I have always loved vans, been wearing them since I was a kid and that was a long time ago ;) I currently own a pair of slip ons and these. These run true to size, or maybe 1/2 size big if you are in between sizes. I wear a 7 1/2 or and 8 in sneakers depending on the brand and in these I wear the men’s 6/womens 7.5 In the slip on I wear the men’s 5.5/womens 7 as the bigger size would slip off my heel and they do stretch just slightly. I feel these shoes run slightly wide so if you have a narrow foot I don’t recommend them, I would go with the converse instead. I have a medium width foot and these are a little wide for me whereas converse a slightly narrow even though I can wear both without either being a real problem. There is no real arch support but I find these shoes very comfortable, I didnt need any breaking in period. They are great kickin around town shoes. They’re not meant for running or if Im going to be walking miles and miles, or do some light hiking I wear my running shoes instead. They’re a great all around casual sneaker.

I have loved vans since I was a kid and I have had the era Slip on for a couple of years now and theyre still going strong. I like the era core classic over the original because I personally prefer the padded collar. I do think the lace up definitely runs a 1/2 size smaller than the slip on so order up. I wear a 5.5 men’s / 7 womens in the slip on and a 6/7.5 in this shoe. Overall I think the era is comfortable for a casual sneaker, I mean its not meant for running the mile if you know what I mean.. I wear mine all summer long, I just love em

I love Vans, reminds me of my high school days when I used to skate with my brother. Yes, I'm a woman and I still love to skate, even in my 40's : ) These shoes are comfy, I wear them to work and when I'm out with friends or with my daughter. Style is great, goes well with jeans and shorts. Highly recommend, whether you're a skater or not.

Excellent pair of shoes, bought it for my 15 yo daughter and she loves them! I have to say I love them too. Perfect fit and width. Been wearing them for months now no issues they still look and feel great.

I love them! They felt a little narrow but with just a few wears they break in and mold to your foot. I did find that going up a half size isn't a terrible idea. They look great and feel like they will last. Solid shoe.

they're ERA's jsut like the authentics only more comfortable as the have the padded ankle. You can't go wrong.

My go to shoes. Comfortable and fashionable. Simple style that goes with anything.
