Castro yo! These shoes are dope. They look 'dressy' enough to wear to work. Fit much smaller that my actual skate shoes. I usually wear a 10.5, my Castros are 9. Weird. Anyway, not meant for skating but are a comfy alternative to penny loafer.

Globe 5 star slips - The slips made by globe are the best on the market. The hard rubber sole bottom allows you to wear them anywhere. Continued comfort to tired feet all day long.

Flawed Design - I bought my Castro for use as slippers (for a 55 year old man) in a carpeted home, so they saw very light service. After a few months the left shoe broke in half at the front edge of the black rectangle in the sole. Then it quickly failed completely across the area that bends with my step. They were nice until that happened.

I have the red plaid ones. They are so cool and comfortable. When I got them and I wore them to school everyone said they looked awesome.

Good and bad - I bought the blue ones. They look completely sick, and are totally comfortable. You may have seen a few reviews talking about the top stitching coming undone. I'm sad to report this is 100% true, in my case. I managed to MacGyver up a solution, and it appears to be holding, but you know...my checkered Vans are indestructible. Globe really should address this design problem, because not everyone out there likes to play emergency cobbler.

Castro - I got the red and black alligator color way and it is awesome. It is comfortable and pretty light. I just wear them around my house, but they are great shoes.

Good shoe, not as warm though - I love this little slip on, I thought it would be warmer then it is, but if you wear socks with them they are nice.

The Newest Cool Shoe - I ordered these for my 12 year old son. He wanted these for months, and I looked everywhere else for them. They never had his size. So I went to Zappos, (my favorite site) and found them in his size. I ordered them, and they arrived the next day. My son, came home from school, and saw the box, on our front step. He was so ecstatic. I got home from work, and he said "Thanks Mom, I love them." So, I will always get his shoes from Zappos. Guaranteed!

I got the black one and they are extremely comfortable. I wore these last night at work and my feet never got tired or sore. I love these shoes!!!!

Yes! These shoes are sweet, amazing style, I got the tweed ones. Yes, very nice. I broke them in the first weekend I had them and they are absolutely great now. Only negative aspect is the fact that my heel slips out sometimes, but whatever, they're worth the price I payed. Get some.

Doesn't fit true to size - These shoes do not fit true to size. I wear a 13 in mens in every shoe I've purchased in the last decade. These shoes are 1/2 size too big for your size, but do not come in half size. If you wear a 9 1/2 get a 10 and you'll be alright. If you wear a whole size, you are out of luck, they will not fit well. They will slip off your heels or hurt your toes.

Best shoe ever. This shoe does it all. Depending upon what you’re going for it can be a: dress shoe, house slipper, work out shoe, bar shoe or anything else except maybe an athletic shoe (although you can skate in it but I wouldn’t recommend it). Choose your style and go, super comfy; just buy some Dr. Scholl’s and your walking on heaven.

Awesome - These shoes are so fly; they will make people jealous. Extra comfortable and warm! (But don't buy them for skating, obviously, cuz your heel will fly out the back; these are just for chillin').

Best Slip On Ever - Great shoe perfect for anything; whether going out with friends or just chilling. Only comes in whole sizes so it’s better to go with a whole size smaller than you really are. They look great I have 2 pair myself really comfortable.

Comfy! When I first put these on, I was amazed about how comfortable these are. I have the White/Black/Gold ones and they look more like a loafer than a sneaker. And they go with jeans very well. I hope they come out with more styles in leather.

Good Buy - Really comfortable shoe, highly recommend!!

Globe Castro - I got these shoes, and while they were a little snug (the 8s were much too large so I got a 7) they were perfect, very comfortable. However less than a month after buying them, the top completely ripped near the stitching. Maybe it's just the shoe, or the fact that they had added pressure due to them being a bit tight. Either way, the material there is very thin, so if you find yourself fitting maybe *too* snuggly into them, I suggest going up a size, especially if you plan on being relatively active in them (I only wore them to and from class and they still ripped). Otherwise, they look and feel great and I still wear them regardless of them being broken.

The Castro - I grabbed the White/Black with gold trim... The first thing I noticed, because I have a huge foot in all dimensions, is the top of your mid-foot when you put the shoe on, is tight around that area. Almost to the point that it feels uneasy. I think it’s the way they manufacture the shoe. But after the second day you can tell they start to break in. It’s the leather. Great shoe all around. Perfect for slipping on and going anywhere. Feels like a shoe with the thick sole. She's a keeper!
