First comfortable shoes for my particular feet. I am 75 years old and having worn high heels...with an AAA/AA heel all my professional life I developed a bunion on right foot. I walk the treadmill at the gym and do the elliptical machine. No gym shoe including Brooks, New Balance ever felt just right. The best I could do was a Nike as which was hard to find. I must have thousands invested in shoes I give away as they are not comfortable. The Brooks SYNENERY is the best shoe for me. I have them in White, Black and Nubuck beige. I wear only these shoes wherever I go. I wear an orthopedic insert and cushioned socks. My feet do well in these. Highly recommend them... Walked 13 hours at Epcot in sneakers and almost died. The next day I work my beige Brooks. I was fine.

Brooks Synergy 2 - This is my third or fourth pair of Brooks shoes. I have very flat feet, hammer toes and weak ankles that rotate inward. I wear arch supports molded for my feet. I remove the insole and insert mine and have no problems. The shoes are comfortable from day one and they wear well. I have been wearing them with pants and pants suits as regular "walking" shoes no longer work for me. I was a nurse for almost forty years. The toes box is room and heel is stable and comfortable. The insole that comes with the shoes is also fine. I can walk without problems with it.

I Love this shoe! I wear only Brooks running shoes, so selected Brooks for a walking/standing-around shoe. Wow! Super comfortable, no break-in needed. Feels like a sneaker. Only wish it looked less like a sneaker and more like a regular street shoe. I usually wear size 8 shoes, (but 8.5 running shoes) and the size 8 fits great. I highly recommend this shoe!

Excellent walking shoe - A good choice for walking. Black color makes it suitable for use in a variety of situations. Already owned a light-colored pair, so knew what to expect regarding comfort and support. My orthotics fit nicely in the shoe.

Brooks's Synergy 2 - Comfortable shoes for walking.

Should have exchanged - When I received these shoes the right one seemed made wrong where the bottom eyelet and front of the shoe meet. It is permanently bent, distorted. I don't know if they had been returned or if it is just a mfg. defect. Because of problems I was having, I needed to wear the shoes in the house at the time. They are soft and cushiony, although not as supportive as some. The leather is so soft, the toe box is nice and wide, and it feels good on my feet. But maybe the soles are too flexible for my big toe arthritis and metatarsal problems on hard floors. I have not worn them down the stairs (Addiction Walkers the most supportive for ankles) or out the door. Anyway, I now wear them sometimes inside maybe once a week. I rotate my Zappos shoes. Thank goodness for Zappos or I'd be barefoot with these EE feet I've developed! I wear 7 1/2 or 8 size shoes now, but with the Brooks, I take an 8. I do wish I had exchanged the shoes or at least the right one, but since I'm just wearing them inside I'll live with it. I bought black Addiction Walkers for outside, which I have to add ball of foot gel pad to.

Clunky but comfortable - Shoes are similar to Brooks Dyad running shoes -- very comfortable, wide toe box, good support and cushioning. Except for running shoes, these are the only shoes I can wear, and the black color is more discrete than the white. I am looking forward to walking around China in them.

Thanks Brooks!!!! When I first got the shoes I took them out of the box and said WOW!!! These are a nice looking shoe and very soft too. When I put them on I loved them right off the bat!! I wear these shoes on a hard floor everyday for 6 hrs. and my feet feel great; thank you Brooks for making a great shoe.

The perfect shoe - I have really bad heel pain and this shoe came to me recommended by my doctor. My inserts fit very well into the shoe.

Great Shoes! These shoes are very comfortable for all day use and walking and standing for long hours on end. I have purchased about five of these shoes because they are the most comfortable shoes I have come across.

Comfort for my feet at last - I am a transportation supervisor and I am on my feet for 12 hours each day. Until these shoes, I was in agonizing pain but no more. These shoes fit great and they are extremely comfortable. I would recommend them for anyone who needs to stand for long periods of time.

I'll keep buying these as long as they make 'em - Prescribed by my physical therapist and works great with my orthothics.

Brooks Synergy 2 - My wife works on concrete floors and she loves these sneakers. Her feet and legs do not hurt anymore after working all night, the service from Zappos was excellent and I am waiting for them to notify me when the same size is available so that I can order her another pair.

Foot Pillows! Although there may be shoes with more initial cushioning than the Synergy 2, these shoes have cushioning that just doesn't flatten out over time. In addition to an awesome insole, these shoes also have a resilient section in the front of the shoe. I do wear an orthotic for a very high arched foot, and it was necessary for me to trim the foam arch on the insole for a perfect customized fit. The only improvement I would make in these shoes would be slightly longer shoelaces.

Great shoe right out of the box! This shoe is stable, supportive and isn't bad looking. It also accommodates my orthotic easily, although the built in arch supporting system is enough most days. Brooks is right on target for over pronators like me!

Best work shoe I've found yet - I'm on my feet 8-9 hours/day, in and out of my delivery truck and on the concrete floor of the warehouse. These are better than the Reebok walker and better than the less expensive Brooks model because they have a bigger toe box, better support, and a nicer sole. Liked the first pair so much I bought a second pair so I could rotate shoes every other day. Be aware, Brooks run narrow. Their width D is equivalent to a normal medium.

Fantastic Shoes - I love these shoes!!!!! Feels sooo good on your feet, even after 9 hours of work.

Comfortable - I was having trouble finding shoes that feel good on both my feet and these are very comfortable.

A good comfortable shoe that looks good! I have extremely high insteps and a wide foot, so I tried the size 9, double EE this time and felt it was plenty wide. My poor arches weren't used to having support so it took a day or two for them to adapt to a well supportive shoe. The only thing I had to do to accommodate my high instep was change the 54" shoestrings to 60". I really like the support with a younger, sportier look.

Brooks Synergy 2 - These shoes feel great. I am wearing them as a casual work shoe and no one even notices that I am wearing an athletic shoe. My feet are very happy now.

Brook's Synergy 2 - I am so glad I found someone who sold my favorite walking shoe. The Brooks Synergy 2 has great support, wonderful comfort and fits my foot.

Best work shoe I've ever worn - I am a driver for UPS, and I was looking for a shoe that had great support for jumping in and out of a package car all day. This shoe is light, but unbelievably sturdy and strong. It offers all the support I need, and my feet are not tired at the end of a long day. I love it. Best work shoe I've ever worn. The fit is perfect to size. I am very, very happy with everything about it!!

Great Walkers! I really love these shoes! The only thing is, I wish they'd have a little color to them! Other than the color, they are excellent in comfort…

Excellent Shoe - I am a nursing assistant. This shoe is great for all day on your feet! Order a half size bigger, though!
