WOW - Just like most reviewers, I instantly fell in love with these boots straight out of the box. Absolutely no break-in involved. I'd imagine if it doesn't feel right out of the box, you probably have the wrong size. I can't say enough how perfect these boots are - looks, fit, comfort, quality. Absolutely cannot go wrong with these.

I think I'm in love!! As so many others have said...comfortable right out of the box. I did buy the regular width and the wide width...the regular width was extremely narrow IMHO but the wides fit like a glove...more like I had expected the regulars to fit. Honestly didn't expect them to be quite this comfortable. I have a very high arch so most of the time I have problems with the top of my foot being so uncomfortable until I've stretched the boots out some...but not these...perfect! Have some good cushioning and conforming to my foot nicely. Don't like the slippery bottoms but I can scuff those up. Wish they had made the bottoms with a rubber coating like Ariat's do...and were cheaper like Ariat's...but I'm hooked so I'm going to pay the price and enjoy my walking experience. Great color too...solves my problem of buying one black pair and one brown pair...these go both ways since they're darker in color...nice job Lucchese!

These boots are AMAZING. This boot fits great and looks amazing. Immediately after taking them out of the package, these boots are soft (the leather is buttery and no need to break them in at all), well made, and overall gorgeous. They look fantastic with a pair of jeans. I first ordered the Justin boot and sent it back b/c the leather was extremely stiff and it looked so much like a work boot. Once I saw and tried on these, there was no comparison. I highly recommend spending the extra money. There is a bit of heel slip when you first try these on but after wearing them around the house 15-20 minutes a day, they fit great. The fast service was great also -- thanks, Zappos!

Gorgeous boots - Really pretty, and feel great right out of the package. They fit bigger than expected. I wear a 7.5 or an 8, and have wide feet. I bought the 7.5 W, and they turned out to be way too big. I had to return them, sadly, because the 7 W isn't available in this style.

Great cowboy boots - My first pair of cowboy boots & I love them. Very comfortable, true to size. I originally wanted the tan colour, but had difficulty finding a pair without too many leather marks on the toe cap so eventually settled for this chocolate colour, which looks great with jeans.

GREAT COWBY BOOTS! These are the perfect boots. They feel great right out of the box and just get better and better. I had been told by my local shoe salesman that cowboy boots should be purchased 1/2 size smaller than normal (that is all they had for me anyway, I should have suspected something) so that is what I bought last year. After a year of pinched toes, I bought a new pair at Zappos and bought my true size and guess what?! They fit perfectly! I love Zappos and Lucchese!

Great Boots! I love these boots! They are a beautiful dark chocolate brown and so easy to wear from the first time I put them on. Order the size you normally wear - they DON'T run large - they run very true to size. Comfortable soft fit and, of course, Lucchese gorgeous!

These boots rock!! This is my 2nd pair of Lucchese and they will not be my last. My first pair was size 7.5, which is my usual size in most shoes, but I was a bit concerned about the heel pull-up when I walked, so I got these in a size 7. They were a tad tight, but have since loosened up nicely and fit my foot and leg perfectly - though I should mention I have very slim feet and calves. The shaft of this boot was much narrower than the size 7.5 I got. As for the look of the boot, I can't wear them without getting compliments and I wear them UNDER my jeans, not over. They are so stylin' I can't even stand it. I've inspired more people to get cowboy boots and it's amazing. I considered getting black, but these are a beautiful compromise; such a deep, dark, luscious brown it could be mistaken for black, but goes with even more clothing. I highly recommend. And can I just say not only do these boots rock, but Zappos rocks. Next day air at no extra cost is such a fantastic treat!!

City cowgirl - First pair of boots, read the reviews others posted and decided to try this. The reasons why I think they are so great are: Very soft leather, high arch, look great with my long linen skirts and cowgirl stuff. I went to a wide width and glad I did. Snug at ankle. Thanks Zappos for my upgrade in delivery.

Initially they felt snug, but they are extremely comfortable. I wear them all of the time.

WOW - Outstanding service. I put the boots on as soon as they were delivered. Three hours later, I haven't taken them off. I have other western style boots (Tony Lama, Arait) and they do not even come close to the style and comfort of the Lucchese boots. A complete home run!

Great everyday boots - I had to send my first pair back as there was some loose stitching. The second pair had a similar issue but on the opposite shoe of the first problem. Together the two pairs made one that was perfect. Zappos couldn't have been better or faster in sending me both pairs. I LOVE the service and people at Zappos.

Love these new Chocolate Lucchese! Once again, Lucchese has won my heart in terms of a great western boot! This is about my 7th pair of Lucchese and I doubt that I'll stop here! These fit beautifully for the slightly more slender foot. Also, if you have a higher instep (the top part of your foot), this boot will fit you every time. I wear a street shoe of 6-1/2 to 7 in a narrow to a medium. I buy Lucchese boots in a 6-1/2 medium and it fits like a glove! If they're at first a little snug, they'll soon loosen and mold beautifully to your foot. You can't go wrong with Lucchese and you can't go wrong with Zappos!

My girlfriend loved them - I purchased them for a charity function with a cowboy theme... She wore them for the first time that evening and she looked great in them.. She said they were comfortable to wear right out of the box, and fit was perfect.

My first western boots ever... I searched all around home to no avail, went online and found Zappos. I researched boots of all kinds, determined Lucchese was the brand I wanted. I learned the terminology, read the reviews and for over two weeks kept looking to see if I could find something that I really felt I would be happy with. Shoes of any kind were the last thing I would ever consider buying online but the overnight free shipping and return special in Feb. made the idea more feasible. Size: filtered the site by size and found what was in stock. I ordered the size I normally wear in good shoes and the next day when the shoes came I was so pleased to put them on and see that they really might work without sending back. I'd checked all the "how to fit" pages so I knew where the ball of my foot was supposed to fit to keep my toes from hurting. That was my main concern. The heel was loose at first but fine now. I bought these boots for dancing but wear them most of the time, they are soooooo very comfortable. I wear a very thin cotton sock on my smaller foot and a regular pair of crew socks on each foot to compensate for the difference in width of my right foot. Works like a charm. First day, I wore them all day and had no problem at all. I forgot to order a boot jack; it's hard to get them off without one but later solved that problem. Three days later, first dance and they were fantastic, everyone noticed them, raved over them and I had a blast because I was comfortable and right in style. I couldn't say enough good about these boots. Now I need a black pair. Maybe soon.... The customer service rep was fantastic, the 24/7 enabled me to shop on my schedule without ever leaving home and the price protection gave me an added discount as I'd found them cheaper elsewhere. I will never buy another pair of boots from anyone else but Zappos. Thanks Zappos for a great online shopping experience.

Luv them..nuff said. My husband insisted that I needed better boots and ordered these as a gift. I thought they were pricey and planned to return them...until I wore them around the house. Needless to say, I will not be returning them. Did I mention he placed the order at 9pm and they arrived the next day by the time the school bus arrived?

Cowboy Boots that are actually comfortable!!! These boots are very soft leather! They are so comfortable. I have psoriatic arthritis in my toes and feet, so I never expected to find boots I could wear. These are wonderful! I bought a half size larger to accommodate my disease & they worked great! I think they are very true to size.
