This shoe was purchased as a gift. I love them but I had to exchange them up a half size because they don't actually run true to size.

Love the shoes, very comfortable and good style. After about 9 months though the soles have worn through on my big toe on each side and the laces on one shoe burst.

I've owned over 10 pairs of these shoes in different styles throughout the past 10 years. I wear them to work, to lounge, to exercise (I know I shouldn't, but I do), and everything in between. Sperry's are my go to shoe every day. They are cozy, stylish, and practical. The only problem I've ever faced was the sole ripping from the shoe. I am usually able to keep a pair 1-2 years depending on how long it takes for the sole to rip (I think I had one pair that lasted me 4 years). Sadly, the sole separating from the top part of the shoe has happened to EVERY SINGLE pair I have ever owned. I am going to get the Gold Cup in hopes that the build quality is better. Now, it's hard to knock the shoe when it could be my fault the sole is breaking. I bike, run, play basketball, stretch, walk, boat, etc in the shoes. Giving them such an intense beating, I should expect breakage. Just wish they lasted a bit longer. If the Gold Cup doesn't workout, I may have to switch to a different style loafer/shoe. For the price of the shoes, and the amount I've owned, I shouldn't have to keep buying a new pair every 1-2 years. Overall though, the shoes are amazing. Most versatile shoe I've ever owned. You can wear them in rain, sleet, or snow and they still perform great. I'd suggest getting your true size or .5 size smaller than your usual. They are leather, and after breaking them in they stretch a bit. If you get them wet, they'll shrink the the original size once they are dry, but not smaller. I'm a 13.5 and I always go with the 13.

I own an older Sperry topsider 10W leather pair that has served me well for over 5 years. My dress Florshiem shoes are 10EEE. So I order these replacement Sperry topsiders 10XW. But I could barely get my feet into these new shoes. While the shoes were marked 10XW, I think the fit was really a D (or just a W). I returned them. I had to order 10EEEEE from a competitor. :-(

The show fits slightly small and is narrow but overall is of great quality. Shipping was fast and free but returns take multiple weeks.

This product is a comfortable and stylish shoe for an affordable price. Would certainly recommend buying.

Got these as a gift in blue. They are very comfortable and the leather is high quality. I have a narrower foot, so they fit a little loose, but other than that, they are excellent!

This will be my third pair of the Sperry Authentic Original Boat Shoe. I was sold on this shoe after wearing my first pair all day the day I received them in the mail. The comfort, look and fit are all perfect and I will continue wearing this shoe for years to come. Great job Sperry for making such a durable and functional shoe that has all the bases covered.

Second pair of Sperry Boat shoes, in 4 months. First pair was from a whole sales department store. The brown is a classic style for your first Sperry. I am a true 7.5 and the fit was perfect. Second pair I decided to purchase on-line (Navy). I order size 7.5, and they were a half size to small. I would advice to purchase a half size larger in this style.

This shoe is very nice. Nicely made, excellent quality. The fit is what is a bit off. We ordered an 11.5 and we're sending it back for 8.5. Use the size chart before ordering!!! It will save you some time.

I bought this show because of the way it looked online. I received it today and the show is really elegant and well made. Unfortunately, for me the shoe was a little tight even though I ordered wide with, I also was not a fan of the material used for the shoe laces, they are stiff and difficult to tighten. Still the shoe is beautiful and well made.

The shoes are great wish I bought them M instead of W but other than that they are good.

I have wide feet and am flatfooted, so I have to wear orthotics with all my shoes. Overall, the orthotics made the shoe a little wider than it needed to be, but the shoe itself was very comfortable and stylish. Be warned, don't wear these if it's been raining outside and you have to walk anywhere; the front most part of the sole has a habit of leaking in water. Solid shoe.

These are one of the most durable boat shoes I've had. They are by no means water resistant and they are leather, treat them with proper care and product. I believe they are a half size too big for me. I got a 7.5 wide, and I'm usually a 7.5 wide, but I should have gotten a 7 Wide. The wide width is great, except for when the leather stretches and then they became too wide. Now, they sort of are just too floppy and aren't secure to my feet. Synthetic shoes don't do this, so be aware that when you get the shoes they will break in and be a little bigger. The sole is a little thin, and causes a little pain in my knees when I'm on my feet all day. All in all, I do not regret the purchase but would recommend trying them on in store and understand that leather needs proper care. Great for casual wear, they can be dressed up or down. I will not be wearing these to work, on a ship, anymore.

This shoes is a classic. You can really dress it up or down and can be worn in almost any occasion. Would recommend them to anyone- it can really be a nice fashion staple. *Make sure to water proof them though

This shoe is the classic boat shoe. My wife wore this shoe back in the 1880's in high school. A true classic !

Great shoe just too large

I bought these shoes to wear to school everyday, and they have held up pretty well. But the stitching is starting to become unstitched and towards the end of the day, my feet have red marks in them. But overall, the shoes are god for everyday wear and have held up well.

When I bought these boat shoes, they looked very stylish and comfortable. The only thing that I was irritated was that when I purchased them and took them out of the box, they were slightly damaged and mistreated. I think it was when it was shipped or when it was handled, but I was disappointing to see the shoes that I purchased a little mistreated. Other than that, They are amazing! They are the best shoes I've ever purchased in my life so they are a keeper.

Other Sperrys I have purchased have taken a little while to be broken in and I would get blisters, however these are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

This shoe stretches out so I recommend getting a half size smaller than you normally wear.

Love the look and feel of this shoe. I own a similar pair, which they don't make anymore. The size I have for it is Men's 11 M but this shoe is cut a little different so this one came in slightly smaller. If I had known that I would've ordered the larger size.
