I bought my first pair of Onitsuka Tigers, and liked them so much that I bought my second pair a month later. That was four years ago. After wearing them almost every day, I have finally worn a tiny hole in one, so I have come to buy another pair. I never dreamed that I could wear a pair of shoes on 11 hour shifts without pain and that is without adding any fancy insoles. I wanted vegan shoes that were not completely lacking in support like Converse, or tacky looking like most raggedy hippy vegan shoes. These are the best shoes that I have ever owned and I doubt that I will buy anything else.

Comfortable stylish and lightweight. They size a bit big though it's not a problem if you're not trying to run in them.

Cinderella fit! I am a woman and wear an 8 or 8.5 in shoes, depending on manufacturer. The men's' 7, woman's 8.5 is perfect for me. My foot is on the narrow side of regular width, so I was worried that unisex shoes might be too wide, but these are just right. The shoe has a stylish low profile, nothing bulky about it. The arch offers good support. The are not as cushiony as I might have expected, especially under the ball of the foot/toes. My Keds Sportive T-toes feel comfier, by comparison. But these are very comfortable all-day shoes. I ordered the Drizzle color (gray and black with orange laces), and they are snazzy. The gray is a true medium gray and not as dark as charcoal, not as light as dove. They should hide stains/dirt pretty well.

I love these! I have a few pairs in different colors and they are all great. The only thing to keep in mind, is that for the shoes that have some gray/white meshy material, it gets dirty really quickly.

Great shoe. Can go through wear and tear and still look like new. Fits into your foot within a day, the back part is a bit unsupported, just feels like a thin layer of cushion, but you get used to it, and with a good sock its unnoticeable. Looks awesome and feels great! Definitely wouldn't be disappointed in purchasing this shoe.

These sneakers are amazing! Have purchased them in five different colors. They are lightweight, comfortable after a long day of use, and stylish. Couple all that with a reasonable price and you have a winning combo.

I bought my first pair for color alone (green for St. Patrick's Day). But I have since fallen in love with these shoes! I now own six pairs in various color combinations. They are very light weight and super comfortable. The quality is great with these as well.

I really like these shoes. I have three pairs in different color schemes. I am constantly getting complimented on them. I love the way they fit and they do not cause blisters. They are very true to size and I wear them almost every day! Arch support isn't 100% but I have weird feet and use inserts as well.

Awesome shoe! I've bought 4-5 pairs of this model over the past few years. I get complimented quite often on how stylish they are. Also, these are very comfortable & durable. I've never had a quality issue with any of the pairs I've bought in the past. I typically wear 13, but with these I always order size 12.

These are great. Very comfortable and lightweight. These are my second pair. There are a few different versions of this shoe-this styles is the most comfortable.

I love the Onitsuka Tigers! This is my second pair and I wore the last sole down to the nubs. Super comfortable and stylish. These are not for exercise (though perhaps you could use them that way) but for wearing with jeans or shorts, it's great.

I just got my pair in the mail today! The shipping was so incredibly quick and accurate. Packaging came in perfect condition -- shoes in tact with extra laces! Mine came with one shoe in a different colored lace and style. I think that is a really cool feature add. Laced the shoes up and like I said, they fit like a glove. Breathable, supportive, and pretty good-looking overall. If I had to pick one thing I didn't like (which is the only thing), it would be that the backs do come up a little higher than other shoes. I'm sure it'll wear after a little stretching form usage! If you're looking for a general pair of walk around/running shoes, you got it.

I recently purchased some snow boots from Zappos and was pleased with the overall buying experience with my VIP membership, so I looked again to Zappos for a pair of shoes. I didn't know what shoes I wanted, I just like lightweight, comfortable, cool-looking shoes. The Onitsuka Tigers had very good reviews and many color choices to choose from, even some exclusive colors. After reading a handful of reviews, I made the purchase and have really liked them. I have even gotten quite a few compliments on them. At first, the arch support was a little stiff, but after breaking them in, I have been completely satisfied with the fit and comfort. If you want a great looking shoe, that is comfortable and lightweight, the Onitsuka Tigers fit the bill.

Great everyday shoes. I've owned 6 pairs of the Ultimate 81's and it's my favorite shoe for everyday wear. Whether on your feet all day or not, these shoes stay ventilated and comfy. And if you need to run from cops and jump a fence at a moments notice. Well, they're still asics.

I really like Onitsuka Tiger. These are the third pair of shoes I've gotten from Asics. I find the fit is true to what it is said to be. It's a lightweight shoe, wind can blow through fairly easily. The one thing I noticed that bummed me out a bit, was normally they include a second set of laces, usually a different color to change out if you want, and they didn't include them. It's not a deal breaker by any means, just a little bummed.

Good shoe. I have a black pair that I purchased from Journeys, and that pair did not have the extreme arch support than the ones I bought off Zappos. May be good thing for some people, but I do not need the extreme arch. Overall, pretty good.

Comfy shoe, no break in necessary. Noticeable arch support. The shoe is definitely a more narrow shoe but fine for me as I have average feet. Not too narrow. The shoe sole is molded for shape of step movement so rolls with step of foot. I got the black/steel gray and the black is sort of a really dark denim look but still neutral look to it. I usually wear 6.5-7 in womens, 6.5 fit perfect in these. Can't slip the shoe right off as inner surface is grippy so grips against sock. They are a bit slick on smooth wood or muddy surfaces but otherwise, I love the shoe.

It's been about 3 years since I last bought a new pair of shoes and I've been looking at the Asics Ultimate 81 for quite a while. Then one day I decided "I'm buying this," when the new color Black/Fiery Red was released. Bought it, shipping was about 5 bucks from where I was at and had to wait 5-7 days. Being a person that likes to check the shipping status, I saw that it wasn't budging from the main place for about two days. I went on Zappos customer service and sweet mercy, the friendliest service ever. They bumped my original shipping from 5-7 to 3 days and it took no less than 5 minutes. Once I got the shoes, I was overwhelmed on how light it was and the quality. My feet can breathe compared to my previous shoes: Puma G. Vilas. These shoes make me feel like I'm a ninja. I've been having these shoes for about two months and I would buy again, in different colors next time.

These shoes are excellent. I got my first pair back in 2009, and apart from my big tow burrowing its way through the bottom, they lasted me at least two years of solid use. They are very comfortable, have excellent support and look very nice. Just ordered my 2nd pair because I know that they will last.

Extremely comfortable arch support, as well as all-around comfort. Not big and bulky; trim and nice low profile. No big thick sole, just a nice, normal thickness and did I mention really comfortable? Look great! Fit true to size and medium width. Perfect sneaker, no kidding.

Sweet shoes. You don't need me to tell you that if you're looking at these. As for fit, for casual wear I'm usually either 10.5 or 11. I think I read some previous reviews about the Ultimate 81's that said to go for the 11 in this case. That worked out great since there were no 10.5's available. I usually like my shoes snug, it's my worst nightmare to have a shoe that I end up dragging in the back or the toe catches the ground in the front (or even the sensation like that might happen is enough to bother me). That said, the 11's are good for me. They are a bit more loose than some of my other Tigers but not to the point where they bother me at all (and I am very picky). I think if I had tried the 10.5 the might have been tight on the sides around the toes...it's hard to say for sure though.

The type of material that is on the shoe looks slightly different than whats pictured, its kind of a cheap looking plastic type of material that makes them look like old people shoes but I still like them. Good shoes at a good price, worth the purchase.
