BIG backpack fits BIG binders - I bought this for my 11-year-old 6th grade son who has to carry 3 BIG binders (plus occasional books, plus snacks, etc.) to and from school every day. Remarkably it not only fits all his stuff, but it also neatly fits into his locker. The bag is squared off, which makes it more efficient. The straps need to be "broken in" a bit, hence the drop to 4 stars for comfort. The bag looks reasonably "cool" so we don't have the nerdy-bag-blues.

Good size for 6th grade student book bag - My daughter chose this bag because of the color and her friends have one similar. It holds everything needed for school. It has plenty of room and is comfortable even when heavy.

Great backpack - Very spacious and appears to be more durable than previous backpacks I've purchased. Terrific choice for the older student.

Happy with backpack - This is our 2nd backpack from Zappos, both Jansport. We received fast service and were very happy with the product. It is lightweight and durable. It holds a lot.

Awesome bag! I ordered this bag for my 7th grader, and she just loves it! The bag has plenty of room for a couple 3-ring binders and some books, pencil bag, etc. on the inside, not to mention the other zippered sections. And the color scheme with the skulls is so "in" right now that it's perfect! Oh, and don't forget the super fast shipping one can always expect from Zappos!

Great for travel - I used it as a carry-on on my flight to Europe and it held all the things I needed for the long trip (plus all those last minute things that didn't fit in my suitcase) and it stowed itself neatly under the seat so I had access to my stuff during the flight. It was heavy but the padded shoulder straps made it very comfortable to carry. I was very pleased.

Awesome service and great product - My granddaughter was really wanting this backpack. We could not find it on the internet to our dismay. I dreaded to have to search in all the stores, so I went on my own search and found this website. I ordered it that night about 10:30pm. But 11:45pm I had a message saying she would get it the very next day. True to your word, you made one little girl very happy and a Nana a hero. I was amazed at the service unsurpassed by none other. I will be definitely be using your site again...Thank you so much for your superb service. When you say overnight service you mean it.

Recommended - The first day I got compliments on the color, Hibiscus Camo. I love how it doesn't show the dirt that much. The straps could be a little more comfortable because after using for a day trip, my shoulders hurt from them.

Excellent backpack - This pack exceeded our expectations! After reading all the great reviews on here, it was an obvious choice for my middle schooler who now needs to carry a ton of notebooks, an instrument, etc. It has more pockets than he knows what to do with and each offers generous space. The back is very lightly padded but an improvement on skimpier models of Jansport. The material seems very durable. The straps do seem stiff but the design is more ergonomic and will likely break in over time. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our purchase, and the service from Zappos was outstanding as usual - I ordered it late on a Saturday night and they told me it would be here Tues. but it showed up on Monday night! Thanks again Zappos!!

This is a great Backpack! It's huge and has taken a lot of wear and tear.

This is a good backpack. It is not quite the quality they used to be but that is true with pretty much everything you buy! It is always a pleasure to purchase from Zappos!

The only thing I didn't like was the S-shaped straps. Being as big as I am, it's the bottom curse of the strap what rides at the top of my shoulder, making for a very uncomfortable ride. Other than that, it seems big enough; I stuffed my laptop and several college-sized textbooks in it, and they all just fit.

So many pockets I don't quite know what to do with them! The polka dots on the inside are a fun surprise every time I open the bag up. The straps are comfortable, the water bottle pouch exactly what I needed. Overall this was a good replacement for my other Jansport that bit the bullet.

Bought this for my high school freshman son, who has a lot of books to carry and is pretty rough on back packs. Pack is roomy and rugged. Would recommend it.

I'm a high school sophomore and love this backpack. It's big enough to hold all my books and is really comfortable and looks decent!! I just rated it a 4 overall because the straps are kind of a weird shape at first and take getting used to.

My daughter loves her bag. She misses her straps from her old Jansport--they had gel in them, and the bottom is not reinforced. The bag is super roomy, though, for all her HS books, lunch and books.

Plenty of room, many, many pockets -- the only negatives are a thin handle on top of the backpack as opposed to a fatter, molded rubbery one on my kid's old backpack (easier to lift and to hang from a hook while loaded), and the mesh pocket on one side for a water bottle is too short.

Nice backpack - attractive, with plenty of room. Too many storage areas, but it\'s better than not having enough room. My son has a lot of books and binders, and this pack handles it all easily.

It's what my daughter wanted! I ordered this backpack for my daughter because it had everything she wanted--lots of zippered pockets, and lots of space for her books. She loves it. It looks great and it serves her needs. The material does not seem quite as sturdy as my other daughter's backpack from another company. But as long as it lasts a few years, I am happy.

This bag would be better if it did not let water soak through. The contents of the backpack got soaked after 10 minutes in a moderate rainfall. Also, it does not have any reflective material on it, which concerns me because it is dark out when my sixth grader walks to school in the morning. For these reasons, I would not buy this again.

I am returning this pack as it is too small to hold all of my 10th grader's books. It is very well constructed and partitioned as my son said. Too bad it's too small.
