These shoes are sick! I have these shoes in the white leather. Now I feel like I need a smoking jacket. Just like Heff! Also they came in an awesome giant cigar box! Very tight!

My Boyfriend's Feet are Sexy Now - I bought these for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day and he not only loves them, but he looks fantastic in them and they've been quite toasty during this harsh mid-west winter. He also LOVES that they have hard soles so he can run out to warm up the car, get the mail, or take out the trash without worrying about changing shoes often. And did I mention he looks sexy in them?

Good service! My son is a faithful viewer of your site. We've gotten a few pair of shoes for him here. He and now I are both customers for life.

Comfy and stylish - I hate socks and shoes so I normally wear sandals...well, the Ohio winters aren't great for sandals, so I needed something new. I bought a pair of the plaid Castro's. Really comfy, they fit my style, and priced right...I wear a 10.5 normally, but had to buy a 10 per other reviews, after one night out they fit like a glove!

Comfort and fit was great! I got these for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. He loved them, said they fit great and were comfortable. The only problem he noticed was that the stitching started to come undone after a few weeks of use. He tied a knot so it won't keep unraveling, because he really likes them. As for Zappos and their shipping process/ customer service, they are wonderful!!! You order something and I swear it's there the next day or day after depending on the time.

Great style, great comfort - I love these shoes, they are very comfortable to just ware around the house and look good enough to ware out.

Castros are CLASSIC - The Globe Castros are an instant classic as far as design goes. The shoe provides a new twist to the average slip on shoe produced by other shoe companies. Aside from the unique, but attractive design, the shoe's sizing seems to be a problem. A half size smaller than what is supposed to be. I wear a 12, but the 12 felt a half size too small. Aside from the size, the durability of the shoe is a little questionable. The sole wears fast and the top leather cracks fast.

Awesome - I've bought a pair last year I still have them and I still wear them every day there awesome shoes that last a long time very comfortable…

Great looking shoe for a certain type of person. These things are like slippers to me. I also wish they came in half sizes. I believe the brand is a skater shoe company, so they probably are supposed to be floppin' around on me. By the way, Zappos.com is the best company around these days! No joke.

Got to get a pair! I get many complements on all my different globes...and everyone always ask where I get them from! Awesome shoes...I have 6 pairs and they last a long time!

Runs large? Quite the opposite - I read on here they run large, and I have to say I had exactly the opposite experience. I normally wear a 12 so I purchased an 11 on here. The shoes are so small I double checked to make sure it wasn't a child's version of the shoe! I don't know if globe just has poor quality control with regards to size or what...

I'm a 10 1/2 and from the other reviews I read that you should go a size smaller. I did so but found them to be almost too small. If I would buy them again, I would have bought an 11 instead of a 10. Overall, though, I like the slipper and find they are holding up well when I take the dogs out back in the yard.

I bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them. He wears an 11 and the shoes seemed a little big for him, but they fit well with socks.

Great for male or female - Overall good shoe but not the best for long distance walking/mall walking...not great support. Made durable and have good looks.

All around great shoe - I honestly have no complaints at all about this shoe. I do have oddly shaped feet, in that they are relatively short (top to sole) but relatively long (heel to toe) for my frame. I often have trouble with slip-on and other non-tying shoes not staying put. My regular shoes are usually tied so tight that the tongue is hidden entirely and they are laced almost together. That said, I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered down (I usually wear 10.5-11.5, and I went with a 10). I am very glad I did, as they fit very well and the larger size would no doubt have fallen off of my feet. I got the all white ones for work (in a hospital) and I am definitely buying at least one pair for day to day wear.

Roomy - I normally take a men's 7.5. Because that specific size was not available I purchased Size 8. I was able to wear the slipper comfortably with a sweat sock although my foot was very warm. Great slipper but I wish it had come in Size 7.5.

Better with time - Most reviews are when the shoes are new. You really should get them a size smaller than you wear. Especially if your a 1/2 size. They do stretch out a lot after a few weeks or even a month if your wear em alot. The one w/o the fringe on the tongue is more practical. You can wear em with more. I've found the foot bed to give pretty good support. Plus if they are tight on top they will stay on better when they stretch out. Very soft and comfy. Easy to slip on. The back bends easy to get your foot in then it pops back up so it goes on. Push down a few times with your heel and it’s on. The back always comes back up. I wear mine with socks so they don't stink.

Good shoe true to size unique style - Sometimes the shoe looks like my Dad's slippers but it brings a unique style and vibe. A true loafer with some skate shoe attitude.

More like Flip-Flops not Slippers - I love the look of these shoes but I got them to wear as slippers and they only work as slippers when I'm wearing thick socks - otherwise they're basically closed-toed flip flops. They won't last the season because as soon as it warms up and I stop wearing socks to bed these will be utterly useless to me.

Classy Shoe - The Globe Castros are a great casual shoe. Very comfortable, casual look that comes in many styles/colors. Everyone should have a pair for lounging around in.

My wife calls them my "Heffs," as in Hugh Heffners! I am a Vans junkie, but they are having less and less styles in my size. My wife ordered these for me, and I haven't taken them off since. I can go straight from the couch, right for a quick run to the gas station. I love them! Very comfortable, and good looking. Glad I found some other shoes to love.

Sweet Ass Shoes - I bought the tweed Castros and they are sweet. I have gotten so many complements on my tweed shoe! And they are super comfortable. You can’t beat it, stylish and comfortable!

Runs small! These shoes are exactly what the picture looks like but the shoe size ran about 1/2 size too small.

Ehhh. The fit of the Globe Castros is horrible. They feel a half size or so larger than marked, but they are so narrow that they feel smaller than they actually are. To clear things up, if you have wide feet and order your normal size, they will be way too narrow in the front, but way too big in the back, which makes them both hurt your feet and flop up and down all at the same time. Overall, I am very disappointed.
