I love these shoes! I have had them for about a month now and they still look like new. They are very comfortable and stylish, I went with the black/gray color scheme. Quality materials. I would buy them again

Like other Tiger 81s, these sneakers look good and actually offer a little bit of structure for comfort, and a somewhat grippy sole. Finding form and function is hard. Also these are vegan as far as I can tell (per some definition) and this was accurately described in the Zappos profile (some of them are not).

These are great shoes. Just as expected. The price was good. It was a bit cheaper at my local store, but they only had one color to choose from so I went with Zappos.

I really like these shoes. They are light as a feather, very comfortable, very reasonably priced, and have great style. They fit true to size. I would buy them in every color if I could. I definitely recommend these.

These are exactly what I needed. I've had 3 or 4 pairs of the Mexico 66 style over the past ten years, but when the shop near my workplace stopped carrying them I decided to try a different style for more comfort/easier wearability etc (I always needed an insert for the mexico 66 to be comfortable all day at work). I tried a few other styles, including the Saucony bullet, which was really hugely wide, before deciding to go with this brand again (since I already knew I liked them). My job is very physical and I commute by public transit, so in an average day I am standing or walking for about 9 hours. These shoes are cushioned but not so stiff that it becomes hard to bend at the ball of the foot, and they still have a relatively minimal look/feel. They feel more secure around the ankle then other shoes I've worn in the past (something I didn't realize I was missing). They also have good traction. I have narrow feet and my arches are also kind of narrow. The shoes fit like an "as marked" medium width (meaning, they need to be laced tightly, with socks, to avoid feeling loose). The arch support seems good. Possibly more then I need. During the first week I had some pain at the end of the night in my right arch from the arch support hitting farther forward then I needed it to, but lacing that shoe more tightly has resolved the problem. I have worn these shoes to work every day for two weeks, and have not had any pain with them since the end of the first week.

I've had about 5 different pairs of these shoes, and they are always great. I was wearing flat shoes for so long, I forgot what arch support felt like. They look good with a variety of outfits, and stay comfy for a long time. I will say they are a bit pricy, but I still keep coming back!

I love these shoes, they have become my default. I'm on my third pair. They are super light, comfortable, and have great style, even after I wear them out after wearing them every day for 6 months.

Onitsuka Tigers are the most comfortable exercise show I have ever worn.To say that they mold themselves to your feet is an understatement. The thinner sole and fabric top are the answer to the above statement. No question that both of these factors shorten the life of the shoe, which I wear almost everyday. The only negatives are that the show tread makes the show more flexible, it also has some traction problems on ice or wet ground. The fit of the shoes I have found to be small so going one half size to one full size larger has been the norm for me. None of the shoes peculiarities present enough of an obstacle to not want more of them.

These are great shoes. They look really good and are super comfortable. The only problem is that they rub on the back of my foot at my Achilles, but if I wear taller socks instead of the no-show socks they're perfect! There are so many great colors, I want another pair!

Sleek and low-profile, especially compared to regular athletic shoes, these make a great shoe for people like me who are too lazy to wear actual shoes on the daily. No tradeoff here as far as style and comfort. Will absolutely buy again and probably end up hoarding several pairs.

Great Shoe! I tried the Nike Flex. It was also a great shoe, but was too narrow in the front part of the shoe for my foot. These Asics have a slightly wider front section. The padding is not super plush, but is firm. I walk from 2-8 miles in one shift at work and these have felt very nice through the end of a shift. I'm also required to have all black shoes at work. Of the other shoes I tried, some sacrifice looks for comfort. These have combined a good fit and sleek look into one great shoe.

Love these shoes. I purchased them to wear as a server at a fast paced restaurant. They offer excellent support when I'm on my feet for 8 hours straight. They even come with 3 pairs of laces (black, charcoal, and white). True to size and stylish.

This is my 5th pair of Onisuka Tigers and definitely not my last. I really like these shoes for a few reasons. Firstly, I don't really care for Chucks, just a personal preference. These shoes fill the need for a casual sneaker that doesn't draw too much attention to itself and still looks good with most outfits. Secondly, they are pretty affordable. I can afford a new pair every year without breaking the bank. Lastly, they are comfortable for everyday use with or without socks. I have had pairs I liked for than others, these ultimate 81s are probably my favorite. The way the shoe looks on my foot seems well proportioned in my optinion of course.

These were recommended to me by my roommate who has been wearing this brand for years. I just got these and they are truly amazing. I am a full time nanny and I live in a city so needless to say I do a ton of walking and I have not had any problems. I did not even need to break them in. I have worn them for three days now and have not had a blister or any soreness at all. I wear an 8 and the 8 in this shoe is true to size. However I would not necessarily wear thick socks with these because they might feel a little snug. I am also obsessed at how these look. They are sleek and go with so many outfits! Dresses, shorts, skirts... you name it they go with it!

I bought the Black/Monaco Blue. I love the color and style. Being in my late forties, this was the style of early running shoes around 1980, just like the name, Ultimate 81. These are comfortable, but don't expect to compare them to modern running shoes. Technology in shoes has come a long way. Back then, these were considered very comfortable considering most of us grew up wearing shoes with no arch support and leather soles! I have mid to high arches and in my opinion these have a moderate arch. If you have a high arches, these may not offer you much support, but then I use these for casual wear. I like the mesh on these shoes, it keeps them very flexible and lets your foot breathe. I normally wear a women's size 9, and do in Asics Gel running shoes. In these 8.5 fits me perfect.

I have the white/mixed black pair and they go with everything! I'm super pleased with this shoe, and I definitely plan on buying more. I'm a teacher, so I'm standing for the greater part of the day, and these shoes have been amazing.

These shoes were not comfortable. They felt like cardboard. I cannot imagine walking, let alone running in these shoes, and I'm not someone who needs a lot of support in a shoe. They looked boxy on my foot, and I was expecting a slimmer profile. Please ignore the 5 stars, I can't change them. I would give them 2, 2, 2. Guess I'll look for another shoe. These are going back.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Lightweight and mostly flat sole. Added bonus that the heel is reflective, great for being a little more visible at night. I bought two pairs.

These shoes are very comfortable, and required no time to break in. I usually have blisters when I change shoes, but these were immediately comfortable.

Super stylish, comfortable and best of all, truly vegan and cruelty free. As a personal trainer and owner of fashion/fitness company sexy through science I really have had to search hard for a vegan sneaker that was stylish and functional and these are them! They look amazing and I run through the streets and subways of NYC as well and teach in dance studios with ease! I bought an extra pair I love them so much!

I took the advice of the other reviews and went a half size up with the exclusive black/charcoal colorway. These were a perfect fit with my Spenco insoles. Didn't take long to break in and are super comfy. As a bartender who spends all day on his feet I highly reccomend these shoes. I even wear them off the clock!

I've hand these for over 3 years and still wear them as my go to everyday shoe. Threw them in the wash about 8 times and they keep on going strong. They get more comfortable them more you wear them. I will not replace them until they completely fall apart!

This is the second pair of Onitsuka shoes I have ordered from Zappos for my husband. He loves the shoes - the style, the comfort - he's a size 13 and has a hard time finding comfortable shoes. These are his go-to. Shipping was FAST; I ordered them late on a Tuesday night and they arrived Thursday afternoon. Not quite 48 hours.
