have ben wearing these for over a decade. recently upgraded to the vans authentic pros,which have more cushioning and a bit beefier construction.

nice looking shoe but has no arch support but I just put a pair of super feet orthotic and there perfect. They do run a bit narrow and long

Great shoe, I've bought a bunch of pairs over the years from here and they always turn out great. Only issue is since it is canvas don't expect the shoes to last longer than 18 months through regular wear and tear.

I tried a similar shoe from Converse first, but it rubbed against the ball of my ankle as I walked. I knew it would be a recipe for mad blisters if I tried to go further than my living room. These are a similar overall style and price, but the comfort is MUCH better. Plus the two-toned look is wicked cool. If you're between sizes like me, I suggest going with the larger. On the smaller size, my toe was rubbing against the canvas in a way that would've caused it to wear unevenly. The half size up is juuuust right!

Good skate shoe but wears quickly. Has virtually no break-in time but the canvas starts showing holes after a week of regular skating. Worth the money if you are comfortable skating nollie/switch occasionally to wear the shoe a little more evenly and get you some extra life out of them. Not a whole lot of insole padding in these so I wouldn't wear these trying anything too big.

I love these shoes so much, they go with everything. They're not very comfortable at first but very stylish. I had multiple pairs of vans and they last a long time. I do have the tie dye pair, and I've had them for over a year now and theyre still not broken in :(

Really stylish and affordable, but not for walking long distances. Could use more cushiony insoles.

I've owned dozens of pairs of Vans in my life and like all the other's the era is a tried and true classic that can be worn with just about anything. These shoes are a relatively good quality for the price. For whatever reason, I had to buy the Eras in a 1/2 size up from my normal (probably because of the padded collar, but they are slightly warmer for winter wear and slightly more durable when compared to the authentic. These shoes were a little bit lacking in arch support, but the non-removable insole is soft enough that it conforms to your foot over time. The only downside I found for these shoes was the leather-like collar that wraps around the foot and across the heel. In summer months, it tends to rub and I've developed blisters on my heels from it even while wearing socks, so I tend to avoid wearing these during the hot summer months. Some say this stops after a break in period, but I had my last pair for 6 months and still had blistering. All things considered, this is an awesome shoe and you are sure to love it.

Vans are my go-to for tennies with a wider foot, I never have had issues before -- but these run really narrow, so back they go!

Good color and fit. A little more padding than the Era and the length-wise contrast stitching. The thin soles are good for skateboarding but not for not for all day wear.

The look of the shoe was exactly what I was looking for and they have a good amount of padding and support (especially compared to similar Converse). It has taken a while to break in the heels and I've had quite a few blisters on the backs of my ankles but otherwise very comfortable.

Great classic shoe for the summer. Comfortable and breathable. Black goes with everything.

Cute little sneaker with nice padding around the ankle area. My only regret is that the toe is not rubber. The best canvas sneakers I have ever had had the toe guard and the cushioned ankle area.

Cute and classic. They kill your feet for the first couple of days - blisters and everything - but I think they are worth it! They are comfy and I walk a lot in them but you could definitely do better if you are looking for cushy comfort. I am used to wearing flip flops and flats with zero arch support so for me these are a good balance between looking cute and being sensible to walk in.

Classic summer sneaks at a fabulous price. Instant, crisp nautical/preppy look in navy and white. Took a couple days to soften up and break in. Runs a little narrow, true to size.

For a woman buying this shoe, it looks pretty mannish. More so than the other vans with laces that come further down towards the toe. It also is a big low clearance in the toe area (top to bottom).

In an era when most products are not made to last these Vans have lasted me for 2 years. Lightweight, comfortable, relatively affordable.

Very stylish shoe that feels a little narrow and snug but very comfortable once broken in. Recommend for casual wear only. I usually wear size 13 in other brands but got a 12 since 12.5 wasn't available and the fit is okay, just a little tight in the ankle.

Nice looking shoe. Would like the shoe to come in a narrow for women for a better fit. Generally I think VANS are not the best quality but then every manufacturer is making cheaper products.

These are super classic and classy looking. The navy color goes with just about anything. At the beach, walking to work, at the bar, playing a show. I wouldn't walk a whole day in these as there is little support, but great casual everyday shoe.

I love the shoe but I have to buy new ones every few months because, as your main shoe, they break down very easily.

Vans Eras overall are great. The good parts are: they have great boardfeel, flex great, and look awesome. The bad parts are: they aren't very protective, and aren't the most comfortable, and they tear easily, but the good parts make up for the bad. Also, one thing I noticed is that they don't seem to grip like they used to. It could just be me, but other people have told me the same thing. It could be because of a new rubber.

Vans never change - These Vans are exactly what you expect them to be. Vans hasn't changed anything about their classic shoes in years. Comfortable and good looking.
