These shoes are wonderful. I walk a lot during the day on concrete floors. At the end of the day, my feet and legs are no longer tired and achy. I have ended up wearing these almost everyday. Plan on buying more in other colors. They tend to be a little wider than expected, so if you foot is average, order the narrow.

I normally wear 6.5 and have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. I wear a 37 in most European shoes. But I wear a 36 in Birkenstock sandals. I bought the Boston soft footbed in a 36, in black suede. It feels sloppy on my foot, like I have to work to keep it on. Even with the straps tightened all the way. Otherwise it’s the usual comfy Birk footbed. The black suede also had a burnished (worn?) round spot on the top of both shoes that was noticeable. I returned them. For the price, they should be perfect and I didn’t like the fit.

Returning these because the color (which looks like a dark, rich navy online) is very off. It is lighter, more of a cadet blue, and not nearly as nice or what I was looking for. I listened to reviews and got a narrow instead of my normal medium for Birkenstocks, and that was definitely the way to go.

I don’t even think these are real birks. Smell like glue, sizing is off and they are scuffed. Also were delivered in an Amazon truck. Won’t be ordering from Zappos again! Returning .

These shoes arrived with a broken strap and they appeared to have been used. They also arrived in an Amazon bag with no shoe box. Very weird - we returned them.

After years of trying to wear Birkenstocks, I’m finally giving up. I’ve done all of the break-in things, waited for weeks, and they still kill my feet. I think my toes are the wrong length for these shoes. If the toe bar hits in the right place, the heel does not. I really wanted to love these shoes, but I don’t want to be in pain all day.

Disappointed because I ordered from Zappos expected the item to come in a box. My order came from Amazon in a paper mailer with suede shoes in a plastic bag. Returned immediately.

i will not accept a $158 pair of shoes that come without a shoe box. and, appear to have been worn.

I keep getting a grey knock off Boston clog when I should be getting the color taupe! The buckle on the sides say Birken? Not Birkenstock. Every image I google and even my other Birks say Birkenstock.

I dont think these are original. They came in a random box and feel/look VERY different than the bostons that are from the real birks website! Not worth $150!!! I’ll be buying them from the real deal

I ordered this pair of shoes 3 times..... All 3 times I received the original footbed, not the soft footbed. I attempted to contact customer service about my concerns that this happened 3 times. I was told they would review their processes but want to warn anyone looking to purchase the soft footbed that you likely will not receive what you are ordering! I love Birks! But I want to receive what I order. Beware!!

Four pairs of Boston Birkenstocks have had scuff marks and defective suede. Unacceptable

So happy to finally have a pair of these shoes. I ordered my usual size 40 regular, my toe box is on the wider side so they fit perfect. Great arch support for my high arches, nice soft footbed. Arrived in its original box with tags intact, no signs of wear. Super happy with them.

Love these!! However I think they run a full size big. I’m a true 7.5 and a 38 is way too big. Sized down to a 37 and they are perfect.

I put off purchasing these shoes because it seems I see them everywhere. I finally did it when I wore out my Birkenstock sandals this year and now I see what the fuss is about…comfort! Thanks for making comfortable shoes “stylish”. On a one week vacation I wore these with skirts, wool tights and a dress, leggings and crop top, lounge pants like sweats, and also to work for a couple days. I felt perfectly comfortable in all occasions and I have put many miles on already with no signs of wear. There was no need for “breaking in”. I sized up for room with socks and for a bunion and am so happy to have these finally. The taupe color is almost like cement and it goes with just about everything. I prefer this style with the copper colored metallic buckle instead of the plastic pieces on some others. Such a versatile well-made shoe. Five stars all around.

I have lots of Birkenstocks - mostly Arizonas - and I only recently decided I liked the Boston because they seemed to look better than I thought they would on models in ads and review pics. They fit well - I got a US Womens 9 regular because my feet are very wide. 9 is my typical size in most shoe brands. I wear socks with these and although I probably don’t need them, I do think they will be a classic, long wearing shoe style that will last for years. I got the neutral beige color.

They’re Birkenstocks, they’re not going to win any fashion awards. But thank God for Birkenstocks, because they fit my wide feet, when I can’t squeeze my foot into most shoes, even when I go up a size. I love these clogs, I can even wear them with thick socks. Yay.

I had been wearing Birkenstocks for many years and when I retired for some reason I started wearing more traditional shoes. I am very happy to have my Birks back. Feels like an old friend. Took them out of the box and right on my feet where they have stayed.

I got my first pair of Bostons 23 years ago, and wore them often, until the sole wore through to show cork & leather. I loved them, but they wore out, and to get them repaired was going to cost nearly 2/3 the cost of a new pair. I really wish that the soles were more durable than they are. In general, I get about a year’s daily usage out of my Birkenstocks until I have to take them to the shop to get them re-soled, at roughly $50-$60 per pair. Despite all of this, I continue to wear Birkenstocks because they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put my feet into and they make my sciatica pain go completely away. I finally broke down and bought a second pair of Bostons, and they are everything that I remember my first pair to be. I just hope I don’t wear them out too quickly.

I am normally a size 8 but sized down to a 7/7.5 and they fit perfectly. Unless you have wide feet, I suggest ordering the "narrow" option as the regulars are very wide.

These run a size small for me. I wear a 9 but I ordered an 8 {41). They fit perfectly. Some room in the toe box because they are a closed sandal. I tightened the straps all the way down and I can wear them barefoot or with socks. No break in period as the soft footbed is easier on the feet. I get lots of compliments on them from both women and men.

I usually order a 41 in Birks. For this particular style, i had to order a size up. Besides that: Love them!

If you order a narrow order up for sizing. For some reason the narrow sizes are shorter.
