easily resolved by first inserting heel all the way to the back of the sandal. Highest quality item.

I was worried consider I wear a size 15, but they are unbelievably comfortable. I am suggesting this to my wife for her sandals.

Great sandal ... These are the second pair and I am qually pleased with them.

My husband lives in this shoe. It is comfortable and suited to Florida's warm climate. It also provides the support necessary to avoid back and knee pain.

The fit and size are just what I need for a narrow foot and high arch. These are the third pair I've owned and was very pleased I could still get them. I get about ten years out of each pair and wear them constantly in the summer. Regarding comfort, the new ones need a little breaking in.

Had my first pair about 8 years. Only got rid of them because they got left outside and got started to grow mold. Best pair of sandals I have ever had. Wife had a pair too. $150 is nothing when amortized over 8 years. Buy junk again and again or quality once.

This is my 5th pair of Lapplands! I wear this sandal everyday, because they look great, are extremely well made, and are very comfortable. Over the past several years, I've only worn out two pair. I current have three active pair. One old pair I kept for dirty jobs around the house, and two for everyday indoor and outdoor wear - one black and one brown. Note, I favor the brown (Buffalo) sandals, because the black ones are dyed.

The most durable as well as comfortable sandals I have ever worn. Ideal for wearing while performing peripatetic physics calculations.

i have had these sandals over 10 years and replace the footbed about every other year,When i go to disney world and walk all day and night my feet never hurt.When you change the foot bed its like buying a new pair of sandals.They are truly the best sandal's i have ever owned.If you think the footbeds are a little priceyaround50$its a very small price to pay for extreme support,comfort and painless legs!!Please treat yourself buy a pair and experience comfort like you have never imagined was possible!!

Had to exchange for one size up from a retired set of sandals 10 years old. I think naot revamped sizing. Other than that, quality unchanged. Pricey, but excellent.

These are my all time favorite sandals. My first pair finally wore out after 13 years of wear. They are exceedingly comfortable and obviously well made. Definately worth the price.

This is my second pair of Naot "Lappland" sandals. I still have my first pair, purchased some 10 years ago. I replaced the inner support cork-and-suede of my first pair two times since I bought my first pair. I find the sandals to be supremely comfortable and tough as a tank. Not the most elegant design, but exceptional practical and very good value for the price.

These are comfortable and durable sandals. This is the second pair that I have bought. I have worn my first pair daily, April through September for four years now. They are still going strong. I bought this second pair for the day that my first pair inevitably wear out. Though honestly they look good and probably have a couple more years of wear! I wear custom orthotics and these sandals have a fully removable footbed. (Which on its own, is very comfortable) Naot is a great brand at a great price.

After many years, my favorite sandals bit the dust, but were no longer made, so I shopped and bought these based on reviews. They are great. Just what I was looking for. As compared with other "similar" sandals, I'd say these are for casual walking - not like Tevas which hold to your foot more for athletic activities such as climbing, walking across a creek, or a little running. The footbed looks to be very strong, durable, and likely will last forever. I bought the competitive product from Mephisto and I'm going to keep both and see which one is better.
