Awesome! These shoes are amazing when broken, take a few wears though. Shipping was excellent!

I ride bikes, so should you! I ride bikes A LOT, so I need a shoe that can be abused over and over, so I turned to the Vans Rowley XL III and I love it! I have beaten the crap out of them and have no rips or tears or glue coming apart at all. They look awesome and grip a pedal like you wouldn’t believe. I am going to ride Vans from now on. This shoe rocks, buy it.

Vans ROWLEY 6 - This is a good shoe, but the fact that no rubber or any abrasive materials were used makes the shoe last about 3 weeks for a hard skater. Again, they feel good and are padded nice, but plan on having them for a very short amount of time.
I'd also recommend:
Go with DC Super Suede...One pair of the JK6's lasted me about 8 months, and I skate very hard.

Vans rule! As usual! This shoe looks really good, and is really comfy. They take a few wears to really break in, because they mold to your foot. Once they are broken in, you'll fall in love. Great shoe.

Comfortable shoes! I love Vans shoes, they are always so comfortable and though my ex says they are for young men in style, I love the look and think for a 62 tear old man, I look pretty hip! My only problem was that the shoe has a white band around the entire sole and in the photo; it only has the white strip on the sides. I would have preferred that look.

Love these shoes - I was a little apprehensive about ordering these sight-unseen (foot-unseen?) but after reading all the other reviews that they seemed to be true-to-size; I gave in and ordered them. They got here, and they're perfect. Look great, lots of padding, super-grippy soles. I have wide (and flat) 11.5 feet and they're spot-on. I hate buying the same pair of shoes twice, but these might break me of that complex.

Perfect - I have a wide foot and I'm pretty limited on what shoes I can wear. These aren't listed as being wide, but they are. They're extremely comfortable and the last pair I had lasted me just under three years as my primary shoes. Highly recommend.

Raddest shoe everrrr - I got 'em in white. They're true to fit, and skate really well. Not only are they stylish, but they're durable and I haven't shredded them yet, and it's been like two weeks of skating them. Five stars.

Vans generally make good shoes, but durability goes to the D3s

Review - Definitely some good skate shoes. I was worried that the shoe may not fit because everyone on here said they were either too large or too small, but they fit perfectly. I got the same size that I get in every shoe. Also, I wear 11.5, so I try to get shoes that don't make my feet look larger than they already are. These shoes look good and they have plenty of steez to go around. I was also surprised in how light they were. Overall it’s a great shoe and don’t hesitate to buy them because you’re not sure of durability or size. They have lasted as long as any other of my shoes, so they are obviously durable.

Rowley review - These shoes look and feel really good. The grip of the sole is what made me wanna choose these shoes over other companies.

My 2nd pair of Vans - I ordered a size 10 because the last pair of Vans I had was that size. These were slightly larger, perhaps a half-size, so I would get a 9.5 next time. The shoes started off kinda stiff, but after a week or two of wearing them, I think they've loosened up.

The perfect shoe order. I am pleased with my shoe order from Zappos. The Vans were delivered on time, promptly and fit perfectly. I am sure I will order again from Zappos in the future.

Another great Rowley shoe - I have had the past two Rowley shoes. Vans sure can make a comfy shoe. I recommend to anyone with big feet. It only took ten minutes to break into my foot.

Great for skating - These shoes are really great for skating. I’ve had at least 3 pairs of ‘em and I loved all of ‘em. They look a lot better in real life instead of online. Lemme tell you that much. Also, takes only like 5 mins to break ‘em in for skating! Great shoes.

Vans Rowley XL III - These shoes rock! I purchased the peacoat/white ones. I've had these shoes for about 5 months now. They are so durable, comfortable, and lightweight. I wear them almost everyday. When I skate in them they hold up very well and still look as good as new. I highly recommend these! Buy 'em! :)

Amazing shoes- vans for life - These shoes are rad; they look fantastic in most colorways, and they skate like a dream. I wore mine every day during the summer AND skated nearly every single day and they survived. Of course after that summer they weren’t skateable cus the toe was blown out, but they’re still cool for walking around in. The exposed EVA sole prevented ankle rolls too. After these, I got Supras and rolled my ankle and broke it and had a cast, but that’s a different story. Stick with Vans. I’ll skate any Vans shoe in the world, whatever.

Don't Hesitate - These shoes look awesome! And however awesome you think they look online, they look way cooler in real life. They are super comfortable, a tiny bit stiff at first, but not nearly as stiff as most of the other skate shoes out there. Compared to most other skate shoes, these are lighter, more flexible, more comfortable, and better fitting. They have a good amount of padding, but not too much like most other skate shoes. I always feel like most skate shoes are stiff and really big on my feet from all the padding, and the Rowley XL III’s are small, light, and flexible. I own two pairs of these shoes in size 11, and I am going to be getting a third soon because my first pair is finally wearing out. I have tried these on many times, and I have never once had a problem with sizing. Now that I've had these Rowley XL III’s so long, I don't think I could ever go back to the heavy, stiff, clunky skate shoes that all the other skate companies make. With these shoes, you can feel everything that is going on under your feet. I have never been able to say that with any other skate shoes.

The perfect shoe for skateboarders - Comfortable, strong and it has the perfect support for those ankle injuries endured by skateboarders.

Styling and solid shoe - I haven't skated in these yet, but they feel like a great shoe so far. They are certainly snug, but they don't feel a 1/2 size small. They flex and "give" a little to get comfortable. I pulled out the insoles and put in Superfeet (Green) to get more support for my flat feet. Great combo. Good style and good solid feel to them. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great shoe - The suede ones aren’t strong, but they go the distance. They will tear kinda quickly, but they only get a little hole in them. The tread goes fast but it’s still grippy.

Most comfortable shoes I've had in a long time - It's been a long time since I've had such comfortable shoes. And nobody was harmed to make them. Even for biking they are great, stay on the pedals and no discomfort.

Very comfortable and lightweight shoe. The tongue is puffed pretty heavily (which I could do without), but otherwise I have no complaints. Definitely the best looking of all the vegan skateboarding shoes. I recommend taking a look at the Macbeth shoes if you want something non-skate specific.

My Rowley XL III's - These shoes are great! They're very light weight, comfortable, & the look is awesome. They should've made these shoes with a GREEN color option, because that's the color all you friends will be with envy!!!
