Sole "broke" and separated from shoe within a few hours of wearing. Sperry did make good on issuing a credit but it would have been much easier if you had just allowed me to order a replacement.

The sole ripped within 2 weeks. I've had many Topsiders and they've all lasted for some time but not this latest pair.

High quality shoe but the size is not consistent. Ordered my regular size and they are far too large and not exchangeable. Be careful when orderging.

Both shoes fell apart at the sole within a week. A replacement pair was sent though.

I wear, ordered & received a size 13W. The shoe was so narrow that it was difficult to put it on. It has since been returned.

I have been buying the oatmeal color for years and just ordered a new pair two weeks ago. Color is much darker than on the website, almost as dark as the tan color. Also, the rubber sole tread is not completely cut to allow for flexibility and the leather feels of lesser quality than my previous pairs. I ordered a second pair a few days ago and it has the same issues. I noticed they switched manufacturers to Indonesia vs China where my previous pairs came from so that could be why these are so different now. Very disappointing. I've loved these shoes in oatmeal forever and now they have gone down hill.

I have shared feelings, as these were one of my favorite shoes. This last pair of shoes was bought on June 10 and they are already broken wearing them only 1 time a week. The same thing happened to the pair before these in only 4 uses, but since it had never happened to me I thought it was just bad luck. Since it has happened to me 2 consecutive times, I am beginning to think that they are lowering the quality of the product. It's sad, since I remember that I used my first pair of this model for about 3 years, and I only decided to buy others for aesthetic reasons, they never broke.

After about a week of wearing the shoes, the toe of the right foot shoe began to separate from the sole. Fortunately, Sperry gave me a full refund.

They look great but had mine only a month and the string has already gone through the sole and it's starting to fall off. Bad quality

Shoes fit good and look good but the delivery packaging was very terrible. Box was torn from both sides and noticed a scratch on one of the shoes other then that the shoes just the delivery packaging terrible. If it wasn't for that I would give it a 5 star review

Unfortunately, shoes were an entirely different colour than what was purchased.

Unfortunately after wearing the shoes for a few days the top part of the right sole disconnected from the shoe. I've owned this model before and that never happened, even after years of wear. I wonder if the quality went down or if there was a defect with the shoe.

After less than a month the front left toe came unstitched. I had to take it to a shoe repair shop so they could glue the toe back together. I will see how long this lasts.

But like others have said the sole has pulled away from the front of the right shoe within 2 weeks of purchase.

You did not send the woman's shoes as I ordered so I sent them back for a credit.

I wore these shoes as a kid as part of my school uniform. I put them through all the trials you can imagine a kid would. Saw them on someone the other day and thought, let's give those a try again. Really liked them at firstthe look was as I remember, after a day or two they were comfortable. I was looking forward to the leather getting a little more worn in of a look, but about 3-weeks into owning them, the sole on both shoes tore away from itself at the toe. First one, then the next day the other, and I wasn't dragging the front of the shoe. Really disappointed. I want these to work out. I'm just wondering if the rubber they are using now is total garbage, or were these just a lemon?

Sperry topsider is a classic shoe for me...I tend to get a new pair every year because I just wear them out.

Nice color, good fit, but unfortunately fell apart after first use. Have not had a chance to speak with customer service because it happened on the first day of a two week vacation. My shoes were fine, so I am hoping it's a one off.

I loved the shoes and the left one was perfect but the right one was too tight.

Ironic that I was contacted today for this review. They fit perfectly. I applied a leather crme to help soften them up and wore them in the house a few times so that I wouldn't get blisters. I've worn them outside maybe three or four times. I just noticed that the front part of the sole on one shoe has separated from the shoe. It looks like the sole split thru where it is stitched. How can I return these defective shoes?

The last pair of Sperry boat shoes I had lasted forever - these lasted for a month. The soles cracked and separated; not sure if it's a supply chain/sourcing issue, but very disappointed. 0/10 would not recommend.

Too narrow ! Tight fit ! Much worse fit than other models

I always buy Sperry boat shoes. Your boat shoes always had good padding. Recently I ordered the Authentic original boat shoe, product number 195412 (order W1050765764). I could not believe there was hardly any padding and sadly it was like walking bare foot. I bought some odor eaters to add to the padding....it hardly made any improvement. I decided to start using my used Sperry boat shoes, which still feel great. What happened?

I have worn Topsiders for 50 years. They make 3 shoe styles, in 3 versions of Brown that come in a narrow width. Why? Because the bean-counters tell them not enough people buy other colors. How would you know? You have NEVER made more than 3 colors. No problem making 3-Eye or Plushwave or Rivingston or Authentic Original or Gold Cup model shoes but do not make a regular old Topsider boat shoe in a Narrow width in Black or Blue or Red or Grey or Orange or Purple or maybe a Narrow Gold Cup. You make me feel like a sucker for liking and buying the few shoes you make in a narrow width. I am so tired of Brown. How can I rate for style/ I can't fit any other Sperry Topsider. There was no "online" when I first bought these shoes.
