Second pair of this style purchased for my husband. He loves them. He walks quite during his daily commute and these have been really comfortable and sturdy.

The fit was good and comfortable. The soles are the same in a work boot that I ordered and they have lasted a long time walking on gravel roads that eat up other soles.

These are really solidly built shoe. They are comfortable but heavy. They are breaking in quite nicely and quickly. They provide decent arch support. I have actually gotten compliments on them which is weird. Who compliments a dude's shoes? Minus two to stealth, though. They squeak when you walk down the hall. I am hoping that will go away otherwise I will never be able to sneak out of work early again.

Had my last pair of these shoes for 15 years and they finally bit the dust. Can't wait to break in the insoles as I know how comfortable they will become.

The shoe is a standard school shoe, so there was no excitement there. But the shipment time was phenomenal! I received them in two days. I shop here as often as I can because the shipping is free. This is an added value to me...especially considering the delivery was expedited with no cost or hassle.

The 8053 has to be the best all around shoe that Dr. Marten has made to date. I had 1 other pair which lasted at least 8 + years. This year I bought my second pair only different color. They are still the same quality shoe as before. I hope Dr. Marten never changes the specs of the 8053 shoe.

Dr. Martens are the right shoe for people who are on their feet all day. Great support, very comfortable from the first time you put them on. Durable you cant wear them out. I have two other pairs. One is 6-7 years old the other is 8-9 years old the soles and heels are still like new.

I purchased these for my husband's birthday. He has other Docs so I just ordered his size and he totally loves them. They work for his business casual office and he gets a lot of compliments. They really are nice looking.

Great fitting, true to size, exceptional good looking shoe product. Zappos packed properly and shipped so prompt that the shoes were at my door as I hung up the order phone. Goodness, gracious.

These are beautiful shoes that fit great, and the shipping was so fast. This was a great experience. I usually where a 10½ American shoe size these are British shoes and no half sizes. The 10 fits perfectly.

I bought these for my guy for his birthday. He loves them. He is very hard on shoes so I hope that these will last him a long time. They look great with his work clothes and with jeans when we go out. I am glad I read the reviews where people posted that they actually ran a little big. He is normally a 10 1/2 the site said to go with the 11, but since the reviews said they ran big, I went with the 10. Glad I did. The 10 worked out perfectly. One foot was a little on the snug side, but after a couple of days of wearing they broke in nice and now he says they are very comfortable.

Very comfy shoe right out of the box. Weight is good. I learned a long time ago that I can either buy new shoes every 6 months or buy a pair of Dr. Martens once every few years. So, I was glad this shoe is so comfortable.

Love these shoes. My first pair of Doc's ever. I bought them after reading so many good reviews, largely because I'm so tired of paying about $100 for shoes that blow out in six months. These are stiff, but the arch support and give in the insoles make them comfortable. I expect to wear them for years! I do recommend this model for the cushioned collar, which made the break-in period painless.

I had forgotten what a quality pair of shoes felt like on my feet! Why did I stop wearing Dr. Martins when I was in college?

Nice shoes, classic, I was replacing my old 8 year old DM's. I was disappointed in the color just a little bit. Seemed less brown than I was expecting. Little more reddish tone. Still look great with jeans and dress pants but maybe more dressy than I was expecting when I truly wanted brown like my originals.

Bought these for my son. He put them on and said he won't ever take them off - fit is perfect - very comfortable.

Perfect right out of the box! I haven't owned a pair of Doc since the mid 90s and decided on the 8053s to replace my casual work shoes. I usually wear a 10.5-11 in all other shoes, and an 11 in USMs fits great. I was worried that wearing them right into a 9 hour workday would be painful, but the fit like I've owned them for years.

Awesome shoe. On concrete all day...feet do not hurt. Very good quality leather. Worth the money.

I have a pair of Doc Martins that I have had since high school, back in the 80's and they are still in good shape. I still wear them. I purchased this pair because I like the style and I need a pair of shoes to walk on concrete all day. So far I am very disappointed. My left foot is killing me. I wear them for about an hour and that is all that I can take. I am wondering how long it is going to take me to break these in. I do not think I would recommend these to anyone as the break in period is ridiculous. I have had them for a month or two now and still breaking them in. If I could return them I would!

#1: Buy a size down from what you would buy, if you are a woman! The sizes are all mixed up, but I wear a 7.5 and had to come down to a 7. #2: I love these shoes. They are stylish and comfortable. #3: There is no #3. Please return to #1.

I'm on my feet all day and these are by far, the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, and they have a great classic look.

I do a lot of walking at my job. I did a lot of thinking about my feet and how tired they were. I got these shoes. Now I don't think about my feet, it's the truth. I had to think about how I don't think about them anymore. They're comfortable and supportive. I recommend them highly.

My husband is on his feet all day long. He suffered from lower back aches until he bought the Dr. Martens many years ago. He has been purchasing them every year since because they keep him feeling great with no more back aches.

I typically wear boots so this was a step forward towards something I could be comfortable with during the summer. They're comfortable light and breath well for a boot style shoe.
