The shoes are comfortable but they make noise after you've worn them for a little while. Annoying if you work in an office but would be fine outdoors or in a noisy area.

Good shoe... However the inner footbed lining is not removable. With orthotic inserts it is hard to get the size right.

I purchased these shoes for casual wear. They are nice looking and appeared to be able to dress up or down. However, they are not as great a fit as the Meltonians I also purchased prior. They seem much wider and not as well cushioned.

Iam a type-2 diabetic. The product looks good, the cushion is excellent, especially for diabetics. It just needsto be a little lighter and come in widths that will accomodate people with wide feet such as I have. This wold be a best seller with diabetics a new market for your company!! I wore the shoe to my board meeting and was complimented on the look and how it did not look bad at all as I was wearing a suite and tie. Tweak the shoe and it will rock your sales.

I love the look and feel of the shoe but it has a squeak with every step. it is very annoying.

Usually casual - these are my fourth pair of identical shoes (other than color). The first (tan #1) bought in the San Francisco store split down the heel stitching - wasreplaced in another city store (#2). Another pair recently obtained online (black #3 -this pair) has tongue that is too short on each shoe. The fourth pair again obtained very recently online (brown #4) is perfect!

These are too expensive for their quality. I have other J&M shoes that are about 10 years old and great, but I'm on my second pair of these - thankfully the J&M store took the first ones back after the sole both tore and pulled-away from the leather shoe in two months of very light wear. They look like the leather is stitched-down, but its not. The guy at the store was rude and pointed to a tiny scuff on the left shoe to blame me for the damage, but I pointed to the same wear on the right, where the sole wasn't torn. Still, these are (a) super comfortable, (b) super stylish, and (c) super versitile (dress up or down) - I plan to get a pair in the light tan color eventually.

The pair of shoes I purchased had a very strong smell, very similar to new tires. Despite airing them out, the smell has not diminished. I have to keep them in their boxes when not being used. My previous pairs (over 5+ years) never had this problem.

These are nice looking shoes, I had returned them due to size.

I've had a pair of the older style for six years, and loved them. I still do. I bought a pair of this new style and they're heavier and clunky. The older style had a more pointed toe box and more streamlined. Much classier.
