I just ordered my second pair of Ultimate 81's because these shoes are the best I'd ever had. I used to be a true-blue Puma Roma fellow, but once putting these light weight and durable shoes on my feet, I've never looked back. They look great with many dynamic colors, and they're great to walk in. I trudge all over Austin without a care in the world. I'd give these shoes 4.5 overall if I could; there is a slight concern with the very thin rubber sole which wears away rather quickly. Considering I walk approximately an hour per day on concrete, they do well despite their thin soles. My last pair lased approximately 9 months to a year. Thanks for a great product, Asics! Even bigger thanks to Zappos for great service!

Probably the most comfortable shoe I've had in the last 3-4 years. It's very light, cool, and comfortable. For you track day/autosports junkies out there, this shoe is my race day favorite. Gives good pedal feel, is narrow enough for efficient heel-toe work, and is comfortable all day for walking around the pits. My only gripe is that about 4-5 months into owning them the stitching between the mesh and leather above my big toe on both shoes let loose. It's not too noticeable and hasn't gotten much worse in the subsequent 5 or so months, so I'm not to tore-up about it. Overall, it's a cool and comfortable shoe with good support, and should hold up fine if you're not too hard on your shoes. I recommend them.

I love these shoes. I have these shoes in 2 different colors, and I have a few more on my list. They are both stylish and comfortable. The yellow/gold laces make a good accent to the shoes as well. Do you want your feet to look cooler than the rest of you? Then these may be the shoes for you.

I've always loved Onitsukas. They're great looking, no-frills street shoes. I bought a pair of Ultimate 81s for fencing because they have more padding in the heel and better arch support than most of the other designs. As such, it is the only pair of Onitsukas I've worn that you could call athletic. That it comes in white makes it the best looking pair of fencing shoes money can buy.

First off, these (the Black/Birch) Ultimate 81's are vegan. Zappos says only 4 of the colors are vegan, but info from Vegankicks.com says there are more colors made of synthetic leather. They are the Black/Birch, Bright White/Amazon, Indian Yellow/Gold, Red/White, True Blue/Birch, and White/Red. These shoes are so awesome. They are super comfy and look rad. I use them for running (I run barefoot style and these don't have the hideous amount of padding that most running shoes have) and for just walking around and looking awesome. I love them, though I wish Asics still made the black/white Sakura's because those were pretty sweet too. One thing is I usually wear a 6.5 - 7 in womens shoes and everyone said to get a smaller size than what I wear. I got a 6 and it fits perfectly, so I suggest getting 0.5 - 1 size smaller than you usually wear.

This is my 2nd pair of Tigers. They are comfortable, stylish and reasonably priced. These are my new sneaker of choice!

Shoe is comfortable, although it rubs a bit at the heel. Only complaint is that the color I originally wanted was out of stock, then back about a week later -- a day after I wore the shoes outside. I wish Zappos had known/told me sooner! But ordering from Zappos, as always, was speedy and no problems with shipping either way (had to return for size).

The shoes feel great, and I can pretty much mimic a barefoot running stride in them. The only problem is that they are hard to keep clean. I'd get a darker style next time.

I love these kicks. I tend to wear boot leg type or dress pants so they sit nicely over these sneakers. The size and comfort are perfect. They come with both white and yellow/gold laces so you can switch them out if you like. The style and color are both unique and well suited for me. Get them!

I love Onitsuka's. It has a wide toe box and I receive a lot of compliments. There is not much support so I do have to change up my shoes every now and then.

These shoes are awesome. So comfortable and they look retro and sweet. The fabric is great but if you get the white ones they do soil pretty quickly.

Classic shoe! Very comfortable and needs little time to break in. I bought 3 pairs in different colors and like them all. Friends have asked where I got these!

Love the look of these shoes. I have a feminine style but I like my shoes to be boyish and I love the black in the white/mixed black color. Looks as pictured, but the shoe feels a little stiff. Probably just needs some breaking in. I don't like how the toe is not mesh, but some synthetic material. Overall an attractive, good quality shoe but I do understand previous comments about the ankle rubbing. It doesn't rub on me, just noticeable because it sticks to your skin slightly. Wish there were more colors -- can't wait for the white/navy blue to be available in October! Always wear an 8, got an 8.5 wish I had got the 8. As always, extra fast shipping with Zappos! I love these shoes. Someone had recommended these to me as a good driving shoe. They are amazing shoes for driving. The thin sole makes for great pedal control and feel. I have two pair. The pair I have with mesh is great for ventilation. I can feel a breeze in my shoes and the air blowing in my car on my feet. The pair I have without mesh is better for keeping my feet dry in the rain, but are bad for ventilation. I don't think I will go with another brand for a long time.

These are so comfortable. The picture does not do them justice; they as so cute! Even on my big feet! I get so many compliments. Great to walk in - go nice with jeans.

The only shoe I need. It's comfortable, great for short runs, sprinting, casual wear, gym workouts, etc. I own two pairs and will likely be purchasing more. I have found a shoe that fits my life. Zappos has excellent costumer service and a very reasonable return/exchange policy. They are there to please you.

This is the third pair of these that I have ordered. My husband and son are both very pleased with the quality and look of the sneakers.

These are great shoes! Be aware, that when thay are brand new, they\'re a bit firm. I\'ve been wearing Saucony Jazz for years which are like shoe-pillows, so when i started wearing my Tigers, i got a blister on my heel. Now that they are worn in however, they are amazingly comfortable. And they are vegan made. Great shoe.

Shoes are very comfortable! I have a wider foot and they fit great. I love the look of the shoe and have gotten many compliments on them. I wear them to work, to workout, and as casual shoes.

Love them - uber comfortable and look great as well. Thinking about picking up another pair or two!
