The shoe is great re comfort but the leather looks horrible. I thought it was fake.

Do not believe that these were meant to be unisex. The arch is way out of place for a male. Extremely painful to try to wear

I ordered these in a 37 at first and they were way too big (I typically wear size 7). Then I returned them and ordered a size 36. They were too small. Frustrating. I could tell they would have been comfortable had the length of the shoe been correct. The 37 was huge, and the 36 was so small that my toes were pushing against the front of the shoe.

I love the look of Birkenstocks but sadly these didn’t work out because they run narrow.

I bought these to add another color option after falling I love with a pair of soft footbed suede Bostons. I ordered my usual size and they were sooo right! Had to send them back, but love the style and soft footbed. Definitely great support, the size was just all wrong.

This brand has become a pain to break in.Too stiff and not pliant.

I have had a pair of the "original" (not soft footbed) Birkenstock Bostons for 20 years. I'm less enraptured with the new soft footbed version. They feel like they are taking longer to break in to my feet - I've had the new pair for about a year - and they make my feet a lot warmer than the old ones. This can be good on cold days, but it's uncomfortable in the moderate climate where I live. They also feel stiffer and clunkier than I remembered my old ones feeling when they were new. Those are fairly minor details and I would have kept trying with them, except in the last 4 months they have developed an annoying rhythmic"fart-squeak" sound when I walk! Very embarrassing walking into a quiet room! Unfortunately, that's $150 down the drain because it's too late to return. I'm donating them to Goodwill. I wish Birkenstock would bring back the regular footbed version in the Boston clog! :(

Love Birkenstocks and have worn them for many years. The Boston is a style I have wanted and have tried to buy for years but the fit is impossible for me. I wear regular width 36 but in this shoe, although the foot bed fits perfectly, the upper is way too loose without enough adjustment to take up all the slack so the shoes literally walk off my feet even with thick socks and on the tightest buckle adjustment. I have ordered in narrow and the foot bed is much too narrow for my foot (which is regular width by the way). So now after ordering and sending back 4 different pair, I give up trying to find winter appropriate Birkenstocks.

Only for folks with wide feet!

When Birkenstock made these unisex, they became too sloppy on my feet. So disappointing! My old pair wore out, and I ordered these. I thought I had accidentally ordered men's.

Great shoe, but do NOT get the black suede! The color rubbed off on my feet and my socks. Had to return them and Zappos was amazing as usual and replaced it with another color. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the color problem.

Not great if you have flat feet. There is something weird about the way they make my feet land. Kind of like my toe in the air. Beware of this shoe if you have flat fee.

Inconsistent sizing! I've worn Birks sandals for years. In shopping for a shoe, I was advised to size up and go with a narrow so, I did. Even in doing this, the shoe was too short. Surprisingly, when I tried the same size on in a retail store, it fit. They didn't have the color I wanted so I turned to Zappos. Going up an additional size only provided a shoe that fell off of my foot. I've never had a problem with a Birk sandal...Buyer beware.

These were what I ordered. However, they are a Christmas gift and came all scuffed up, like they were used! I guess I'll let them open them and then send them back after Christmas for a replacement. But, I don't want to now as I'm not sure if I'd get them in time. First time I've ever had this happen with zappos.

The snap on the left foot was defective and wouldn't stay snapped. In the process of returning and re-ordering.

This shoe was very uncomfortable. The arch was so hard there was no way I could stand wearing them. I put them on, took a few steps and it was actually painful.

I was expecting a lot from these but they are the uncomfortable shoes I have ever purchased. I donated them as I had worn them,

Size was a bit big. the left button broke after only 2 months of owning. I wore these 8 times tops, and only to do errands, not walking any great distance. for $160 shoes I was highly disappointed.
