I've had these for about 6 weeks now. I don't regret the purchase in the least. I don't own a car, so my feet are my main means of transportation. On any given day I walk at least 2 miles getting to/from work. So I need some comfortable shoes that will hold up well. These shoes are much more comfortable than I had originally thought they would be. They have a nice snug fit around the foot. The good kind of snug, not too tight. Another concern I had before getting them was the lack of traction on the bottom being slippery walking around. However, the footing is very sturdy, even when wet. Plus the Onitsuka design is hard to top. 5 stars all around. I foolishly got white ones which are a pain to keep clean. A little household cleaner and a good scrub with an old toothbrush will clean them right up though.

Great shoes for the price. Very stylish, I've already had several very well dressed men compliment me on them, so you know they are good. The fit and support is about what you would expect from a shoe of this price and style. The size is the same as it is in my Nikes. I also like the tread on these shoes they don't seem to be wearing as fast as my Sauconys.

I love these shoes! They're a comfortable fit, and are very stylish. I've already received several compliments on them. Highly recommended! On a side note, my order was upgraded for free to overnight shipping. I placed the order around 9:30 p.m., and the package was sitting on my porch at about 1 p.m. the following day. Amazing! I was in the market for Onitsuka Tiger Asics and found the most color combinations and sizes on Zappos. I ordered them with standard delivery and was told shortly thereafter that I was being upgraded to next day shipping and sure enough...I got them a day later. Unbelievable service! The shoes are great and are everything I expected them to be. The sizing is pretty standard which made it even easier to buy them online. I\'ll definitely be shopping with Zappos in the future.

Received these shoes as a birthday present and really like them. They are comfortable, light, offer good support and traction, and have a unique style. I believe they will be durable by the look and feel of the build quality. I have worn mostly Nike and Adidas in the past and these surpass in terms of comfort, and the style while retro is better than most current entries by the big two. Most recently I have worn Mitre and they really held up for a couple years, so the Asics have big shoes to fill but I think they will. Given the combo of price and quality I do not think you will be disappointed. Interesting color schemes too, I went with the all Red with Blue and White trim. They definitely stand out.

I got these for my boyfriend. The Gray/Black/White ones and they look great. We shopped around for weeks for casual sneakers that can be worn with jeans, casual pants and they even look nice with shorts. He tells me they are comfortable and he wears them all the time.

These shoes are very comfortable, but do run a tad small. I went a half size bigger and they fit perfect. They are very roomy width wise, though.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are so comfy! I can exercise with them or just wear them out causally. My only complaint is that the dye from my jeans wore off on them. It happened with two different pairs, which was annoying. Other than that they are great and I highly recommend them.

This is my third pair of Ultimate 81 and I love them. They are easily the most comfortable pair of sneakers I have ever owned. They fit true to size. I would recommend these shoes to anyone I know.

I love my new Onitsuka Tigers! Love, love love. The fit is great with minimal arch support which is what I really wanted out of a shoe. They're so comfortable I never want to take them off! I ordered half a size larger, per the other reviews on how the shoe fit. Turns out it was too big. The Zappos team sent me the size I needed the next day. I didn't have to wait for them to receive the other shoes. It was amazing. I am totally satisfied with my purchase; I only wish I could've gotten two pairs, in both colors I liked. Ah, next time.

I bought the Black and Grey Tigers. They're the most comfortable shoes I've ever set foot in. Although I was disappointed that once I got the shoe, the black was more of a blueish color, the black looked amazing with the grey in the picture, so I got them. If I'd known, I'd have gotten the all blacks.

I'm a tomboy at heart. Now don't get me wrong, I still love my heels and I wear them daily for work, but these shoes are so cute. These are my first Asics. I normally wear Nikes, but I couldn't pass these up. I got the Grey/Storm Blue and I've gotten so many compliments. I will definitely pick up more colors. I did want the green/white, but they sold out, but luckily I found it elsewhere. Great shoes and comfortable!

I love this shoe. I've owned about 4 pairs of them in the past 6 years, and they have all served me well. Ive found the fit to be perfect and true to size. They break in very well and soon feel like a natural extension of ones foot. I only wish they would re-introduce my favorite color/material combos, all gray leather with cream stripes, and the all black leather with yellow stripes. Ive just purchased the gray (suede/nylon fabric combo) with orange stripes combo and find them to be quite fetching!

I know I will get a lot of wear out of these shoes. I love the look: retro and narrow, not at all bulky. They are the kind you can wear without socks and look great. I purchased the green, white, sliver pair. Very comfortable.

These are, by far, the most comfortable shoes for the sport of fencing that can be bought, and a lot cheaper than shoes actually designed specifically for fencing. Your feet are basically on the floor since the sole is so thin, they almost feel as though you are not wearing shoes at all. This is very nice, because it allows for a complete sense of movement and directional change (critical to my sport). I bought the Red/White color combo, and the flashy design is also extremely useful (forces opponents to focus on my feet, allowing me to be free to take advantage of the attention loss) and fun. The shoes came so quickly that I couldn't understand. Very good shoes.

Asics / Onitsuka Tiger Development/Sales/Marketing Team, or whoever it is that is responsible: Please make new designs available! That or make more of the out-of-stock sizes! Or even better: I bought a pair of these in '03 that were all-suede uppers and then khaki all over, including the sole, with black stripes. They went with near every kind of outfit. They were the perfect shoes. I still wear them despite the nearly worn through sole. Quality shoes and nothing else since has been remotely as comfortable. Perfect fit from the moment I put them on in the store. Make those available here. I promise to buy 3 pair outright. Yeah, that should do it.
