Made for comfort. I wore the Brooks Walker, for two years. I ordered it, and the Synergy. The Synergy was made for my foot. Instant comfort! I ordered two pair.

Synergy 2, great shoe! Good fit, true to size!

Love These Shoes! I've been wearing Brooks "ARIEL" for years. I was afraid to try any other style until I saw the Synergys in white. I love the comfort and fit of this shoe. My feet are "Happy Campers" at the end of my 12hr shift!

Most comfortable - This is my fifth pair of this particular shoe. I am on my feet all day as an ER nurse. I can take the brand new pair out of the box and wear immediately and have no discomfort with the "break-in". They give great arch support to my flat feet and since wearing I have not been plagued with plantar fasciitis.

Brooks Synergy 2 - These shoes are excellent for people who need a good arch support. They help support my arch so that my knee does not hurt as it did with other shoes. They also last longer than than shoes I had bought before finding these shoes.

Great shoe! This is the only shoe I can wear due to some serious foot problems...it's got good support, great cushioning, and looks good too.

Satisfied Customer - The Brooks Synergy is a great shoe. I have found it to be very comfortable and versatile. I can wear it to the gym or with my comfy jeans. The customer service at Zappos is incredible. I bought a shoe that I wore that did not fit me and they refunded me fully. This is a great company.

Best shoe on the market for walking - I suffer from foot pain as a result of a medical condition. I have tried on literally hundreds shoes and this one is by the far the most comfortable and cushioned out there. Great for wide feet and works with orthotics!

What a nice shoe! This shoe is wonderful right out of the box. The buff/bone color is very attractive, and there is a TON of toe room in this shoe. I have Achilles tendonitis on the left foot and a sore big toe (prone to ingrown toenail) on the right foot. The support, cushion, and toe real estate in this shoe is perfect for me. Best shoe on the planet - I wear a size 10AA. Hard to find shoes. I am on my fourth pair of these over the years. The narrow width is great. I wear them for work and traveling. Zappos is great - fast super service. Thanks Zappos.

Brooks Synergy 2 - Although true to size length-wise, these shoes are very shallow, so are not good for people with high arches. When you lace them up, the sides barely cover the tongue. I have not experienced this issue with any other shoes. The resiliency is good, but not for long walks, as after awhile they don't feel like they are supporting my feet. I won't be purchasing another pair. I expected more for the price.

Great for long, narrow feet - It's a great walking shoe for those of us with long lasts, and narrow widths. Bulky appearance. So many of the shoes manufactured abroad don't even carry narrow sizes and are really designed for short, wide feet. It seems to have better arch support than the New Balances I've tried. I wish I could find 11.5 narrow widths.

Foot Savers! I work in the healthcare profession and have had to wear orthotics for years, this is my second pair of Brooks and I don't have to use the orthotics anymore! They are nicely cushioned to absorb the pounding from the hard hospital floors. Has a nice arch support and the antipronation is great--ready wear from day one--didn't need to break in. Well worth the money!

Brook's Synergy 2 - This shoe has ample toe box room and great cushioning even beneath the removable insole. I have bunions and arthritis and found them the most comfortable of all the shoes I had tried. I also have fallen arches and these shoes have moderate arches so they do not hurt. Thank you Zappos for the great service and ease of returns. I will continue to use Zappos.

Brooks Synergy 2 - I am 76 years old and my arches keep falling and my feet getting longer and also narrow. They held at size 11 for about 5 years and now are 11 and 1/2. I purchased the only shoe I could find and while never wearing this type of shoe was pleasantly surprised at the comfort.

Cushioning plus support for a narrow foot - I'm an 11.5 AA in a dress shoe, so have very limited choice in all shoes. I was thrilled to find the New Balance 800 line, and have worn them for years. There is no comparison in the heel stability or cushioning between the NB and this shoe. I practically bounce down the street. The stability does come at the expense of looks; the heel flairs out, and the shoe looks wide, even though it is a true AA and grips my narrow heel and supports my arch much better than the New Balance. I was able to wear the other as a street shoe when traveling and I'm not sure I'll feel happy doing so with these.

Comfortable - The service is outstanding. My sister is crippled and has to have a wide comfortable shoe. I order all her Brooks online and usually receive them within 1-2 days. The price is very good compared to local stores. They have to order the shoes themselves and the shoes all cost more. Thank You!

Perfect fit and comfort - I finally found the shoe. I have ordered several shoes in the last month and had to return them because they had no support and or did not fit. I put this shoe on and it hugged my foot. Great arch support and when I came home after working all day, no leg pain, foot pain, bunion pain or plantar fasciitis pain… I did not put my orthotic in this shoe at all to test it. All my nagging aches were relieved - Finally. Great shoe Brooks and thank you for excellent shipping Zappos. Buy 1/2 size larger. I wear a 10.5 and I had to send that back and keep the 11.

Pure bliss - High energy job from 6:30 to 7:30 pm on pavement. These are top quality, extremely comfortable, sturdy (and hopefully long lasting) from day one. Got the wide due to bunions on both feet and they are perfect.

First comfortable shoes for my particular feet. I am 75 years old and having worn high heels...with an AAA/AA heel all my professional life I developed a bunion on right foot. I walk the treadmill at the gym and do the elliptical machine. No gym shoe including Brooks, New Balance ever felt just right. The best I could do was a Nike as which was hard to find. I must have thousands invested in shoes I give away as they are not comfortable. The Brooks SYNENERY is the best shoe for me. I have them in White, Black and Nubuck beige. I wear only these shoes wherever I go. I wear an orthopedic insert and cushioned socks. My feet do well in these. Highly recommend them... Walked 13 hours at Epcot in sneakers and almost died. The next day I work my beige Brooks. I was fine.

Brooks Synergy 2 - This is my third or fourth pair of Brooks shoes. I have very flat feet, hammer toes and weak ankles that rotate inward. I wear arch supports molded for my feet. I remove the insole and insert mine and have no problems. The shoes are comfortable from day one and they wear well. I have been wearing them with pants and pants suits as regular "walking" shoes no longer work for me. I was a nurse for almost forty years. The toes box is room and heel is stable and comfortable. The insole that comes with the shoes is also fine. I can walk without problems with it.

I Love this shoe! I wear only Brooks running shoes, so selected Brooks for a walking/standing-around shoe. Wow! Super comfortable, no break-in needed. Feels like a sneaker. Only wish it looked less like a sneaker and more like a regular street shoe. I usually wear size 8 shoes, (but 8.5 running shoes) and the size 8 fits great. I highly recommend this shoe!

Excellent walking shoe - A good choice for walking. Black color makes it suitable for use in a variety of situations. Already owned a light-colored pair, so knew what to expect regarding comfort and support. My orthotics fit nicely in the shoe.
