These are my third pair of these boots, first from Zappos. I'm in construction and these are lace on my feet pretty much seven days a week.I average about four years out of a pair, that's impressive.I hate that I can only get them insulated.. I also hate the lug (mud collecting) soles.. They are as comfortable as can be (wish they weren't insulated)and the soles never wear out..

Nice all around work boot with great tread. Versatile for working inside and out, waterproof and warm. Use Sno-Seal for a darker look that will condition the leather and add and excellent layer of waterproofing while maintaining breath-ability. It will also make the break in period a bit shorter.

As I said above, comfort from the first time I put them on. Stable on wet services. I haven't had them long but I like them a lot. First time customer but I'll be back. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is, I haven't had them but a few months.

Wanted a traditional 8" workboot, ordered these because of good reviews. So far, the only complaint is the eyelet holes on the boots. They are not even, from one side to another. --Must have been the eyelet-maker's first day. Would have preferred to buy them at an "imperfect" price, as that is what they are.

I have had 2 pair now and on both the toe on the boots have worn out to exposed steel toe in under a year of wearing them. All in all comfortable supportive boot but outer material needs reinforcing.

I give the boot a overall 3 stars. I feel like they're not completely honest with the durability of these boots. At first they're good but these aren't even a year old and they already been cracked for a few months, haven't really cared since I live in Las Vegas and it doesn't rain. But already in search for new ones. However back to the point the boots are good for if you don't believe you'll need them that long, maybe 6 months thats around the time mine where cracking etc. But for the price I would've expected them to last longer at least a year. My job isn't even really that bizarre for the boots to be in this condition. If you need something temporary and have no other option why not but if you're looking for something that you depend on and need to last look for something else worth the money. Just my honest opinion but do as you wish with this information.

These Boots are great, they give good support and wear well however as they get worn out they are no longer waterproof, they start to leak right through the leather. They also do not allow your foot to breath, my feet start to sweat right away.

This boot should be used for casual hiking or walking. If used for yard work or digging a hole, the soft rubber sole cracks and the outer sole becomes unglued. This design cannot be repaired by a cobbler.

I was disappointed have gone with timberland pro for over 20 years NEVER had a problem ! This last purchase was a shock ,did not feel right too small length and width You must be having someone new make them for the record advertised size not true to size they are too small and too narrow

I used to really loved these boots, but not anymore. I believe the way the direct attach sole is made has rendered them too painful to wear. There is a huge ridge around the inside edge of the foot area, where I think the leather is folded under before it is glued to the sole. And as far as the width is concerned these are way too narrow to be considered a wide boot.

Terrible boots. I wore them for one work day and my feet were throbbing at the end. No cushioning whatsoever and they left rashes on both ankles. Had to pay $16.25 just to send them back on the "Comfort Guarantee" because Timberland doesn't cover shipping costs on returns and I could not return them under the regular return policy because I was told they were already considered "worn" after one day. A pretty lousy return policy that doesn't leave any room for someone to properly try out and return boots that don't work for them.

I gifted these to my husband the day before Christmas 2023. The heel of the boot is coming off with less than one month of wear.

I am writing this review after having used these boots for 6 months when they were purchased a year ago. Unfortunately these boots fell apart with semi-regular wear and did not hold up as "work boots" should. The boot separated from the sole on the toe portion and then the side of the boot just ripped from the sole on the outside foot area. The boots also have a tag that say they are waterproof, but that is not the case either. These boots are clearly more to have the "look" of work boots, but don't actually function as such- Which is completely ridiculous for how expensive they are. If you're looking for casual boots to wear in the winter or for light work they might be fine, but they are not meant for arduous, everyday work wear by any means.

I think they should put pull loop on the boot. I have told them still no results. Think I will buy different boot next time

Used for 40 Plus years !!! they were Great and had a Great Warranty . But now they Don't . The Boots are only Warrantied For 1 Year and being 80 years Old I only use them for hunting 3 Months of the year. If the soles crack your out of Luck . If they Leak they say BUY another Pair because your out of Luck. What kind of Warranty is That ? I have 2 pair of Tim's right now and 1 pair is starting to leak , they will get trashed and I will purchase another Brand. Thanks Ron Paulino

Wore them maybe 3x over the winter with no problems. Wore them once in a rainstorm in May while walking to my essential job and my feet were soaked. When I brought it to Timberland's attention, I was told I'm out of the warranty period and there was nothing that could be done. No talk or replacement or even how to attempt to re-seal them. The boots are brand new.

I wore these boots daily to work, they lasted great through the summer, but once winter came around they fell apart. After the first one or two storms I was pretty much walking around with ice water in my boots everyday. Wouldn't waste my money on these again.

My son wears this boot in a 15 wide. He gets a new pair approximately every six months. He finds them comfortable. He cannot compare to other brands as most stop at size 13 and a few at 14. Thank you Timberland for making work boots in extended sizes and thanks to Zappos for carrying them!
