Timberland Pro worked better than expected. I purchased them in 12/2014 and today is 11/12/16, and I've put them thru hell. I am on my feet all day (because of low temps here, i use them to bike 12 miles to college everyday) and the boots do well in temperatures ranging from 40 to mid 70's. Below 39 degrees with wind, my toes can 'feel' a bit cool and anything over 75 degrees and I get to hot (while on the bike.) I have used them in pouring rain and thru water puddles, and no leaks. However after about 1 hour in solid rain, the top of the boot can 'feel' a bit damp. But I have checked the boot inside and no moisture. I spend the rest of the day on my feet and found them to be very comfortable. There is no break-in time. They grip well: no slips. No problem with the soles, or wear and tear (2 years later: the boots have bike grease marks, scuffs, and show typical wear marks on the soles.) Was concerned about width but found these true to size: I wear nike mens size 8, asics mens size 8, and Timberland mens direct attach size 8.

I purchased these boots as a gift for my son. He loves them. He said they are a perfect fit, and very warm and comfortable. We recently had a snow storm that dropped 22" of snow, he walked seven miles both ways to work wearing these boots he highly recommend them for the snow.

I needed the boots bad and paid the extra 15 bucks and they came in the time stated. Also great boots, comfortable, durable and rugged and great price!

These boots are great! Really comfortable, very warm (in the winter months), and look great. The heel height gives great protection against getting a nail through your foot but don't feel overly clunky. I did find them a little narrow at first but they have stretched out in the first two weeks of working in them. I also ordered them a half size bigger because I've found Timberlands run a little bit small. I would order a half size up again and add an arch support insole since the shoe lacks good arch support. I've had them for three weeks and already want another pair. Great quality and highly recommended.

First I would like to say thank you for offering footwear in regular widths that is hard to find in stores. The Timberlands are the best value, durable and they last seemingly forever.

You don't but these boots to do hard labor. Those are the facts. These are FASHION BOOTS and that is just what I wanted. NEVER spray suede protector on them. NEVER use saddle soap on them. NEVER use a wet/damp cloth on them. DO clean them with a proper shoe brush and be content with them looking semi dirty. Work that look into your style. Otherwise YOU WILL ruin these boots by trying to clean them...Fair Warning. I have ruined several pair! :)

The boots are replacement for a pair of smiths that had the same design, they do not longer make, it lasted 7 years. Will be used mostly in the winter months for snow removal.
