It's a good looking shoe, and seems comfortable at first. But after walking in the city for a few days, I've come to realize that it has a very thin sole, especially at the front of the shoe. This causes pain at the underside of your feet. Especially the toe if you already have calluses.

Not quite as much cushion as I remember (maybe I'm just getting old...), but still a great shoe!

I have owned more than one pair of these in the past and this is still a very comfortable shoe w/ great looks...the exterior leather now appears different, the finish has a far higher shine and I don't know what this means about the exterior leather, good or bad...time will tell.

Shoes are comfortable and have not required much of a break-in period. Good casual look.

I Plan on getting the Black pair. Good stylish quality shoe. Goes with dressing up, or dressing down.

Works as a casual shoe and a work shoe. Extremely comfortable. The only downside is the need to use clear polish otherwise the threading will be obscured.

Decided to check these shoes out based on the reviews on this site and elsewhere and I was not disappointed. I haven't had them long, but these shoes might be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The cushioning feels really good on my feet. As far as style, they're a nice balance between work and casual. My only complaint is the top of the heel cushion on the left shoe (only) has a little place that rubs against my ankle more than it should. I think it'll eventually return to right shape. Had them less than 1 week, so durability is TBD.

Shoes size runs true to size compared to other dress shoes, maybe a half size larger than athletic shoes. This is my second pair of Johnston and Murphy Shuler Bike shoes. Both pairs were comfortable right out the box. First pair lasted a couple of years with moderate use before the inner sole became uncomfortable (worn out). Cosmetically the two year old shoes still looked good but were no longer comfortable for prolonged standing.

I wear the shoe while I'm working and I felt comfortable even after long term standing and walking. It also showed good appearance and shape , which could fit my test and need!

Great shoe, third purchase of the same item. Put on and spent the day pounding the pavement - right out of the box.

Very comfortable. Very hard to wear out. I have had several pairs now. They will easily last 5 years. Replaced only because the leather got old-looking, but the shoes had many more miles in them. The only problem is that the sheepskin lining has a bad smell after they have been worn. I don't like that part, but I put up with it.

Size seems right; great quality, good fit and comfortable to wear. Nice design and detailing. I'll give them 5 stars if they hold up after 6 months... In the meantime, I'll buy another pair in brown if they are available at this price.

Nice, good looking shoe. I was surprised on their arrival that they were the exact same shoe I purchased one year ago at Men's Wearhouse, Except $20 dollars more! J&J vs Belvidere= twenty buck premium!

I have trouble finding shoes that fit -- this style "fits" the bill...

Very nice, nice-casual shoes. Out of the box, they felt and looked quality. My only gripe is that the left shoe has some sort of bump/protrusion underneath the insole, and it's uncomfortable. It feels like a small pebble is under there. I have yet to pull the insole out, as it's actually glued to the inside of the shoe. Recommended.

Very nice shoe actually. I believe for the price the only competitor that comes close is Bacca Bucci. This shoe, however, in my opinion, will only go well with certain clothes, such as dark jeans and khakis. Not a dress shoe for formal gatherings.
