This is my first pair of Lucchese. I am extremely impressed with the quality and am coming back to buy them in red now.

Love my new boots! This boot is absolutely beautiful! Wonderful craftsmanship and detail. I did order 1/2 size small - per other reviews - and am very happy with the fit. Unlike other western boots, this boot is very fitted - akin to a good quality glove.

New Lucchese addict - I bought this boot at my regular size of 8.5, but the boot was way too big; sent them back and got maybe the best customer service I ever received. These boots are best worn without socks for best affect. They are better than barefoot! I never want to take them off; first thing I put on when I get out of bed. Lucchese rocks!

Great boot - This boot is so comfortable from the first time wearing it. It gets more comfortable with each wear, conforming to your foot! I love it.

Lucchese 1883 N4554 - A great looking boot, understated cowboy, with a nice feel on the inside. Have never tried on a cowboy boot that actually felt good before! I’m not sure it isn't a little too long, letting the whole foot slip, instead of just having free heels. If you have medium width/low volume feet, try going down a 1/2 size (maybe a full size for narrow feet).The leather that touches my foot on the sides in front is soft, and I'm sure it will shape to the foot. Trying to decide to keep the current size, or try a little smaller... but I do want the boots.

Kickin boots- I love these boots! They were comfortable from the first time I wore them and fit my foot like a glove. I’m not into current fashion cowboy boots- these are the real deal and look really great. Cowboy boots run a size larger than your normal shoes, so buy a size down.

Beautiful Boots- This is a gorgeous boot. I originally got it in the Tan Mad Dog Goat, but it was a little too rugged for me. The Chocolate is perfect. I have a problem with a bunion on my right foot and I really feel it after many hours in this boot. I will figure out how to alleviate this because I love, love, love these boots.

Luccehese's amazing - These boots are great, so stylish, the leather is beautiful and they are super comfortable. The extra padding is amazing, they are great!

These are gorgeous boots and I really wish I could keep them, but I think I have to send them back and get something else because they are just too narrow. Even the wide size (which is what I have) is just way too narrow. I have a wide foot, and usually wide versions of shoes fit me perfectly; the wide on these is equivalent to somewhere between narrow to medium in most other brands of shoes. So just beware. If you have really narrow feet, these boots would be great for you. But if your feet are wide, I would go with something other than Lucchese. This is the 3rd pair of Lucchese boots I have tried on and they all just run very narrow. The only reason I'm giving these 4 stars instead of 5 is that I just wish they'd either make a few pair a bit wider, or at least be honest; this isn't a wide shoe!

Great alternative to flats - This boot is great! I was looking for a shoe that could be worn with cords and jeans - that was as comfortable as a sneaker, but way more polished. They look amazing - a deep brown that dresses up any casual pant. Very comfortable as well. The only issue at all is the narrowness around your ankle; they are a little snug. But, hopefully they will give more as I wear them.

Well, for me it's been a wild ride trying to get the right fit in Lucchese but I finally got there! I had a fitting in a Lucchese store and found---to my shock!-- that I take a 7 1/2B in Lucchese. Usually I buy an 8 1/2-9B. Go figure. I know a lot of you are saying these boots are true to size but...have I been buying the wrong shoe size all these years??? Don't know. Anyway, I ordered the 7 1/2B---fit my left foot fine but was very narrow on my right foot. I remember the salesperson said they loosen up A LOT. So I wore them around for a while but they still didn't fit my right foot. So I ordered the 7 1/2C---fit my right foot perfect---and my left foot was swimming in it!!! Finally I decided to try some shoe stretch on the 7 1\/2B (not recommended if you're not prepared to keep them!)--and it did the trick. The boot loosened up just right in about 1/2 hour. Now I own a gorgeous pair of Lucchese boots for my impending move to Santa Fe---but be advised that you might need to try on several sizes. I also suspect there might be some variation from pair to pair, like Dansko, since they are handmade. Love them--but I am going to give them 3 stars overall for fit difficulty.

I ordered these boots a week before my daughters wedding in a dryland horse pasture. I felt very secure in them with the uneven ground, dust and sometimes rain. The bride and all her maids, mothers and grandmothers wore cowgirl wore boots with their dresses, it was so fun. I was a little concerned with my wide foot and the reviews running narrow, so I ordered 1/2 size up in W and they worked! Good support for my high arch, too. First pair of boots since high school and I'm glad I chose quality, hope to wear them often.

Love these boats! The first time I wore them, I was on my feet all day. Felt as good as tennis shoes. And they are so cute! I will wear them forever.

This was my first pair of boots and I am in love. They fit wonderfully out of the box, and have only gotten more comfortable over the past year. I wear my boots frequently and receive compliments almost every time I wear them.

Happy Customer! Lucchese boots were recommended by a friend for a recent visit to a dude ranch, and from the first time I put them on, these boots did not disappoint. They are both truly comfortable and fabulous looking. I found them true to size, although I did take advantage of Zappos free shipping to try some other sizes/widths as well. Everyone in our family ended up with this boot, all happy with our choice.

Feel like butta - Beautiful. Fit like a dream. The first time I put them on, they felt tight in the width and slipped around the heel. I wore them around the house for 10-15 minutes each day for about a week. Now they feel amazing. They feel like butta; like a big sticka butta. They are just as comfortable as my favorite athletic shoe.

Beautiful boot but not sure how comfortable - This is my second pair of Lucchese boots. My foot is long and narrow and I'd given up ever finding a western boot to fit. The leather is soft and beautiful. The brown is very pretty, almost marble looking. It fits my 10-10 1/2 narrow foot well. I've worn them twice, they are still breaking in. I'm not sure how comfortable they will end up being. I know this is the best fit I'll ever find in a western boot but am not sure they'll be shoes I will be able to stand or walk in a lot. I think it's my foot, not the boot. (Same with my other pair). The one thing I don't like is how prominently the toe box stands out on the shoe. It's very apparent. I don't know if that is normal or not, or if my foot doesn't fill it up enough. It was the same with a different pair I ordered and the returned. I find it unattractive. All in all, I do think Lucchese boots are beautiful, and very well made.

Lucchese n4554 - Nice looking, but very uncomfortable. May send them back, just been wearing them around the house to break them in. First pair I bought was too big in my normal size 7 1/2. Got them 1/2 size smaller and they were perfect until the seaming came undone. Got these in 7, and they are so narrow. Too bad, loved the color.

Narrow! These are VERY skinny boots. I couldn't even get my foot down the neck, let alone know if the fit would work or not and I wear a medium width shoe, so I'm confused by everyone who says they fit perfectly. They all must be very skinny people.
