Not cushioned - Ad says this shoe has "the best cushioning system in footwear". I don't know where they get that from. This shoe was hard, hard, hard. I put my own insole in on top of their insole and it still injured my heel. I think the shoe would be perfect for a person with really tough feet though.

I am disappointed - I liked the shoes at first, but it felt as though they quickly stretched out and then didn't offer sufficient support either on the bottom or side to side. To be fair, I should mention that on one occasion they got soaked. But I would not buy these again. In contrast, I'm on my third pair of New Balance waterproof walking shoes - they offer far more support, although they are more expensive.

Europe here I go - I bought these shoes for my trip to Europe and really thought it was what I wanted, the problem was the size was not a true 8.5 so by the end of my trip my toes were trying to pop out. It was manageable at first but towards the end of trip my feet hurt. The very thing I was trying to avoid. If I had had a 9 I believe it would have solved my problems! Buy a 1/2 size larger than you think you need that is my recommendation.

I find that the width is great since I wear a narrow in a 91/2, hard to find size. They seem to be a bit short in length, 10 would be too big. The shoe is comfortable to walk but not for standing for a long period.

Most comfortable sneaker ever! Having very wide feet, I have always worn a man's size in New Balance sneakers. They are very comfortable but, being a man's size, felt a bit loose. Having suffered with plantar fasciitis and needing a high arch, I've had no choice but to wear Birkenstocks. I was told about Brook's sneakers and decided to try them. I wish every pair of shoes felt this well. I love them! I ordered a second pair so I don't wear the first pair out!

Comfortable - This are comfortable and give me good support. They are slightly tight, but they are still new.

Brooks's Synergy 2 for women Great on comfort! If you are looking for a very comfortable walking shoe, this is it. What it lacks in looks, it makes up in comfort.

Not good for my foot - These shoes do not fit a true extra wide foot, particularly not one with a high instep as well as a wide foot in the metatarsal area. Going back.
