This shoe feels like I’m walking on a cloud! Absolutely love Boston softbed!!

These things are tiny! Choosing my usual size, I could barely get these halfway on my feet! The build quality is nice, though. So I guess they’ve got that going for them.

In open toed Birkenstocks I wear a 39. I’m thinking a 40 would be better in these, as my toes are right at the end of the shoe. But they are very soft and comfortable. Hoping I can find the right size.

I’ve been a long time Birkenstock lover, and the soft footbed is absolutely amazing! Love the style of the Boston sandals with wide toe box and arch support. They are very comfortable especially if you have foot pain. I had surgery a couple of months ago, and these sandals are great for recovery.

I have a wide foot and purchased the regular width, which are perfect. If you have narrow feet, definitely get the narrow version. I have a serious case of plantar fasciitis, so I have been switching over to more supportive shoes. These are great for plantar fasciitis, but still cute.

Ordered the same size I wear in Birkenstock sandals, but because of the closed toe, too short. I will be returning the shoes and ordering the next size up. Will wait till I order/receive the new size before reviewing, but am quite certain they will be a “go”.

Birkenstock’s are the best - hands down. As a RN nothing beats the comfort in 12-16 hr shifts! Zappos is also the VERY BEST place to get them. Never a problem, and even during the covid19 pandemic delivered in a couple days!! Never shop anywhere else!!

Have terrible feet. Bunions, and hammer toes. These are great for the house and short walks. Comfortable.

It's been a while since I have had a pair of Birks. I am glad I opted for the narrow width based on other reviews. I am either a size 6.5 or 7 and the size 37 are a perfect fit. The footbed is very comfortable. I have worn them around the house to break them in, but I don't think I even need to break them in.

The fit is excellent. I have strangely shaped feet: very wide, and somewhat tall. With the extra width that the Birkenstock "regular" provides, I can go down from a 9-9.5 to a 7 (38), which is much closer to the true length of my foot. They are also sufficiently tall for my arches, though they do rub on the tops until broken in. I love the cork footbed: I sprained my ankle earlier this year and have found myself needing arch support ever since, so I traded some flats for these. They do take a while to break in, but I find that most of that is spent softening the leather rather than "shaping the footbed." I got the Black Amalfi leather finish.

I purchased these as slippers to wear around the house. I considered the Sherpa lined ones but they had bad reviews that the lining wore down. I wear socks with these anyway at home. I really like them. They have good arch support and were comfortable out of the box . I purchased regular width and don’t have fat feet and they fit well. Same size as my Birkenstock sandals. I recommend.

Never having purchased Birkenstock’s before, I was hesitant to take the plunge based on so many positive, yet mixed reviews, in addition to the quite hefty price tag. I wear a Woman’s 9, regular width and based on the reviews, bought them in the narrow width. They are true to size and were fine in the width. I’m definitely perplexed, however, at the notion of these having a soft footbed, as per the title and description. If these are soft, I really wouldn’t want to know how the original footbed feels. They feel quite hard and unforgiving. I am willing to give them the chance to break in as numerous reviews suggest is necessary. Word of caution, the dark brown leather has stained my socks. That’s not a deal breaker in my book. Lastly, I have plantar fasciitis, and this brand comes recommended for this condition. They do have some arch support and I would say they are helpful in regards to pain relief.

While the description shows a size range 10-10.5, the actual box when received shows 10. I'm a true 10.5 and the 41 (Eur) was too small. Did not fit with or without socks. Same with my husband's pair. Will need to return for a larger size. The width was good and the style cute.

I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks for 40 years, but haven’t had a pair of Boston in a long time. My feet are more sensitive now due to arthritis and fibromyalgia, so the soft footbed and regular width is perfect. The leather upper is sturdy and will take a few wearings to break in, but I also know these will last me a very long time.

I wear a women’s size 8 and the unisex size 39 narrow fit perfectly

If you order, use European sizing, I’m a 37/7 but Zappos sizing says a 37 is a 6. The regular width made these tight and uncomfortable but when I got the wide they were perfect (can even wear with socks).

I listened to reviewers, so my size 10 feet downsized to a 40. They are too short, some I'm going back with my size 41. Otherwise, great ugly shoes!

Just what I was looking for - the familiar comfort of Birks. Love the navy suede, too.

The size of these are way off. I ordered a 39, knowing that was my size because I have a pair of Gizehs but these are a whole size off. When I hold them up sole to sole with the Sandels there’s nearly an inch difference. I threw away my box before wearing these because I was certain of my sizing so now I can’t return. But I plan on contacting Birks to see what the deal is.

Don’t get the Leather if you plan to wear without socks. I’m in my 40’s and have worn Birkenstock’s since I was a teenager. This is my second pair of the soft footbed but my first ever pair of closed toe clogs. The upper leather is incredibly stiff and quickly becomes painful on bare feet. I should have ordered these in suede. I’ve even run them through my clothes dryer in a pillowcase on low heat (I’m that desperate). Definitely get the soft footbed but think twice about the stiffness of the leather upper. I don’t think they will ever get soft.

I just could not get past the ugly finish of these shoes! I was looking for something other than suede in a Birkenstock, but this one is not it! They look like rubber, so shiny. I am returning.

Perfect right out of the box and narrow enough for my feet. Plenty of support for my plantar fasciitis. Not high fashion but serious comfort!
