Suddenly I've started having achy feet and toes...my Birkenstock sandals were my ONLY comfy shoes! So I bought these...which are GREAT and they have a soft footbed. The podiatrist likes them for me because of the arch support and deep heelcup. I am very thankful for Birkenstocks!

I had a pair of these years ago. These fit the same as my old ones. Just great shoes.

Even though I'm returning these, I was actually pleased with the overall appearance. Apparently the multiple foot surgeries I've had are making it almost impossible to find a comfortable shoe, so I'll keep looking. While the 38N seems a little large for my 7.5 foot, the shoe is perhaps just more than my poor, old feet can handle. It's not easy accepting the fact that I truly need old lady shoes! Thanks, Zappos, for making it simple to continue my search.

Bought these to replace my Dansko work shoes as I’m pregnant and approaching my third trimester and they no longer fit me. I have several Arizona pairs in the soft footbed and got my usual size (which is 1 full size smaller than typical US sizes). These fit perfectly but because of the enclosed nature of the shoe, these fit tight across the top of the foot at first. However, after wearing these at home for a couple days, they felt sufficiently broken in.

These are great and I can’t wait to put them on after wearing high heels to work.

I am 33 weeks pregnant and these are the comfiest shoes ever! Definitely got happy feet!

My third pair of Birkenstocks (Boston). Just because. I have 2 in suede; the new ones are in oiled leather and they are my favorite shoes. No, you can’t wear them with everything; you just want to.

These were for my husband. I am a Birkenstock (regular footbed) lover and he wanted to try them. I have always found Birks to be true to size, but he found that he had to go up a size. I am not sure if the soft footbed runs a little smaller or they felt smaller because he has really wide feet. He loves them so far.

- Great product - Looks and feels good - I usually wear a size 6 or 7 (ie: 39 or 40), but had to size down significantly to a size 36

The size was too short in the length. I normally wear a women's 10 and I ordered the 41 which should fit a size 10-10.5. I will bump up to the 42. Because the length is a bit short, the arch may not have aligned correctly to my arch and the shoe felt slightly uncomfortable. Hopefully, the next size up will feel more comfortable. The color/material, the oiled Habana is very neutral and earthy and will go with just about anything.

Very comfy and warm too. I got these for the winter so that my toes don't get cold from wearing Arizona style Birks. The suede is the best!

Got these shoes to wear working full-time as a baker, which means long days on my feet. I also have an injured ankle and a collapsing arch, so I need shoes with great support, as well as shoes that can accommodate my wide feet. These are super comfy right out of the box, the soft footbed is definitely worth it for those 11 hour days, and I still feel like my feet can breathe. Basically these are the third pair of Birks that I will essentially end up living in. I love them. My only complaint is that the mocha suede is a lot darker in person than in the photos, but I can live with that. Definitely recommend Birkenstocks of any sort.

I wear a 6.5/7 and the 37 Regular fit great. I have a somewhat wide forefoot, narrow heel, high instep, plantar fasciitis, and arthritis (knees and elsewhere). I have very sensitive feet and it's hard to find just the right shoes. The past two winters I've lived in Haflinger clogs (adjustable styles -- Journey, etc.) but come Spring I've had nothing but trouble finding something. I tried the Boston clogs last year -- in suede to allow for extra girth at my instep and they fit fine, but I just can't wear them walking around a lot. This year I decided to try the Boston clogs with the soft footbed and I'm so glad I did -- I've been wearing them for days with no break in. The softer footbed still provides excellent arch support and may have a little more metatarsal support. I've already ordered another pair in the smooth leather to see if they will fit as comfortably across my instep.

These seem to be a full size larger than what my shoe size is. I have to return and get the next size down.

Since a lot of people are writing about how this shoe works with various foot problems, I'll chime in. The leather is very thick and firm. I have hammertoes, which means some toes are drawn up so that the joint is more elevated than normal. The toebox of the Boston is toe-wigglingly, breautifully wide but not high, and this is the part of the shoe I'm breaking in. A blogger advised sanding the trouble spot just a bit (on the INSIDE!), applying a little coconut oil and wearing the shoes. I'm following this advice and it seems to be helping. So I don't expect an extended death battle between the uppers and my toes. They should be fully comfortable next week. The soft footbed is a cakewalk. As for the style, there is some disagreement about Birkenstocks generally, with some calling them ugly and others loving them. I think they're like bulldogs - homely, but with their own particular irresistability. This is not a shoe I would wear to work (standing on hard concrete 12 hours a shift) - only Joyas will do for that. But it's a pleasure to come home, put these on, and experience that wide toe box.

I love my Birkenstock sandals, and have wanted a pair of clogs since my first pair. These deliver in comfort and convenience.

They are not as unfashionable as I thought they would be, when I asked my husband what he thought he just shrugged and said they look like birks haha whatever that means. I wear a 41R in birk sandals and that is also the size I wore in these.

Great fit and quality. Suede is very soft and a little thinner than a similar pair I'd bought 20+ years ago.

These were perfect and just what I was looking for - a comfy clog to wear on casual days. There is no extra lining for warmth - just basic and simple - but the same wonderful comfy footbed that Birks always deliver o. I have a narrow foot and Birks always fit me a size big so although I am always a 5 in US shoes, I always have to wear a 4-4.5 in Birks

Loved them from the minute I slipped them on. Went with the narrow width as I’m a female, and it is perfect. Not too narrow and the buckles provide plenty of flexibility to adjust for different sock thicknesses. Missed the comfort of my Gizah’s once it got cold and wanted something I could wear in the winter in the house that had better arch support than slippers. These are absolutely perfect and look cute with skinny jeans so I can wear them as a casual shoe too!

I love these shoes but I should have listened to the reviews and gotten a size smaller. I got the Narrow thinking that would be enough but they’re still too roomy. I like a snug Birkenstock fit, especially because I got the suede and I know they’ll stretch more than the leather.

I love these! They felt broken in by the end of the first day. Even better than being barefoot:)

Great to wear with skinny jeans rolled up to show off a fun pair of socks. I’m a 7.5 and the 38 fit perfect!
