I have a high arch and it was difficult to get these on. I am between an 8 and 8.5 so I took the advice and ordered the smaller size. They were still too big. Love the color and the style...too bad they don't fit.

I've now had these boots for over 6 years (since August 2010), and so far, so good. They are due for a resole, but that's to be expected when you wear a pair of boots like this as often as I do. The leather is holding up extremely well, with no concerning wear or damage. They have been very comfortable over the years, and they have been my preferred boot in that time, over many of the other nice boots that I own. I've gone through quite a few insoles, but underneath the insoles, the factory padding still looks very good. This has to be by far the best shoe purchase I've ever made. I have surely gotten my moneys worth out of these, both in enjoyment of wearing them and the compliments that I get from them every now and then. My boots are the Vintage Chocolate that they apparently no longer make. They looked well worn in from the factory, which has helped to hide any scuffs or stains over the years. If anything, those added flaws only add to the character of the boots. They look better today than they did when they were new, in my opinion. I can't give any higher praise to these boots. If you can afford them, get them. You won't regret it.
